Having had problems with our Smart TV freezing with our wifi, I contacted Need a Nerd. The communication with both Carl and Blair was excellent, and responsive. The problem we had has been solved, and if I have any future IT problems at home, I wouldn’t hesitate to contact Need a Nerd again. Great service, and I thoroughly recommend this team. From the time I first contacted Carl on Need a Nerd, to the follow up with Blair they have been great to deal with... I had despaired of ever sorting out my recent computer problems, but Blair did a great job! He was efficient, pleasant and obviously really new what he was talking about.

Blair is absolutely outstanding. He has sorted our various technology issues both at old home and now at new one. Excellent advice and recently gave my laptop a new lease on life! Excellent service. Would absolutely recommend Need a Nerd to sort out your issues. A see there are only five stars but I would give them 10!!!

I found Carol from Need A Nerd to be very helpful and supportive over the phone and Carl was able to send a service tech to the property within two days to fix a configuration issue I had with the previous provider. I later signed up to Need A Nerd fibre network and like the fact Need a Nerd offer their customers an after hours 0800 number and you can speak to a IT tech over the phone to resolve any problems.

Your advice re webcams made good sense - and I followed it! Your sourcing and installation of the new monitor I requested was incredibly prompt and smoothly managed.
A frustratingly intermittent problem was energetically pursued, again most promptly, until a solution was found; the offending device was replaced under warranty.
It seems that any problem, big or small, is tackled cheerfully and with the minimum delay. I feel well served.

I have assisted Carl with providing onsite technical support to a number of his clients and have no hesitation in recommending them. You are not just dealing with the professional who arrives at your door, but the entire Need a Nerd operation. Behind the scenes is a the support of a network of technical specialists plus the benefit of established policies and procedures and adherence to 'best-practise' standards. We contacted Need a Nerd in desperate need of some help with our work computers, and the lovely Blair popped in to see us within an hour of our phone call. He spent 3 days working through all of our issues, and also brought us into the 21st century with a whole range of updates, helpful suggestions and fixes for things we'd been struggling with for years. He has quite the sense of humor, kept us informed as to what he was doing through the whole process, and answered all of our questions no matter how silly we thought they were. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Need a Nerd to anyone needing IT help - from the most simple things to the very complex!
