When there was a hold up, due to a shipper's error, the staff at Rubber Monkey contacted the shipper to assist in resolving the delayed delivery. Their follow up was excellent. F.First of all RubberMonkey has great prices, they were selling a bunch of good quality cables and microphones a lot cheaper than any other retailer. The shipping was so fast, even though I paid via bank transfer it took 2 days to arrive. Then when I realised one of the cables I had ordered was too short, their support team (thanks Sonja) helped to get the replacement shipped to Auckland so I can easily swap it. Delivery times have always been as fast as possible, and the range of products are excellent.
Most recently, I had a minor issue with a courier (my address can be hard to understand). I contacted Rubber Monkey, who emailed me nearly immediately to offer support - faster than the courier company!

M.Rubber Monkey have been our go to for video and audio equipment for a number of years, their prices, service and delivery have been faultless.
However, I have recently noticed a shortfall that when I open the recent packages they no longer contain the lollies. Maybe they've hired a new MBA graduate to increase profitability, maybe it is a cost-cutting exercise in the warehouse, or maybe it's the guys in a warehouse eating the lollies. Today with all the cost efficiencies it is so sad to see such a classic Kiwi tradition being removed from the enjoyment of the customer. Lots of laughs!

E.On October, 9 I purchased the Klarus 26650 battery for my Feiyu G6 Plus stabilizer gimbal, which actually has exactly the same battery model number and visual appearance . There was minimum info about the battery and its compatibility and dimensions . As a result the battery doesn't fit the gimbal because it's longer then the original one.
If I had more info I wouldn't purchase it. So, I spend money for nothing.
However, the next day delivery was a positive side of the deal.
D.Really impressed with the service I received from Rubber Monkey, they went way above the call of duty to help with an essential piece of my kit that failed and was to be repaired under warranty. For this to happen it had to be returned to Canada. Instead, Glen (from Rubber Monkey) organised a straight swap with one held at their warehouse and the defective item to be returned to Canada under an RMA provided by the manufacturer. Such good service. I've since purchased further items from them and had the same excellent service, nice work guys, keep it up :-)

W.I recently decided to order a Behringer Xenyx X1204USB Mixer from Rubber Monkey based solely on the fact that GEM was offering interest free and since that is who I loan money from, I took a punt on Rubber Monkey.
A couple of days later I had the mixer and have been using it on a daily basis ever since.
It is early days as far as how durable the mixer is - but suffice to say, Rubber Money did their job getting to me what I wanted. Kudos to the delivery service they used as well.

p.I needed a clip for holding my camera/phone whilst i conducted on-line music lessons. This clip was not available in the stores but I managed to find it on Amazon and Rubber Monkey. Rubber Monkey was the better choice. The price was approximately the same from both but Rubber Monkey is local to me, The postage cost was tiny . almost nil i.e about $3.00 and the clip turned up in under 3 days. Excellent. The good news was that we received and email and then a back-up phone call from Ben and after being given options we went with a different brand that was advised to us and we're now happily making videos. So a frustrating situation was recitified by actual humans. Will definitely use again.

A.Generally have what I want at a competitive price and are good to deal with. I needed some audio monitors recently so compared the two options I was choosing between in their studio. I was impressed when the knowledgable staff member recommended the cheaper option as being better - which I went with and am enjoying the results. I'd rung up earlier and a different staff member had told me to book in a time to go in so they could setup the monitors before hand. I did book a time, but then they waited until I got there to set them up - so that was a little pointless, but I'm not worried. I'm happy with the monitors and the advice :)

J.What? I ordered a Tilta battery baseplate on a Thursday and it arrived THE NEXT DAY in my apartment in Melbourne, all the way from WELLINGTON NEW ZEALAND! Crazy. The last time I crossed the Tasman it took me three weeks! (Mind you on that occasion, I was sailing :). Shipping at $A20 was a lot for a small item, however Rubber Monkey was the only place where this item was readily available for me, so I have no problems whatsoever with that rate. S.Got a lot of things that aren’t available in Australia. Or at least Rubber Monkey have it before we do. Delivery is prompt and fast. Only bummer is the delivery fee. Otherwise I’ll get it from rubber.
