We've been building and renovating homes for years, Troy and his QBS team would have to be the most professional, tidy, respectful building team out of all builders we have worked with. QBS were extremely busy last year when we needed urgent work done for a non for profit charitable trust home, Troy was so accommodating. Thank you QBS, look forward to working with you again! Highly recommend QBS.

QBS have recently completed a high end home we designed in central Auckland. Our clients first approached QBS at the very start of the project, and we have worked collaboratively with them from the concept design through to the end of construction. This approach was invaluable to us as Architects, as we were able to discuss construction methodology, material selections and costings during the design process, which resulted in a smooth construction period. The design of the house had a number of carefully detailed features, and QBS took great care to ensure that the design intent was realised to a high standard. The team at QBS had excellent communication throughout the project and really cared about achieving the best end result for our clients. Aspect Roofing Ltd has installed roofs for QBS for several years now. I can speak for our team here at Aspect when I say that QBS are a great company to do work for and we look forward to installing many more roofs on their top quality builds.

We undertook a major renovation and extension to our house with QBS. Troy and his team at QBS are extremely professional and while we had to live through the renovation they made sure it was as least disruptive as possible. Troy and his foreman James & Marty constantly kept us informed of progress and identified issues they found with the old structure of the house promptly. Troy also gave us great suggestions when it came to saving on costs where we could against the plans. Troy provided us with excellent sub contractors who were all first class. We are thrilled with the outcome and love our new home. I would highly recommend Troy and his team at QBS for any major renovation, extension or new build - these guys are top class builders and just a pleasure to have around. Thanks to all involved!!!

Troy and his Team just completed a new build for us they did an amazing job ! When we were first let down by another contractor he stepped in to help us finish stage one (a slab prep) with very little notice .The property was a high end architectural build and required a skilled team which we got from QBS. We would definitely recommend them. I was particularly impressed with how tidy they kept our site. Great work Team . Thanks

Troy and his team couldn't come more highly recommended. Hardworking, excellent skills and really great people to be around too! They are an absolutely model for how builders and other trades should be operating. We think any clients would be lucky to have them! Great job all of you!

We used QBS for a renovation on our property in early 2017. We added on a small 5th bedroom, second lounge and double garage. In respect to the workmanship, we are very happy and the additions are great. Troy and the guys on site were always very pleasant and accommodated working around our young family. Troy's follow up post completion has been good and he has been keen to know if he can assist us further, which we have appreciated.

I have recently been hearing horror stories from friends of reputable builders who have not honoured their workmanship. I have absolutely no doubt that Troy at QBS "would" honour his & his teams work. The team have previously completed 3 renovations for me. This is testament in itself. Highly recommended

Having made up our mind to contract QBS to build our extension after being recommended by word of mouth Troy came to the party with sound advice apart from the intro to an architect Troy put two good young fellas on the job with Ryan Cowie as site foreman and Matt. These two young guys really busted their butts and went over and above even to the extent of building the internal gutter and supplying the drawings to the architect. Also all but one of the sub trades were excellent, to the extent we have used two of them more than once again Also would like to give a mention to Brent who also was a credit to QBS.

Chubb Electrical has a excellent working relationship and continued support for QBS as a company and is one of our preferred builders. We look forward to continuing our relation with QBS and would not hesitate to recommend there expertise to anyone looking to undertake a building project.

We decided to use QBS Limited for our house renovation. They were brilliant. In the initial planning phase Troy gave us some great guidance that saved us around $45,000 from what was originally planned. James, the site Foreman, and the QBS builders on site, were amazing to deal with. James and the team of guys on site were so great to get on with. Nothing was too much to deal with, even catching our runaway dogs, and they were extremely helpful and kept us abreast of what was happening at all times. Any time I had a problem or query, I could call James and he would sort it out. Throughout the whole project they gave us good sound advice for any problems that we encountered. If there were a number of options to solve an issue, James and Troy would give us the rough cost and good advice for each option. Their advice was invaluable. They have done so many renovations and builds that they have great insight into what really works and the pros and cons. All the Tradies that Troy organised were really fantastic to work with and all very skilful. The timing of every part of the renovation was organised perfectly, including Tradies on site and delivery of materials. The Tradies were also very helpful and so easy to work with. They offered advice on their particular area that really made a difference to the final outcome. The whole project ran extremely smoothly, all the Tradies worked together well (no blaming each other or getting in each other’s way). We had access to comprehensive online tracking of both the project costs and the project progress, so no surprises. This allowed us to forecast to the bank our upcoming costs and where the project was at (we found out very quickly that this is really important to make things with the bank go smoothly). Any issues along the way were raised with us, discussed thoroughly, and resolved with our full involvement and the best advice. The project came in just slightly over the original budget but, with the some of the original 1950’s and 1970’s poor building quality to fix up, we came in remarkably close to our original budget (thanks to Troy managing to come in under budget on some of the other parts of the project). Projects like this are all about the people, and you couldn’t ask for a better qualified, easy to work with, well organised, skilful team lead by Troy and James. Our house has turned out far better than I thought it would and the journey has been fantastic the QBS Limited. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Honest, hard working, friendly, and fun.

Troy and the team are nothing but professional, dealing with them as a subcontractor is always easy and communication on and off site is a very easy process! Highly recommend.
