The team from Insulmax Wellington did a great job insulating our large bungalow. They juggled other jobs to fit in with our scaffolding and painting. The team arrived on time, were efficient, polite and cleaned up after themselves. We have already noticed it is warmer and quieter. I highly recommend their service.

Team was on time, hardworking and methodical. Has taken the edge off winter immediately! Installation was done via interior walls, we will be doing a few touch ups and repainting soon.

Kiaora, I'd like to start off by saying I'm completely satisfied with the process and the work which was done, insulating my walls and part of the ceilings. From realizing my house was freezing, I thought I'd call insulmax. After talking to Eamonn he gave me a good idea how much it was going to cost, Then directed me to Rikki who was there building sales and building assessor who is a great guy, Rikki in no time had measured up my walls, and got back to me promptly with a price and what needed to be done prior to installing insulation. After which we had a agreed on. When his team Sam and his crew turned up, sam explained the best way to go about completing the tasks ahead. They would even do walls from the inside of the house. Which was more convenient for me. The team went about there business in a professional way. As they proceeded drilling holes and pumping wool fibers into the walls, which was then sealed straight away with a marine grade quality bond which hardens very quickly and then sanded flat also primed with quality products, the finishing was more to my liking, excellent quality. Also the Team made sure they covered my furniture and electrical appliances with tarpaulins and canvases when doing work on my ceilings, they also had a industrial vacuum cleaner which cleaned up the excess mess and left my house in a very clean condition, I am over the moon as my home has never felt so warm after insulmax had completed the insulation. I highly recommend insulmax as they use a wool fiber which binds together to stay in place. Also paper work completed, certificates were issued and All concent papers were in order, and a friendly staff great people and professional attitude. It's not hard to see why Rikki and the InsulMax Wellington Ltd crew constantly get five-star reviews. Rikki came to visit and quote on some work we're looking to get done for retrofit installation on an external wall. Rikki spent an hour looking at the job we'd asked, plus all other potential options for insulation. He came back to us with a detailed and comprehensive report later that day stating all things that he could do, and then went on to say that he didn't think they were cost effective outcomes and he recommended other options (which they didn't do), even recommending other people to undertake the work. They replied to emails and phone calls immediately and were very helpful. They provided us with a clear plan of what we need to do to make our house warmer and drier. I'm appreciative that Ricky came out to understand our issue and provide a selection of ideas. It's great to see someone that only offers to complete work where they can add value rather than trying to up-sell you to do ineffective work.

Great communication. Arrived on time and worked until the rain was too heavy to complete the job that day. Promised to return the next day and did. The house is definitely quicker to heat and stay warm longer with less power. Very happy with the results.

I had insulmax blown into the exterior walls of my brick 1960's home. The exterior looks great. You wouldn't even know it has been done. Inside is much warmer and definitely holds the warmth. Mornings are no longer freezing cold in the winter. My home now holds the heat. Wonderful. So glad I had it done. The installation team were very professional and finished the job in a day. Highly recommend this product to prospective buyers. A+.

Eamonn was a pleasure to work with from the first contact through to the end of the job. The team that did the installation arrived promptly, worked efficiently and were informative throughout the process. The house felt warmer almost immediately and retains heat overnight ! Just what we wanted for the southerlies on the South Coast of Wellington. We are thrilled with the results.

We have a weatherboard single level house. Though it has double glazing & Batts in the ceiling we wanted to insulate our walls without having to rip out our recently renovated interior. Rikki (who is such a top bloke nothing was a trouble to him) and his amazing team completed the whole Insulmax installation within 5 hours. The home is quieter and you can feel the difference with the heat being retained longer. Cannot say enough great things about the very proffessional team who installed the product. Polite and friendly and so proffessional. They cleaned up and ensured we saw the thermal imaging that all the walls were correctly filled. Awesome team you have Eamonn. Great communication, team arrived promptly and were done in good time. Slightly disappointed with the clean up, there was insulation material on the window ledges and in the curtains, which had been tied up, so had to go around with the vacuum. But house feels warmer. The heating bill over the next few months will be the real test!

I would like to say how easy it was from quote to installation, even with a change of date thrown in for good measure, to work with you Eamonn and your team. I especially would like to acknowledge your installation team who worked really hard to complete the job in a streamline, efficient and coordinated way, they certainly know their job. I am sure that the insulation will make a big difference this winter to the warmth levels in our house.

Rikki was fantastic to deal with. Is amazingly knowledgeable and I wouldn’t have got it if it wasn’t for his amazing knowledge and helpfulness all round. You have one of the best sales people I’ve ever met. Honest and efficient. The installers were also very tidy, really fast and efficient. Just couldn’t get over how fast they did it all. It would have taken me weeks to do floor and ceiling myself. As for the walls. Well Re GIBBing would have been a nightmare. Thank you so much. This summer is the first summer we have needed to open the windows in the lounge as it’s now too hot! Great problem to have!!

The whole team at Insulmax were great to work with. The install team did my ceiling (flat roof) and walls all from the interior. They left the place tidier than it was before they came and did a stellar job despite a small fault with the equipment on the first day and torrential rain/gusty winds. As soon as the boys left I realised I could now sit in my lounge without the heater on and still have feeling in my fingers, which doesn't normally happen in winter! A noticeable improvement. I can no longer feel a constant chill coming off my walls. Glad to have this all done before the worst of winter comes. Thanks again guys!

Eamonn and the team recently insulated out 1950s brick veneer home. We knew that we wanted to get in done before winter, but opted to get a quote about six months beforehand. The assessor had a high degree of knowledge and we learnt more about our own home thanks to the thermal imaging assessment! We quickly agreed on a scope and a couple days later had a quote. Initially we thought we'd have to delay purchasing, as the quote was for valid for two weeks, but they were quite happy for us to lock in the quote and for it to be booked in for several months after. This meant we could pay the deposit and then have time to save for the balance. When the time came to do the insulation, the delivery was exactly as expected - on time and neatly finished without any mess. Only small tip I had was to call or text when the work was completed. I would very much recommend getting the team in to insulate your home, you won't regret it.

Our house is so much more comfortable now, no more waking up to icy morning air. We were particularly impressed with how the Insulmax team looked after our belongings by covering everything with plastic sheeting when working inside, and then cleaning up after themselves too. I was really keen to be involved in the thermal camera test part of the process, which the team were happy for me to tag along on, explaining to me what it all meant and giving me peace of mind that every nook & cranny had been filled with insulation. We are loving the overall result.

Eamonn is a total professional. We inherited a slight issue from the previous owners of our house, and Eamonn went out of his way to make sure we were looked after. He explained everything to us in words we could understand, he sourced meticulous paperwork from almost a decade ago, and he helped us in our communications with various interested parties. This was all for a previous job of his! He clearly is proud of his work, and so he should be. Highly recommended to work with. (oh, and the house was warm and snug too!)

Everyone was great to deal with including the installing team. Kept all promises including time and quote, and made it clear what had to be done before installation (insulation installed from inside walls rather than from outside). I have no hesitation in recommending Insulmax.

Very professional job, always asked permission to go inside house. Found one wall allready insulated , so adjusted quote to suit. Cleaned up afterwards. Well pleased with the result.

Our house is 100 years old and cold. We've got roof insulation but can't get underfloor, no access. Just had Insulmax insulate our exterior walls. It's already 2c warmer in the house and believe that more heat will build up and store as the house warms up. We lost no heat overnight, first time ever!! We have to say something about the excellent service that we received from Eamon and his team. Everything went exactly to plan. We were so impressed seeing how the Team worked together and just well. Really we recommend Insulmax Wellington 100%.

We have lived in our brick house for over 18 years and have always found it cold during winter especially in the bedrooms. We had updated other forms of insulation, heat pumps and curtaining but we were still cold. So we decided to insulate our outside walls to try to fix the problem. From our first phone call to Insulmax to the end of the process we had nothing but the best of service. The workmen arrived promptly at 8 am as promised to do the job and they just got on with the job and did it. They were nearly rained off whilst doing the project so they started to cleanup but the weather cleared up so they carried on and completed the job within 6.25 hours. Our house is a large 4 bedroom house built in the 1960s. We noticed the difference in warmth straight away and already we are using our heat pumps less. We would like to recommend Eamonn and his team of workers to get your job done. We thought the price was very reasonable as well. Fiona and Mike

Everyone was lovely to deal with and the result is a warmer home, which is great. Having done this once now, I wish I had known in advance what the 'end look' would be to have the insulation done from the inside vs the outside. The outside holes were nicely finished and painted, but the inside holes are concave so we have to add more plaster, re-sand, and paint. There was also a hole that wasn't filled at all. Also having it done from the inside resulted in horrible plaster dust everywhere which can't be healthy. The workers themselves had horrible coughs - presumably from the risks of their job. I would suggest to the business to show customers "after" photos of inside vs outside so that clients can make an informed decision. For any people wanting to have this done do it from the outside, it will be much less work and you won't have to move and clean your furniture.

Really pleased with the result. Had our 1890's 2 storey ice-box rental property insulated by Insulmax. The house now has a totally different feel when you walk in. The tenants cannot believe how warm the house is now. Fantastic result and really pleased we went ahead and did this.

This wall insulation has made a huge difference to our house. On a sunny Winter's day our home would go from roasting to chilly within an hour when the sun went down. Now, even though it's only early Spring, we only really need to get the heating going on the colder evenings. The team are friendly and super efficient. The bad weather made things difficult for them, so a few visits were needed, but they were able to take advantage when it eased up and make quick progress. I'm sure it would have been done in a day otherwise.

Great company to deal with. We had several delays with COVID, renovation requirements and some family diversions. Despite all this, Eamonn was very responsive, usually within hours and always had a sensible approach. The chaps who did the job knew exactly what they were about and found part of a wall that had been previously insulated. They calculated the area and deducted it from the original quote. I was amazed at how quick they did the job, 1920's bungalow, 135m2. They did the walls in 5.5 hours. That includes drilling the holes, putting the insulation in, filling the holes, sanding and priming. Very impressive. You can't see where the holes were drilled. Thoroughly recommend.

It was a great dealing with Rikki and Emmon, pretty easy process from 1st visit of Rikki till insulation. Professional tidy team coordinated and did their job well. Real test is this winter, hopefully it would be worth for money.

All our dealings with Insulmax from the beginning were very positive. Rikki was clear and helpful, as well as being quite entertaining! We were kept informed and reminded a couple of days before of their arrival. Once here, the 3 guys got to work and didn't stop. They did a great job cleaning up, it was difficult to realise they'd been here. Our first fire following the insulation, we had to open the ranchslider as it was so warm. We thoroughly recommend Eamonn and his team.

Have been in our house for 38 years with only insulation in the ceiling and more recently under the floor, but as we got older the winters seemed to get colder every year. It was time to do something about getting the house warmer by insulating the walls. Insulmax answered all our questions effectively. Insulmax provided an excellent service for my family and me. Their representative was very easy to talk to, and provided all the information I needed to make an informed decision. The quote was fully transparent, and showed good value-for-money. They completed the work in one morning, which was hugely impressive. When things didn't go quite right (I provided the wrong paint colour), they were happy to come back in to repaint the work at no extra cost (just a box of beers). Afterwards we could not see where they had drilled the holes as it blended in so well. I have waited 18 months to make this review and can confirm that the lasting quality of the work has resulted in the house transitioning from being barely livable (as our area gets extreme temperatures), to becoming a year-long comfortable home. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

From the initial quote and the couple of extra discussions/emails we've been happy. The Insulmax team turned up on the day they said they would and got straight to work. Our experience started with meeting Riki at the Wellington Home and Garden Show. I kept his details for 2 year and we were finally able to move forward with getting insulation in the external walls of our house. Riki was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the product. He answered all of our questions. The whole process from quote to install was easy and transparent. The install was quick and easy with another friendly team of people. They also answered my questions on the day of install. We noticed a difference straight away with warmer nights. Eamonn was also fantastic to deal with when it came to rescheduling the install date because of rain and payment. I highly recommend Insulmax to anyone looking for insulation.

Rikki did a great job explaining the how's and why's of Insulmax, then the guys who came out to do the job were lovely to deal with and answered all my random questions. We decided to insulate the exterior walls of our weatherboard 1957 house. Insulmax were able to do this from the inside - good timing as we needed to repaint the interior walls anyway! The holes made are very small and well-filled leaving little work required to finish the walls. The team were great, quick and helpful. Now we have experienced a winter we can feel the effects - no more ice cold walls! We only have colunm heaters in each room and they now only need to be set on low to keep the rooms warm. A great investment for our home and money well spent - thank you!

We are really happy with the job done by Insulmax Wellington in our home. The insulation, filling of holes and primer were done in one day. The team left our property in a lovely tidy condition on completion. The house feels significantly warmer, is quicker to heat. Where we previously had 2 heat pumps on, and rooms not in use closed off to improve our heating. Now one heat pump on is sufficient to heat the house with the internal doors open. We have also noticed that a reduction in noise from outside. Glad that we decided to use Insulmax to insulate our house.

Arrived on time, started straight away and were finished before lunch! Clean and tidy finish and the house feels so much warmer with the new insulation. Highly recommended!

Eamonn came to quote for us, and was great at explaining the process and communicating via email and phone. The team who insulated on the day were efficient and coped well with the access issues, and we are already noticing the difference in warmth in our home! We had a few concerns about the clean up, unfortunately - a lot of white fluff was caught by the wind and blown everywhere, and due to a misunderstanding about preparing/emptying our porch, all our shoes and coats ended up covered in fluff and dust. Also unimpressed about one of the guys smoking while on the job, including under open windows! These things were especially worrying with an asthmatic in the house.

Major health risk as we come into our first autumn. When I get up, I can no longer rely on the temperature in our bedroom to decide what to wear. It can be chilly outside, but still warm inside. Your documentation should warn customers of this! Definitely making a difference already. Great product.

I was very impressed by the way the Insulmax team tackled the job: they were straight into it, worked hard throughout the day and left the exterior looking exactly as it had been (except for the touch-up paint). Good people to work with.
