Build Smart managed and completed a full interior refit for a rental property, with the owners overseeing remotely. We experience fantastic communication from start to finish, great ideas and the ability to find 'fit for purpose' solutions to any challenges that arose. I'd definitely recommend Glen and his team.

BuildSmart totally project managed our renovation from; reframing and reroofing our house, rebuilding of our garage and organising asbestos removal, replacing all the hinges on our windows, organising new windows, exterior painting and total remodelling and renovation of our kitchen and laundry - they are amazing! I found BuildSmart to be an exceptionally professional team and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them or use them again. I was extremely happy with the quality of their work which was completed to a very high standard. They worked very hard and I found Tuhi Mueller to be an excellent Site Manager and builder. His communication was outstanding. I was informed every step of the way what was happening and when. At no stage did someone not turn up when I was expecting them which in my experience is extremely rare. Lew Walsh the painter was also excellent. I found they were all very considerate and great to deal with. I also found Glen Williamson the Company Director excellent to deal with. He was very thorough and organised and I am sure his behind the scenes planning meant the job appeared from my point of view to flow seamlessly like a well oiled machine. I am a very satisfied customer thank you.

Buildsmart is a great company to work with! they concreted our driveway and back outdoor area for us and the result was fantastic. We told them what we wanted and they sourced everything for us so we did not have to worry about dealing with other suppliers, which was great, it saved us time and money so we could focus on other things. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a reliable company to do there alterations, building or outdoor areas.

We engaged with Buildsmart to install a wall and cavity slider in our master bedroom as well as paint the exterior of our home. We were thrilled that Buildsmart were able to begin and finish both jobs within our expected time-frame, with both completed to a high standard. There were a few times during the project where communication could have been a bit better (this was generally around the delivery and moving of the scaffolding), however with the job now complete we have nothing but praise and gratitude to the team at Buildsmart who did everything they could to ensure they met our deadlines. We would have no hesitation in recommending or engaging with Buildsmart in the future. Thank you Glen and the rest of the team at Buildsmart!!

Amazing! normally a builder would take a while to get round to your house to do some building renovations, but Buildsmart are straight onto it. Top quality building at good prices. Well done Buildsmart.

Buildsmart manage the repairs, maintenance, and renovations on all my student investment properties, while I'm based in Germany. Thanks to their advanced use of the latest technology I receive videos of quotes, project updates, and suggestions which makes it very easy to understand what's involved. I also receive PDF quotes and invoices directly into my Xero accounting software so I can easily keep track of expenditure. What I like most about Buildsmart is that like me they are constantly thinking about my properties, what I can do to improve them, and even send me a short email & video if they spot something untoward if they happen to be in the area driving past one of them. Buildsmart really make it easy and affordable to manage investments which gives me great confidence while based overseas.

We chose Buildsmart to assemble our new Allwood kitset studio, a job which turned out more complicated than anticipated. Thankfully the well-oiled team at Buildsmart stepped up to the challenge and now we have an adorable, sturdy, Dunedin-proofed (weather-wise) mezzanine studio-sleepout in our backyard.
