Great staff, helped me choose the right parts to build both mine and my girlfriends computers. Good recommendations and extremely helpful mindsets for questions about practically anything in the store. Generally if you want something specific it’s best to go in a week or so beforehand to get it shipped in, but apart from that I can’t think of anything they could do to improve it!

PB have ended up dominating computer retailing in NZ, but for good reason. Has a much wider range than mass merchants like Harvey Norman and Noel Leeming. Service is good and staff are knowledgeable.

Ordered and replaced my PC's broken motherboard within a week, free of charge, and kept me updated and in the loop throughout. Big thank you to the repairs team who got it all done during the busy New Year's period. Cheers!

Good products and enjoy the options at PB tech over the past 15 years or so, however it really annoys me that the only three stores in NZ with lines at the door are Louis Vuitton, Armani and PB Tech. I do not know if PB Tech are prolonging the lines to try to put themselves into the same exclusive category as the above other stores, but you are annoying your regular corporate customers. In store pick up was not an option today as it takes them 2-3 days to prepare, not good when you need ink for business use TODAY. I have just had to stand in a line for 30 minutes to buy printer ink. Just printer ink. I understand that this is due to COVID restrictions, however there are only ever 20-30 people allowed in store from what I see. The floor space restricts how many people they can have in store, so when you close off around 60% of your store floor space to customers it makes for a ridiculously small number of customers allowed in store. You have to stand in the same line as people waiting to browse the store - this became a nuisance for me when I bought 2x entire PC rigs 2 weeks ago and had to shove past the hordes hovering outside the door. PB Tech, if you are going to continue to make us stand in silly lines 30-40m up Vivian St be opening up the side door tech service for in store pick ups and stop wasting focused buyers times. Please?

I was in the adapter section looking for a USBC to DVI adapter and Matthew H asked me if I needed help. I told him what I was looking for and he found it straight away. He then looked for alternatives, but it appeared to be the last one. I went to the counter and just before I was going to pay he turned up with a cheaper version! Super happy with Matthew’s friendly and thoughtful service.

A huge shout out to Michael who helped me find what I was looking for. Plus I got the jump in to the pay for it faster as well. Thanks loads Michael. Searched for an USB to RJ45 console cables in that store is a hazzle when you need it immediately for work purposes and I was in a hurry. Really good electronics available here. Downside is no parking spaces available around as it's on a busy busy road near the traffic lights. Plus they always out of stock for most of the important products needed. Thanks team.

Service department needs work, Far more focused on the paperwork and bureaucracy than the actual service. Staff are otherwise in sales are otherwise friendly, and helpful. Reasonable product range.

I love this store. You may be waiting to be seen, but the air-conditioning is perfect, and there's a lot to look at. The staff are patient and professional, being a computer geek goes a long way here - and if you're trying to decide between two phones apparently the same value they can usually tell you which one has better architecture translating to extended battery life at the physical level. Take your time weighing what's right for you with big purchases, everything be shiny the tech industry is over advertised (eg: a television says it has all these modern features but they don't always function simultaneously) The online custom computer builder has a limited range to ensure compatibility but I trust this company to put the parts together considerately.

Consistently good service here and in Petone. This branch has a good stock and a lot of more tech parts and boards. Online service also very good with a wider range of parts.

Always easy to get the service I need at PB tech. I brought in my laptop to get fixed and $80 and a week later it’s all good to go. Can’t recommend them and their expertise enough to anyone needing tech help

Amazing pbtech, the staff are super nice and the managers there are never stingy and always come to fair resolution. Will always be a return customer, they have looked after me excellently for two decades now.

Big ups to Rovi at PB Tech in Wellington. Outstanding service & what an amazing guy - even went into work on his day off to sort our order for all in one PC's. We are absolutely stoked with Rovi's recommendations & and stealth mode order and delivery. One of the PCs was purchased in Wellington on Friday was delivered in Christchurch on Saturday! The Asus Zen Aio's are incredible, easy to set up, super fast, love the high quality sound speaker, and they look so pretty, love wireless. I will leave a review about the tech in due course. Nice and large store, the layout is unusual and can be difficult to navigate. It also has an unusually small variety of products for a pb tech store.

As a professional IT Desktop Support Engineer, I find PB Wellington to be the best store I have ever dealt with - period. Just yesterday I was getting BSOD on my own home PC, turned out one of my RAM modules was failing to release memory to a particular address range. I bought that RAM at PBW and with no hesitancy whatsoever, despite it being 19 months since purchase, they replaced it, no questions needed beyond a screenshot from MEMTEST application. An excellent place for electronics and hightech gadgets. Not a very big store but it is a well stocked store. Prices are reasonable and they run different deals most of the times. It is bit hard to get the attention of a sales executive at peak times so better if you can avoid the peak times if you need the help of them. The only downside with this store is the parking space. The store is facing a busy street and there is no parking there. This seems like a bit of an issue especially you are planning to pick any large appliance. However they provide delivery at a very reasonable price.

Good deals and better pc set up than most

We came in on a really busy Saturday and had a ton of questions, (Mike?) who had just started went and found us someone who could help and Kade spent at least an hour with us finding solutions and giving us recommendations. They were both really friendly and went out of their way late on a busy shift to help us out. Thanks heaps guys!

Not sure about the price compared to other places, finance options are not as good as others but when it comes to computer, they know what are the talking about.

As far as I know, this is the one and only walk-in computer parts store in Wellington City. Staff is friendly and helpful. Wanted to get custom parts for a PC that I'm building, got it done in less than 30 mins. Check out the website and check the "available in store" button before heading down if you want to cash and carry. Otherwise order ahead and collect in store works too.

They do the best deals. Unfortunately because of that it is always busy.

No real issues, location is pretty inconvenient though. Not much range compared to petone store, but then again that's a new store.

After phoning at least 4 times every day for a week with no response I decided to visit PB Tech. Waited 10 minutes to get to talk to sales person who was very helpful. But I do think they are understaffed as I needed to go to the service department and after waiting 15 minutes and still no movement in the queue, with one person serving, I had to leave. Will try again next week and report back.

PB Tech in Wellington have great stock and have competitive prices but it's not a "good" in-store shopping experience. I always prefer delivery or to pick up. Overall customer experience is a bit hit and miss, but most staff are helpful. Queue times can sometimes take a long time as there is no dedicated cashier so running in to quickly grab consumables like cables or sd cards can take a long time. Queueing is also a bit awkward for customers as it's not clear where customers "should" queue. The store is a bit untidy, dated and layout disjointed comparatively to their other stores. Understandably there's limited space and some of the products naturally can't be displayed/stacked easily.

Amazing service and competitive prices. The guys I spoke to were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Despite being very busy over the long weekend, they took the time to give honest advice and were thorough about checking components and providing very helpful tips. Highly recommend.

Great range of electronics. There is also a very good range of pc components in stock, which is not available in many shops. Guys are knowledgeable and always make time to provide good advice when I've gone in store. Highly recommend!

Went here to get a 500gb SSD and 8gb DDR4 for my 9 year old laptop when they had a sale on. I am now playing retro games I didn't think my almost doorstop laptop could do.

Haven't actually looked around PB Tech as yet. Only went there for a new laptop for the wife as a xmas present, but the service was brilliant and informative and they had just what I was looking for. Now has become a go to place for computer parts and accessories, dangerous place (in a good way) for someone that's after electronics. Also have a good after sales service/repair department. 04/03/2022 Well that was an interesting trip to the shop in Wellington. I got my click and collect, a Razer Basilisk mouse, and bought a new keyboard, Logitech G915, awesome piece of tech. But, guys oh PLEASE LEARN TO ANSWER THE PHONE, I'm sure it's not that scary. Twice I tried, even went though service for the third try. And even while I was in the shop the phone was constantly ringing, maybe the guy sitting in the flash gaming chair could be doing the phone too.

I’ve just dealt with PB Tech, not sure which branch because everything was done online, however I have to say I have been more than impressed by their professional service. I ordered the wrong receipt printer inadvertently and PB Tech willingly took it back into stock even though I had opened the box before realising it was not a Bluetooth model which is what we really needed. Within 2 days of sending the printer back, we received a store credit which I have just used to complete the purchase of the correct printer. Thanks PB Tech, excellent service that cannot be faulted……you guys rock!

This is my go to place for things IT especially if I need a local warranty and support. There was a decent selection of cpu coolers and full tower cases to choose from when I needed to do a partial rebuild.

Good website and decent store with bargains. The only con is that the store always seems understaffed with big wait times at the till. It can be difficult to find a free staff member to help you. I wouldn’t bother calling because these guys are so busy the phone seems to ring non-stop. Order online if you can.

Really good web site. Large range of items, with ability to check stock in local store. Good stock in Wellington store (my local). Staff courteous, and appear knowledgeable to me. I think I get good advice, without pressure to buy dear items.

Good selection of gear, reasonable pricing, not quite enough staff (there's always a wait). People usually try to be helpful, which can be entertaining in a particularly nerdy person.

Pros: Awesome staff and verity of products to choose. Cons: No directions to parking from main road and very limited customer parking slots available on the roof top. Once you manage to park, no directions to get back to store from the roof top parking. There is a lift/ elevator which can be used to get to ground floor but it's completely hidden and again no directions or indications. PB Tech should consider that how customers reach their store goes under customer care as well.

I went to check out a pc gaming set I saw on the PB web page, I showed the attendant what I was interested in, the salesperson was very help and knowledgeable. Hints for buyers, check the web page for items and also check stock items per store if your intending to take the item home that day, otherwise you can order over the counter or on line. PB is the store I recommend for all things computer.

Previous review was a complaint about poor service, PB Tech contacted me and fixed the problem + provided refund, was unhappy with initial treatment but they went above and beyond to make it right.

Half decent range, some of the staff are super helpful. Others not at all. Prices aren't cheapest. Kitted out network, decent range of PC components. Ordered in stock fro. Other store when they didn't have to hand.

It's OK but I think the store needs to get over itself a bit, 4 separate areas/tills depending on whether you are buying, picking up, need service, or mobile. Essentially it's moving towards being a warehouse/pickup for things you can only see on the website, with fewer goods on display.

Pretty good shop, don't expect to just walk in there and get a good deal. Do your research though and it will be very cheap. Best tech store in Wellington, only in front of Jaycar because of them having more stock. Fun place to go to see if you like something or not, and if also fun to just look at the cool stuff they have.

Staff helped straight away. Didn't have the screen protector in store but was able to order. Unfortunately still hasn't arrived, due to shipping errors. Would be nice to have updated stock. But pretty good otherwise

The best computer shop I've ever been in - bar none - and I've spent my life in and out of enthusiast stores like this. The service is excellent (they really know their stuff) and the range of goods on offer is incredible. Their prices are often the best in town as well, making them the full-package. Extremely highly recommended.

Good store if it has the stock on hand but the main thing that let's this store down is the location and difficulty with parking.

Great technical staff that have helpful, direct attitude and make an effort to retain customers. Manager had big ear hoops, a sorta greasy ponytail and was self-centered, kept customers waiting for 20 plus minutes without adjudicating time or acknowledging people, so bad customer service in that dept. Standard stock otherwise, good location.

My BlackVue dashcam MicroSD card failed shortly after 12 months and PBTech replaced it free along with a free upgrade from 32 to 64GB. Outstanding service! BTW - BlackVue themselves only have a 6 month warranty on these cards and weren't interested.

Usually quite busy. Shelves are almost always fully stocked and staff are helpful when you can get ahold of them besides at the counter to pay. Their phoneline does suck though - having tried to contact them rather than having to always visit the store, I've not successfully managed to reach them once in at least a dozen attempts over the last 2 years.

Great computer store with wide range of products. Prices are very good too. Not the cheapest of the cheap but then nothing beats being able to talk to friendly, knowledgeable staff for advice and returns can be done on site if you have problems. I have always got excellent experience from both Sales and Service. Service is especially highly commended. I have had my fair share of warranty issues with motherboards, RAM and cards. Things are made cheap nowadays. However, PB Tech has always rectified issues with minimal or no fuss. I would go PB Tech for the after sales service alone. They stand behind what they sell, period.

If you have consumer tech needs pb tech has you covered. They often have sales and offers around so worth checking often to see if something you need is on some offer. I would highly recommend checking their website as its perfectly designed and you can order your needed thingy either for pickup from store or home delivery. They have parking space but I would highly urge you to walk there as they're on Vivian street and traffic could get hectic there.

Well stocked computer store where you'll find a considerably wider selection than the chains offer. They pack a lot into the store, so it can sometimes be hard to find items and prices, but you can cross reference to the thorough website (you can also purchase online to pickup instore). Staff are helpful, but there is usually a queue. I've had no trouble with several warrantee claims, and their variety is hard to match in the region. Prices are very good, including when compared with online-only stores.

A busy store indeed. Gets crowded when busy as it is not very spacious. Has all the gadgets and techwear you need at decent prices. Customer service however is spot on.

Five stars++ Always had excellent service, great product range and prompt delivery. Recently I requested a return for some incorrect memory I'd purchased for my computer. PB Tech advised the correct product, then efficiently organised the return and credited to my account.They then went the extra mile to order me the right product using some of my credit. PB Tech rocks!!

Good store for electronic items on a reasonable price

My number one store to go to for anything technology wise. I have purchased pretty much every single component for my home having gaming pc here. Also all work office equipment and software purchased from these guys as well. Huge variety of stock and the best part every time I needed something it was in stock.

Very professional service. Well run, well orgaised store. Exemplary change back to Level 2 with security staff on the door monitoring customer numbers. Care about those that care about you!

I have always had the best experiences dealing with these guys!! They know their stuff and can answer technical questions on the spot. Just been pulling my hair out for an hour thinking about how to upgrade my graphics card set. 10 minutes on the phone with a dude named Daniel... All sorted! What a champ!!

Possibly the best computer store in Wellington in terms of pricing and stock in store. Been in a number of times over last 2-3 years. Their customer service is very hit or miss. Couple of guys there are great - friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable, the rest give the impression they're there against their will. Probably understaffed, as there is always a wait, service/repairs can be painfully slow, even answering the phone takes them an age.

Really happy with the repair team. Had a unfixable chromebook. Got My money back within 24 hours.

Great product range but the staff could be more attentive. Two staff members were too busy having a personal technical discussion to serve me even though I was standing right in front of and hearing them at the customer service desk. Not good form. I was able to obtain what I wanted but was made to wait needlessly.

Great store with an great range of products, that grow as fast as the market does. Awesome customer service. Any issues I have had with anything I have purchased there. They are quick to resolve it or even replace it. No.1 place I shop for all my tech. They always have what I am looking for and they always have it at the best price in NZ.

Very good shop for the computers and it's parts apart from other electronics products. Really like and recommend PB Tech to others. I have found only this shop for computer parts and it is the best.

parking can be a hit and miss round the back. when attempting to get help from the staff sometimes really good sometimes not so good. better to do your home work prior to going there so you at least you know what your after. Prices are usually pretty good. website shows what stock they have in hand at you local store

Friendly, knowledgeable and approachable staff who are exceedingly helpful and skilled. Repair was completed very quickly. They even sorted out the cable spaghetti inside my pc and gave me some mounting screws for my cooling system. They also have a great product range and prices (both in store and online) and do in store pickup. Highly recommended.

PB Tech is one of Aotearoas largest computing chains and Information technology retail stores and offers the reasonable prices on a wide range of desks tops, laptops and tablets. My 10" Samsung tablet was a great buy with good customer service

They have some good deals but shouldn't still be charging additional for credit card, plus good luck waiting in line to pick anything up. Staff availability in store is always a problem. Buy in stock items only, buy online and pay for delivery to avoid most common issues PB are known for

They are always helpful when it comes to electronics. They have a large stock of computer related parts and accessories. I do wish they would stick a bit more variety iin their cables. They have the same cable, same length, same price but in two sections occasionally.

Service was okay, but could not solve my problem, they did give me some discounts but left it on my hands to solve the problem, they asked me to send them an email with all the details and after about 2 weeks still haven’t received an email back or any information, which has left me frustrated.

Best tech store around, though I don't even know if there are others in welly. Friendly staff who are always willing to help, and an insanely massive range of computer components, phones, and other miscellaneous tech items. It's perfect for all your tech needs!

PB Tech is a place I keep coming back to, and recommend to my friends. There are branches country-wide, with just about everything electronics-related. Their website is easy to navigate, and their staff in-store are comprehensive in what they're selling. PB Tech has frequent sales, and often ends up cheaper than their competitors for consumer electronics, even when their stuff is not on sale.

Max's customer service was over and above expectations....bloke was knowledgeable and helpful and good humored when the eftpos was down and I went and got some cash out....11/10!

Returned an Intel SSD that had failed after 23 months use. Once confirmed I was given a full cash refund. No hassles. Great service

A good all round electronics store. Most items listed on the website are available. In store help could have been better, techs don't seem that keen to help, but doesn't matter that much.

I just got the new RAM for my Sony viao laptop. I spoke with Tyler (a supervisor) over the phone before purchasing it, to make sure I could bring in my laptop and have them transfer everything. Tyler was amazing and answered all my questions and assured me they would take care of it. There was a problem with the laptop and attaching the RAM I wanted, but Tyler was creative and made it happen:-) When I arrived in the store, Tyler passed me over to Alex to care of everything and I'm glad he did. Alex had to jump through a bunch of hoops starting with the fact that we couldn't get the Ram in my laptop as it's attached to the motherboard. Then we had problems with old passwords and logging into accounts. I know these are details that most people wouldn't care about, but the bottom line was the outstanding customer service I received! Alex was patient giving me one on one attention until we resolved the problems. Because of these two terrific employees, I will definitely go to PBTech again when I'm ready for my next computer purchase !

Staff were very helpful in helping get my PC parts. Ethan found a deal for better prices on my goods which meant I could buy more. Drew helped me carry the parts to my apartment when I couldn't carry them myself.

Recently expanded their store. Goto place when I've got to get an obscure computer cable (for antique hardware, back when programmers still used goto). Helpful staff every time I've visited. Frequently has the cheapest local price when doing searches online.

Staff are knowledgeable, and pretty much the only place in Welly where you can walk in and buy PC parts, networking stuff, etc.

Best computer store in Wellington, with full repair and build service. 5 specialist computers were ordered and built for our IT services business with 128 gig of ram, using 64 processor cores. No problem. Full range of cellphones, laptops, etc.

Eh it was okay. One of the employees just kept joking around with his other colleagues when I was literally in front of him waiting to buy my stuff. Other than that everything was cool.

They had what I needed in the s shelf and in this climate that's a major plus.

If you want a computer or anything related to a computer these are your guys and gals. They have been honest with me when I bought a gaming mouse and didn't try and sell the most expensive model. If you're unsure ask And the staff is happy to help.

I am pulling a 180 here. I previously left a bad review for this place as I saw one sales assistance be short with a customer, and also experienced a curt sales assistant myself during my first visit. I have since visited a couple of times and the staff have been super helpful. I will give the staff the benefit of the doubt here; perhaps I caught them on a bad day. Visit there with a specific question, and they'll sort you out. It's not the type of shop to 'window shop'.

Best supplier in Wellington. PB tech's prices can't be beat, and they have a good selection. I'm a bit technology minded so I see their hardware store approach to decor and service as positive.

These guys have the lowest price IT kit around. Some staff are knowledgeable first hand on the kit, some aren't. I've given only 3 stars after they refused to return my broken phone that they also refused to repair under warranty. I managed to track down the repair shop in Auckland that they sent my phone to who also onsells phones on trade me. I tracked down that they had likely onsold my phone on trade me which was why they refused to return it to me originally. They also only offered to repay half of the cost of the phone only. So a really well priced and stocked store who will get stuff to you quickly, but prob not a good idea to get a phone from them.

I went looking to replace the power cable of my laptop. The price was excellent. I couldn't believe how good it was. There were lots of people waiting for service and looking a bit sick and tired. There were only 2 people out front. A system where they could call for extra help on the floor would be great.

The shop us computer needs buy our gear. I have no idea why people would buy overseas to save a few bucks when they have what we need on a good price, especially on the plenty of specials. Knowing the owners makes me a bit byist. Nonetheless, their warehouse style concept of selling computers would give best buy in the US a run for their money. They clearly haven't set up shop here. PB Tech is probably thankfully responsible for the demise of dick Smith. Who needs dick Smith or one of the other chains, if you can buy at PB Tech. I would just love to be locked into a warehouse for a night. Yeah a Five star for a computer shop. Here it is.

Selection is ok, but stock in Wellington is generally low, so be prepared to wait on parts for full PC builds. I was recently made aware that PB Tech orders some brands / parts from their competitors like Computer Lounge due to exclusive distribution agreements. The floor staff are generally helpful, but it is frustrating when trying to process returns. PB Tech have often presented as more interested in the sale, than in warranty support for defective purchases.

I think customer service could improve more. No good having two open cashiers when the place is packed and people waiting to just pay for a cable.

This store is fantastic. Customer service to product quality is just excellent. Their store is super clean and tidy. Remeber there is a small parking space on the roof. Always recommend buying here. Thanks

PB Technologies has the best prices for computers and other tech gadgets in NZ. The staff is genuinely helpful, providing the best advice for your specific needs and wallet size and from their personal experiences. The store has a easy to follow layout as well. The only negative I would have is that parking is very limited.

Been to PB Tech a few times over the years and never had all the things I needed. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable though. For any enthusiasts build rather look elsewhere but for all your everyday mild gaming and office needs this is the place to go. Sadly they are still the best in Wellington...

Good selection of computer parts and general electronics. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful and their returns policy is pretty easy to deal with.

Good products and the staff are friendly but some of them are not sure what they are talking about. Also because they are so busy the wait time can be a pain to talk to someone but that's not really their fault. Well priced and the guy I always deal with kicks ass.

My favourite place to shop. I like to look at the website before visiting so I know if the stock I want is available. And fun to browse as well. I've spent way too much money with them over the years but always feel like I've got a bargain.

After arriving in New Zealand from the USA I was in need of some computer power cables for the power system here. I went to a store up the street who wanted to sell me a cable for $50. A friend recommended PB Tech and we walked down there to find that the cables I needed were only $2-$4 a piece. Awesome! I walked out of there spending a fraction of what I would have spent up the street. They are well stocked for all your computer needs. Would buy from here again.

Ordered a couple of times from here and never a problem. Everything delivered perfectly and fast. Great service. Plus they have inventory that the "big" electronics stores just don't carry or cannot get.

Notified me of one issue with my PC, had it fixed, only when I came in to pick up and pay did they tell me another part wasn't working. Would have happily had that fixed too if I'd known in advance. Will probably go elsewhere to have that part repaired when I have time. Love ya work. 🤙

After having a less than welcoming experience at the photo warehouse, I opted for PB Tech to buy a new mirrorless camera. I was served by Drew and received the best customer service I've had in a long time! He was welcoming, friendly, and knowledgable about the equipment I was purchasing. I arrived half an hour before closing time, and he was more than happy to stay 20 minutes past closing to help me complete my purchase. I have now bought an iPad and a camera from PB Tech and couldn't recommend them more! They have great products for a great price. A happy customer :)

Great store, they have friendly employee's and got my E-Blue Cobra Junior mouse there for $20 as my first gaming mouse and it works great! They also have a cheap $3 mouse pad! Highly Recommend!

Went for Raspberry Pi accessories... But stock very low. Got most of what I needed. Staff friendly and helpful, although not so much with Raspberry Pi. But that's to be expected.

I've been a customer of PB Tech for quite a while now - since before I care to remember. Their only shortfall is lack of decent parking (their actual parking is up a ramp so tight a 4WD needs to do a 5-point turn to get in/out!) however it's not usually a problem as there's loads of parking on Vivian St and despite rarely paying for the on-street parking, have never received a ticket. Anyway, back to PB Tech - always a great range, generally knowledgeable staff, some really good pricing especially when items are on sale. If I want something obscure and tech, this is the place I go, every time. If they don't have it in stock, they can usually order it in - whatever "it" is!

Best computer and electronic store in Wellington. Knowledgeable staff, great selection of products that you won't find elsewhere. Reminds me in many ways of going into an electronics store in Singapore or Hong Kong. Much better than the more general stores like Noel Leeming.

Typical PB tech store but not massive. Not all stock in mailer was displayed on shop floor but it was out back. Good offers. Onsite parking is on the roof top, is small and very tricky...I would park on road side next time 😕

Have to say not particularly impressed with repair service desk, came in to ask for quote to determine cost involved for cracked screen on laptop and was informed cost is $69 for diagnostic and quote. I mentioned I had laptop with me, and guy just repeated $69 cost. I had already been to two other PC repair shops who provided free quotes so I thought it would be the same here, not so just a singular response, no mention that there is free quote avail on your website which gets u two stars. I would suggest a more informed response for ur service desk person in the way of offering options. Hopefully I will get a satisfactory reply from ur website as I'm waiting to hear back. They have lovely small cameras that are very low-profile as I've installed one in the local public bathrooms and they're still there even after 3 whole "lovely" years 👍🏿 👍🏿

Going downhill in my opinion. Purchasing things is fine for the most part, but their warranty repair service has gotten worse now that they outsource their (phone, tablet) repairs to FoneFix. They have become very slow and their returns department has poor communication. This is coming from someone who has bought and returned a lot of things from them over the years.

Cannot fault these guys at all. Have been to them for several issues over the years, from fixing my failed gaming PC build to recovering data from a dead HD, they preform exactly what you want for an extremely competitive price. By far the best in their field without exception and I do not 5 star anything (until now).

Some of the stuff they sell is at a really good price. It is always a good idea to check their stock levels before ordering anything.

Lots of stock, good prices, and some of the staff are so helpful (however they garunteed on a recent purchase that all the required cables would be in the box...and they were not. And gaurantee was meaningless as I had to purchase extras). But apart from that all good

Hands down the best IT store in Wellington. Annoying bit is if you want something out of the ordinary urgently it's seldom on the shelf and has to be ordered in. But saying that the wide array or products is awesome.

It's NZs biggest PC retailer. If they don't have it, probably no one does. If they do have it, everyone else does, and someone for slightly cheaper. Great for emergencies when you can't wait a day or so for delivery.

Not a helpfull really the stuff. The place was not crowded, but the people there seem more to be on their own bussines not really happy to answer your question or help u. I think the manager should make sure there is more people there particularly on a pc part sale's weekend. Oh, the only onw that would be help was a red bair/beard guy, he was good.

Best place to buy anything tech-related from. Unlike some other places the staff actually know their stuff and are super-helpful with making informed decisions. They're also awesome people too.

They have professional and polite staff.I went there 2 times.One for buying Sony SRS XB 20 Bluetooth speakers and second to replace it with XB 30.They provided me the exact details and replaced it with some minor charge which is totally acceptable.U have found the cheapest deal for this speaker.

Queing up on Black Friday Sale for a computer. Bought it and one week later same computer advertise on a sale at PB's shop for $200 less.What a waste of time and the Black Friday sale is a hoax for me on this one. Management and staff excellent but I will not shop there again. Feel ripped off.

Wow. This is an amazing store, so much stuff. I have looked everywhere for phones like Google Pixel and OnePlus 6 they are the ones that they have in stock! Great store, will be coming back.

Good returns policies. Actual shop has no natural light, which is nice in it's own way. Has a quirky, pasty tech vibe.

I purchase regularly from PB and they have been good, the 2 issues I have is how bad they pack there stuff, on 2 occasions they packed bare Laptop LCDs with other items like hard drives and both times the LCDs were faulty due to them being smashed up by the Hard drives, my second issue is why do you STILL use 2 day postage for business customers to the South Island, its 2017 most other company's are overnight before 3pm, it really delays repairs. Both easily fixable so I'm sure it will get better.

Love having a brick and mortar store in Wgtn, makes warranty returns easy if needed and they have been in business years， so should be there if needed. Some staff a bit grumpy, parking a bit tricky (but a least there is some)

Classic PB Tech. Competitive prices and great selection, though it's a 30 minute walk from basically everywhere. I can't explain it, but I feel quite a bit of brand loyalty. They should move to Lambton.

Probably the best selection of PC components and peripherals in Wellington. They've got a huge selection available online through their website, and you can collect from the store. Possibly not the cheapest around, but it's always in the ballpark on price, and the ability to be able to get something on the spur of the moment without having to wait for a courier is a big plus.

Can be hard to get service here but once you do they are knowledgeable and really helpful. Consistently better prices than Noel Leeming, Harvey Norman etc. Will match a deal from elsewhere if you ask nicely!

The guy behind the counter was really helpful, helped me format my old memory card for me and tested if it still worked (the adapter was broken but the card turned out to be fine) and then sorted me out with a new one for a great price, really good customer service!

Staff are always friendly and helpful. Bought many gadgets here and had my pc fixed when parts were still under warranty with no problems at all.

If you plan to pay with a credit card budget accordingly. They charge 2.5%. otherwise it's a good shop unless you go when they are super busy.

Great help and advice when i was building my computer. They replaced fulalty parts i found after my prebuild. And also pointed out when i almost got a replacement mobo with the wrong chipset.

Drove about an hour to get to the store in search of chairs which are all over the website but they didn't even have one in there on display, hardly anything is readily available on display, its mainly just boxed up ready for you to hope that its the right thing, check first before heading down to the store.

Best IT supplier in Wellington in terms of price, variety and service. Been using them for years. Keep an eye out for the sales.

The variety of parts sold is significant; ranging from top manufacturers to mid-range ones. Some staff not too knowledgeable though, with me having to return incompatible parts.

After having a hard drive meltdown and needing to fix it asap Stephen went above and beyond to help me get the new parts even when I was stuck in rush hour traffic and let me purchase after the shop had closed. Awesome customer service, cheers guys!

On several occasions they've not had enough people on the tills and queues gave gotten out of control. While some staff seem to be lazy others are excellent.

Staff tend to stay behind the counters, was hoping someone would come help me out find a computer. Went up and asked for help, all good from there.

PB is currently my first go-to shop for tech stuff. The price is usually relatively lower than other shops except those parallel imported shops. Not all shop staff have good knowledge about their products, but they will get the right people to help you.

Probably the place where we can land our hard earned money! Techies stay from this place and save money, because you will see all the latest tech here!

They have most of the stuff I look for most of the time bought a cable but minimum was 1 meter needed something shorter but only minor gripe otherwise would recommend

Plenty of computers, components and phones, though the computers are more gaming-orientated. Not the place to look for things other than a decent phone, gaming rig or good laptops.

Great service; they were even happy to apply a firmware update for the new monitor that couldn't be done from a Mac.

PBTech is for hardcore tech geeks. Staff are friendly and capable but clearly live to engage with their fellow hardcore geeks. Upstairs carparking is available but be cautious with the blind corners.
