Would like to say thanks to Mike and his team at Fortified Homes for building this wonderful home for us. This is our first new build in New Zealand and the process could not have been easier. We got in to the house on schedule before Christmas and through out the build we had weekly updates on progress, so knew exactly what stage we were at. Even with supply issues nothing was a issue they were all sorted and we moved in to a great quality home. Would not hesitate to recommend Fortified Homes for your next build great service , friendly team and quality home delivered. Thanks Mike & Lisa and the team for everything.

My partner and I decided to go with Fortified Homes as our builder of choice for our first home and we’ve never looked back. As first-timers, we were incredibly anxious about the whole process but Mike and his team were always there for our guidance and to answer to any queries we had (we had many). Building with Fortified Homes gave us the flexibility to design our own house plan as well select different materials right down to the tiniest detail. As clients, we were kept well informed of the progress each week which really helped in giving us that extra peace of mind. The whole build process was seamless from start to finish with any minor issues dealt with promptly and in consultation with us. We couldn’t be happier with our home. Our house was completed within the advised timeframe and the quality and workmanship of our build is second to none. Mike and his team were professional yet friendly and accommodating throughout the entire journey. I will not for a second hesitate to recommend Fortified Homes should you consider building a home.

Fortified homes recently completed our lovely 4 bedroom home in Preston’s Park. From the beginning to the end the service was outstanding! We appreciated the willingness from Mike and his team to ensure everything was perfect, as they have very high standards. Communication was great, the process was enjoyable we could make changes/ upgrades in areas we wanted, or keep the original quality fittings included in our package. - there’s really no limit to the ‘optional upgrades’. You get to create your home how you want it, with in your budget and no unexpected surprises. They have a fantastic team of people who are always available to help, including an amazing interior designer. I highly recommend fortified homes! We built our first home with Fortified Homes and they were nothing but amazing. We agreed a fixed price upfront and the final build even came in under budget! Mike and the team were very easy to deal with, and were incredibly helpful both during the pre-construction phase and during the build. The weekly updates were always accurate, the quality was top notch, and the build was completed in only 18 weeks even though we started right in the middle of Winter. We can't recommend Mike and the Fortified Team enough. We absolutely enjoyed the process which was made far easier than we could have ever imagined, and we will definitely be building with them again!

Fortified homes are an amazing home company. I am thrilled to bits with my new home that was designed for me at no extra cost. I was told by lots of people it would be a long hard road building but instead Mike & Courtenay made it so easy from start to finish. Mike made it easy to make the budget work and because of this over runs were non existent unlike many other companies. Quality was exceptional for their standard products and the time to build was only 15 weeks from start to finish. I couldn't rate them highly enough!! If you want a great home at a great price with a good honest building company then this is the one you should choose.

Such a fantastic company to deal with from our initial enquiry through to completion of our new home. Mike and his team at are a family business who care about people, as are all of his sub trades, who were all organized, tidy, and fantastic with their communication to us. They did a fantastic job. Fortified Homes communication through out the process has been outstanding, weekly update email every Monday as to what is happening on site for the week so you always know what's going on. Their planning was meticulous and every detail was accounted for. Anyone thinking about a new build please give Mike and the team at Fortified Homes a call I highly recommend them.
