Guy has been an incredible support for me and my family through some really challenging times over the past year. He has worked compassionately To understand our unique circumstances and has educated us with a variety of tools to help us in terms of communication, mental health support and practical coping skills. I have always felt that guy is honest, objective, fair, and empowers self-growth as much as he provides ideas for practical solutions. Guy is a professional communicator, is flexible, and I appreciated options such as meetings at his office as well as via Google Meets. I highly recommend Guy’s counselling services through conscious counselling.

Guy's counselling has profoundly helped me this year. I came to NZ originally on a holiday in January with my partner but soon after arriving we discovered that she was pregnant so decided to stay. Away from work, friends, family and soon to becoming a dad - I found myself being overwhelmed constantly and it was really starting to affect my self-esteem and my relationship. I started seeing Guy once every few weeks and bit by bit I really started to feel better and stronger. I had never been to a counsellor before and he made it so effortless to open up with and connect. He's got such a relaxed way of working and his observations and advice were always so clear, on point and practical. After some of the sessions he'd follow up with such an in depth letter which was so appreciated. I genuinely cannot thank him enough. He's helped transform a very challenging year for me into one of my best. And it's not just this year that he's helped me with - he's also made me aware of old patterns and defensive mechanisms that have been with me all my life and gave me ways to manage and transform these ways of being that has held me back. I feel like the best version of myself and I would hugely recommend Guy to anyone - but especially to young men who haven't much experience of counselling in the past.
