We were so happy with the results of our 24 sqm kwila deck project. From the moment I contacted Mark, until he gave us a firm quote when he went over to our house, I knew this project will turn out great. And they didn't disappoint. In just a few weeks after we decided to go ahead with the project, they started working on the job and finished it within 2 days and a half! Paul did a fantastic job with the aluminum sub-frame and Ash helped him out to finish the project. They were always on time and very approachable. Would definitely contact them again for our future projects! Highly recommended!

We can’t thank “The Decking Specialist” enough for building us the perfect deck for our newly built dream home. Glen and his team did an outstanding job brining to life our large 115 sqm Kwila deck. Glen’s knowledge and input, attention to detail and can-do attitude made this a very enjoyable experience. The deck was completed to schedule and budget with a high degree of craftmanship, always being early, worked hard and left the job site clean at the end of each day, an absolute professional. Expectations were exceeded with a last-minute design enhancement made by Glen to our stairs which really transformed the deck. We can’t get over how beautiful the deck came out and we look forward to enjoying it for many years to come. We highly recommend “The Decking Specialist” for those seeking to have their perfect deck built for them.

Glen did such a fantastic job replacing our deck and landing, I can't recommend him highly enough! Prompt response and quote from Mark, then Glen fit us in very quickly, even in tricky alert level 3. He showed up on time, was super hard working, efficient, very pleasant to deal with and he and Bev finished the job in just over a day - outstanding! What a great team and the deck looks wonderful and feels so solid now. Probably my best trades experience ever, surpassed expectations.

Paul and Ash were extremely professional, amazing knowledge base and always ready with advice, their eye for detail is fantastic, (to blend the old decking with new is so pleasing to look at). The deck looks amazing, the quality of the build is super impressive. The guys went out of their way to leave the site extremely tidy and clean. A huge “Thank you, to you both” for an amazing job and also keeping my elderly parents entertained. The build timeframe of 3 days was exceptional, we were really surprised by what has been achieved in the few days. Mark was awesome with his prompt response, site visit and quote, the price was extremely fair for the quality of the build. Outstanding service, 2 for 2 with our second project done by The Decking Specialist. Mark made arranging for a kwila runway to our front door a breeze, visiting the site, running us through the options and talking us through step by step. Ian did a fantastic job installing our two tiered kwila runway, tailoring to some rather unique land contours and fence lines. Ian's attention to detail was also immaculate, rounding out corners in the timber panels for custom cuts and checking that everything was level every couple foot of the way! I'd recommend these guys for their professionalism, their care execution and timeliness.

Glen constructed a large 65 square metre kwila deck doing an excellent job on what was a difficult project requiring him to work around irregular angles needing precision joins. His workmanship is outstanding. His ability to come up with workable solutions for tricky problems reflects the many years he spent in the building industry. We would recommend him for an excellent job, cheerfully done, on time and with a minimum of fuss.

We had some stairs that were our main entrance to our house and they were in bad shape. I didn't know if Glen would be interested as it was a small job but he came and had a look and was happy to help us. He worked efficiently was friendly and happy to answer any of our questions.
