K.What a fantastic company to deal with. Mike was amazing, I was so stressed about find a courier company who could returned my Instachill to the TV Shop, I tried a couple of companies with no luck even getting someone on the phone on a Saturday morning was impossible and their website are not user friendly, I just wanted to talk to a person. I found one company who would do it but it was going to cost me an arm and a leg and they only offered an urgent 3hr service, which I didn't need. THEN .... I found Pack & Send, their web site is super easy to navigate, they give you options and a number of Depots I could drop my item at, one of which was Mike at the Avondale site. One ph call (from a stressed me by this stage) and just like that Mike gave me the reassurance that it was not a problem, it could be done easy as and even better it was not going to cost me the earth. So in not even a minute on the ph I had my solution and my stress went away. It was super easy, no mucking around, I got to talk to an actual person, Mike, who is fantastic to deal with. Down to earth and easy to talk to. I came away a satisfied customer with more money in my pocket. I also got some interesting info about the TV Shop and what to watch out for when dealing with any items that need to be returned to them. I recommend using the Avondale Pack & Send, 100% best service ever !!! Great people to deal. If I could give 100+ stars as a review I would !!! I am going to tell everyone about this great company and customer focused service you will receive.
S.In mid October 2021, in the depths of Auckland's lockdown, I found myself in a difficult position when trying to fulfill my pre-lockdown plan to migrate to Switzerland. My world suddenly got a lot more complicated. With days to go before my departure, my travel revealed she'd made a mistake with my Business Class baggage weight allocation. I suddenly had to find an alternate way to send my stuff.
The fantastic couple who run this freight business came to the rescue and I'm very grateful. Firstly, I thought seafreight would be cheapest but they showed me, in my circumstance, airfreight would be cheaper AND faster. Secondly, I had to make a judgement call to trust them and leave my stuff with them to 'pack and send' on to me as I had a plane to catch. They came through for me big time. What a relief. "Danke schon", as they say in Switzerland.
Their service was top shelf.
They showed me how to get great value for money.
They were very professional and trustworthy.
They were very responsive to my urgent needs.
S.Use this branch for my gallery business and they haven't missed a beat. From custom builds to quick turnarounds, I can't fault this family business. Well done!
J.Michael, Sharon & Nathan were absolutely fantastic !. Moving is always a challenge & you can be as prepared as you can for moving day. They are such hardworking guys & lifted things I can't even move ! Excellent at utilizing all the space in the vehicles & getting you moved with a smile. Awesome experience I'd recommend them to anyone & everyone !

S.This company is incredible - their work was faultless from our first enquiry to the end of the job. There were multiple collection and delivery points and the timing was spot on. Our things were so well loaded that absolutely nothing was damaged - not even a scratch and this was from our furniture to our art. And they were lovely people. They will always be our go to company for any job we have.
M.Ive gone from never even having met the Pack and Send Avondale team to having used their services many times in the last six months and I totally intend to keep on doing so.
They Pack and Send where others fear to tread and send some extremely delicate and valuable items with no nonsense all round the world.
They take a huge pride in packing things seriously and properly and have the networks in place to get things there faster than you would even imagine possible.

R.Mike and Sharon are simply the best. Over the years I have used numerous freight companies in 3 countries and the knowledge and professionalism Mike and Sharon showed is second to none. I asked them to pack and send 250kg of extremely valuable possessions from my deceased mother’s estate from NZ to Brisbane Australia and every singe item arrived safely and as if had never been moved. They were extremely competitive on price and made a seemingly difficult job so easy. Thank you Mike and Sharon you are the A team.

I had to get an electric scooter from Auckland to Nelson b4 Xmas for my son in 3 days. Sharon went out of her way to make this happen! Her mother in law picked up the scooter, her husband packaged and made it fit into the right sized box to ensure it made it b4 Xmas... and it did!

Sending four boxes of personal items from Avondale to Sydney back in July/August after the Auckland/NSW border was lifted. Arranged for the boxes to be delivered to Sydney local Pack & Send in Seven Hills after Customs clearance for pick-up. Very satisfied with all… Very professional, efficient, reliable, customer friendly with smiles.
G.I had to send a painting to Ch/Ch - OMG what fantastic service Michael and Sharon were concerned that my packaging was maybe a bit poor, they tidied it up labelled it all with lashings of good will and humour. Give me hands on business owners any time.

The item was a vintage cast iron pot belly, not only was it very heavy but it was also fragile and awkwardly shaped. Mike worked with a difficult seller to arrange collection and packed it in a custom crate! Sharon emailed me shortly after with the tracking details. Thanks again.

P.I went to Pack and Send Avondale when I was in Auckland to enquire about sending some antique items back to Christchurch. I dealt with Michael who was very professional and friendly and went above and beyond what I was expecting.
He was very respectful of the 3 items I was looking to send and realised that they were very important to me and treated them accordingly.
He showed me how they would actually pack the items and assured me they would be safe.
The items arrived the following week with Mainfreight who were also very courteous and phoned to advise items had arrived in Chch and then the driver called when on the way to my place to deliver them.
I work for NZ Post and a colleague I work with was with me when I opened the boxes and we were both so impressed with the packaging and care that my items were given.
I would not hesitate to recommend these guys to anyone wanting to send anything around NZ.
