Nick carried out alterations to our home when we were renovating our Kitchen, this involved removing some small walls and installing a new doorway and extending some existing walls. Nicks team were professional and carried out all the work without problems, any issues that arose were sorted quickly and to the satisfaction of the building inspector and me, work was completed on time and within budget. The workmanship is first class and unlike some builders cleaned up and removed all the waste from site. Nick took care of all permits and documents with the local council. We had recently sold our property and were in the market for something with character. Nick saved us from a potential money pit with a very thorough inspection, which meant we had a lot more of an idea on what to keep a close eye out for on the next place. He completed the inspections very promptly and didn't muck about releasing the report. Great guy to deal with and I will be recommending him to anyone in the market for new property.

I was looking for advice on repairing our leaky roof at home. Through a friend, I had heard of Nick's business in home inspections, and knowing he was a well respected builder, he seemed an ideal person to contact. I gave Nick a call and he was immediately accommodating to scedule a visit within days. He did a thourough inspection and then explained easily what was needed to repair. He respected I wanted to do what I could myself to keep the cost down, and clearified thoses areas, and adviced on the areas best left to professional tradespeople. He then looked around some other areas of the house that I had queries on, and gave some sound advice on improving them to better suit our ways of living. I found Nick's advice to be invaluable. From a situation I felt initially overwhelmed by, Nick gave me practical solutions to the problems, but more-so, had inspired me with the confidence to move forward. He respected our needs, and recommended appropriate tradespeople to help us achieve the outcomes efficiently. MUDFORD House – Upper Moutere When we were looking for a builder to construct a new house on our Upper Moutere property we asked around the local community and The Little Pig Building Company was recommended. We contacted Nick and immediately liked the response we received from him. We had a concept in mind and with that Nick took control and worked with us to develop the plan and arrange all the necessary approvals to enable the project’s start. Nick was at all times attentive to our needs, thoughtful in his comments, accommodating to our requests (regardless of how unusual), and amenable to our questions Every step of the way we were advised of progress, consulted on our needs and wishes, and listened to whenever we had input. Regardless of our questions and ideas about the house design were Nick gave his full attention to our concerns and provided positive feedback. Once the build began from day one Nick and his crew were nothing less than fantastic in their approach to the job and interactions with the both of us. Whenever we had a concern about something occurring in the construction process and called Nick he was immediately helpful and usually responding to us with his now unforgettable line “Don’t worry. Leave it to me” and, true to his word, he would deal with the issue in very quick fashion. At one point and about halfway through the project we decided to make a major change and where many builders would have told us our request was unreasonable given the point the build has reached Nick’s answer was merely to tell us to leave it to him and he would sort it. Which he did. The change, which required a significant input from the local Council, was made and we were able to have the house as we wanted. It is not uncommon to here of building projects where by the time the build is completed there are bad feelings on both sides. Out experience could not have been more different. The whole experience was nothing but positive. We are still in regular contact with him and consider both he and his builders as friends.
