I've only just started coming here and love it, Nicky is an amazing instructor she gets you to push yourself hard. You always leave feeling great, I definitely highly recommend!!

I have been to a few classes at Westward Cycle now and absolutely love it. I'm not a terribly athletic person so was nervous before going, but they are so welcoming. The instructors help you get set up on the bikes, and give advice for adjusting the workout to your level. The studio is so well appointed, with decor and nice touches like having hairties and basic beauty supplies available to freshen up. There's a real community and friendly spirit which I enjoy

My sister and I were looking for something new and so happy to have stumbled across Westward. I ordinarily love boxing but was pleasantly surprised with how much I loved the classes, the instructors, the atmosphere and of course vibing in the dark. We signed up immediately after Nikis class and have been hooked since. I have such a busy schedule and I find that this is the only time where I feel like I can focus on me. My only gripe (if I can call it that) is that there are limited new bikes, so it works on a first in first serve basis. If you have a busy schedule or finish work a bit later and are making it to the gym on time but don't have friends to reserve a spot, chances are...you will miss out on a new bike experience because they fill so quickly. Other than that, I can truthfully say that I haven't enjoyed working out this much in a while. In embracing the cliche, it has become in many ways like therapy for me!

Summary:
Gymtimidation: 0/10
Parking: 8/10
Facilities: 10/10
Instructors: 20/10
If the only thing I can fault Westward on is parking, it's more a sign of my laziness than it is a poor reflection on anything offered here. This is the first fitness spot I've been to where I've not experienced a single bit of gymtimidation; You're welcomed from the moment you step in the door, helped with initial bike setup and lead through the dimly lit ride.
Love the constant variety from the instructors bringing their own unique personality, grit and energy to their classes- and of course, playlist.
Equal parts physically challenging, mentally uplifting and soul-filling. At the risk of sounding like I've drank a cup too many of kool-aid- it's more than just a spin class.

My happy place. An inclusive team environment where you can lose yourself in the music, enjoy the energy, set your personal goals and improve with every class. Every instructor brings a different flavour and every rider, a different journey.

I'm not a huge fan of exercise but I'm so grateful to have stumbled across Westward! The classes were difficult to start with but you get over it quickly once your body adjusts to the bikes after the first 2 or 3 rides so it's worth sticking it out if you're new to spin. Sarah, Shawn, Sam and Nicky are all super helpful and make you feel at home. They all have their own unique style when instructing so each class is always fun and challenging. I've been going for a little over a year now and it's the only thing I've ever stuck with. Great space and facilities, and even greater people - give it a go!

I’ve never found a workout class that I’ve ever really loved or stuck with and I’m coming up to 100 rides at Westward soon in less than a year. I love how wonderful all the instructors are, super friendly, welcoming and non-judgey. Annabelle is a great motivator as the team captain and all round good pup. Every class seems different, and I never feel bored. I’ve also never felt like I’ve wanted to cancel, if anything, I am hugely disappointed when I need to postpone a class. Westward is a really important part of my weekly routine now and I don’t know what I would do without them!

LOVE this studio! Sarah and Shawn are awesome instructors and they've really created this amazingly welcoming place and super fun classes. I never ever thought I'd enjoy spin, it always sounded so intense! But this is a great workout AND enjoyable. They make you feel like you're apart of this awesome little community when you walk in and leave looking forward to going again!

Westward Cycle is by far my favorite gym in Auckland, although it’s more like a community than just a gym. Sarah, Shawn and the crew are so welcoming, knowledgeable and make the classes fun & challeneging. Annabelle is always there to welcome you. Here you on. Highly recommend!

I’ve been coming here for a while now and can honestly say it’s the most fun exercise I’ve done! All the instructors are great and slightly different which keeps it interesting! And such a welcoming team in the studio - a hard but great workout!
