Jeff reviewed a 100 y/o villa for us in Greenlane, Auckland. His report and insights were excellent, I walked through the inspection with him and found it a great way to understand the property to make an informed decision about buying. His report was excellent, my lawyer commented that she see's many 'tick box' building reports, but this one was through and excellent, Jeff had clearly looked in all the areas under and on top of the house.

Wasnt able to attend to inspection personally so didn't meet Jeff, but from all accounts he was very efficient and supplied a full and comprehensive report that was very easy to understand and very detailed. We hired nzhousecheck before proceeding to buy a house. The inspection took 2 hours and we were allowed to present queries during inspection without extra costs. The written report was available very next day, and it was very precise and detailed. It seemed a little expensive at first but it really helps you make a right decision.

For the second time got a building inspection from NZ House Check and both times very efficient and thorough. On second house I could compare NZ House Check building report with vendors building report which was by a well know building inspector. The difference was light and day and Geoff pulled no punches and pointed out the weathertightness issues, what materials in house were unlawful. I feel sorry for people who may rely on the other inspectors report.
