I would like to applaud Emily for going above and beyond in terms of costumer service! Matt has a welcoming and positive attitude that I always enjoying seeing whenever I go to the store. Both are excelent assets to this team, since staff like that are the reason that I prefer coming to JB Hifi over other competitors

They didn't have The Seekers CD that I wanted. They said they could order it in but it would take about a month. Helpful service though. They did the best they could.

Bought an Acer laptop here about 7 months ago which unfortunately ended up having issues (not Jb's fault), they organised getting it sent back to be fixed for me. Acer had to order parts for repairs and were unable to give any ETA which was frustrating as I used this laptop for my work as I'm a freelancer. I emailed back and forth with the sales manager who advised me to go into the store, speak to IT and they would sort out a replacement for me. I went in and spoke to Michael (I think that was his name), he's assisted me 3 separate times now and honestly he deserves a pay rise. He was so helpful, actually listened to what I needed in a laptop for my work and helped me pick out the best replacement. Not to mention the extremally generous discount he provided me. Huge, huge thank you to you and the awesome service you all provide! :)

I have had to return some earphones twice (on extended warranty) the service was excellent (ian you are a credit to the franchise)... its not the stores fault that the earphones didnt live up to the manufacture hype... but the store was awesone..full replacement and a new extended warranty. No issues.. awesone :-)

Really good customer service whenever you go in - the staff are really knowledgeable and helpful and you don't feel pressured to buy anything. I've been in a few times as I am so indecisive about what phone I want to buy and each time I've spoken with Brett who has been patient with my (pretty stupid) questions and genuinely listened to what I wanted and talked me through each phone, showing me the features, etc. I didn't feel rushed or pressured to buy but when I know what I want, I'll be back and will ask for Brett! :)

The level of service was amazing at JBHFW, both before and after the transaction with great care taken over the packaging of my product from the amiable, young gentleman whose customer skills were outstanding. JBHFW makes it possible for customers to spend big without experiencing buyer's remorse because their attentive and customer-centric personnel took the time required to provide informative support throughout the sales process. Instead of a grab-your-money and run scenario its heartening to witness staff investing time to convert a customer into a loyal, returning fan.

Great service, excellent prices and the security guard at the entrance is such a legend Edit 2021: downgraded a star because I went in and said "I know what I'm after, please show me where it is" and the staff member responded "could I interest you in spending a bit more?" Maybe their commission scheme has changed.

We went to buy a PC and came home with a laptop. We are very happy with our purchase. Fantastic salesperson. He really took the time to listen to us and find out our needs. He didn't show us or push top of the line products. He worked out that a mid range product would suit us best. He then proceeded to show us the relevant products that were on special. He did not overwhelm us with technical jargon. His pitch was low key, but compelling. He was able to answer all of our questions and more. He was able to close the deal with us getting exactly what we wanted for less than we had expected to spend. I wish I could remember his name as that guy is one in a million!

Always go here for my electronic-shopping, you just can't go wrong with JB hifi, they always have great deals and wide range of products. One interesting thing about this place is that the security guys are always friendly but some of the cashiers/front staff just have no facial expressions and are a bit unfriendly.

I don't want to be hassled by sales people all the time when I'm in a store but I certainly appreciate being asked if I would like help, or someone hovering in the near distance. Quite cramped and not a great range of games in the games store. The adjacent store is pretty much like any other JB Hi-Fi. Decent prices, warehouse like feel, not a lot of aisle space. Staff were friendly enough but not the overly weird friendly that makes you want to leave.

One of the best ranges of CDs, DVDs and Blueray left in Wellington's CBD. Large central shop next to the foodcourt below Willis St, Lambton Quay. Surprisingly they didn't have half the items I wanted, not sure if this was due to supply issues or not. Prices were very competitive. The staff were very professional and polite.

Plenty of options at competitive prices. I regularly find myself here when looking for new gadgets. I just recently bought my new Sony WH1000XM3 headphones from here. The staff are helpful without being in your face. My only complaint would be their opening hours which can make it hard to look around except on weekends.

It is a bit expensive but has good quality products that I think are worth the extra price. My earphones I bought have excellent quality bass and have lasted over a year and still going which is a long time compared to most earphones I’ve owned.

Great deal on fitbit charge 2. $97 down from $179 as part of a black friday sale. Only frustration was that I received email that it was ready to pickup however when I got there they said they were still picking it & getting the order ready outback. This was resolved in 5 mins.

KEEP YOUR RECIEPTS - Jb doesn't keep detailed customer records, we need a bank statement to recreate a lost receipt. Happy to price match, just ask.
