Modbox were like a breath of fresh air, after we had bad experiences with two other building companies. What we loved most about Modbox was their attention to detail and completely transparent build process. There were no surprises and we were consulted at all times. It wasn't easy for us, as we were based in Australia for the entire process. All communication was done via mobile phone, email and the fantastic app called BuilderTrend. There was a lot of technicality to our build, especially meeting strict environmental guidelines set by Council. Modbox grabbed each challenge by the horns and listened to new ideas, especially around wastewater treatment systems! As a team, we problem solved and came up with solutions that suited our budget. After design phase and Council consent, the build was professional and snappy. A very fast build indeed. We are so happy with the finish and we feel so comforted that we have a rock solid place to call home oneday. We really enjoyed working with Joe, Jimmy and the ever-efficient Kate. Gareth was a fabulous site manager too, providing daily updates and photos on the BuilderTrend app for us to see...all the way across the ditch! We are so thankful to have engaged Modbox to build our amazing cabin in Queenstown, Kingston. I would highly recommend Modbox for their quality build, beautiful finishes, attention to detail, transparency, honesty, build systems, processes, knowledge and service.
