L.HELP (Auckland Sexual Abuse Help Foundation) is a dedicated wonderful organisation that is incredibly supportive & up to date with best practices for trauma support.
I would love to see more funding for 'HELP', it is such an important & effective service that is needed.
Every single person I have encountered over many years has been patient, kind & helpful, doing their utmost to help, which makes a significant difference to me - as I have no family support.
At times you need to be patient & wait until other people that also need help are in the queue, it is sad that there is such a need for this service to exist, due to the lack of knowledge & care in society about trauma.
