L.Kudos to Kimi! We first met Kimi 3yrs ago when she was teaching with another company. We then began some private lessons as my daughter enjoyed the experience of dance that Kimi created for her. We have recently been doing private lessons for lyrical and contemporary competition pieces. My daughter’s goals are to improve her choreography skills and Kimi has been superb at exploring the ideas my daughter has then making options for her to choose. Her style is creative and unique. It has been a very collaborative experience. When our lessons moved to Zoom, Kimi created a professional space to work from that allowed a very true to in person productive experience to take place. Personally, this impressed me. I have found Kimi very professional to deal with and I feel that she handles all situations with respect and care.
B.Kimi’s kind and gentle nature makes her the perfect person to teach dance to children. She is so encouraging and enthusiastic and it is clear that she loves sharing her extensive knowledge of dance with her pupils of all ages and abilities. Kimi is a clever and talented choreographer and our daughter has enjoyed being challenged by her with her contemporary solo. Thank you Kimi for all that you do for the children of Marlborough - you are a star! ⭐️

T.Kimi has been teaching my daughter Contemporary and taught her a contemporary dance for the competitions… kimi is amazing, her teaching techniques are so very different to what the girls have been doing over the past years… she is inspiring, she brings the emotion into dance, the love, passion… I found that my daughter connected to her style her confidence grew over the time and her technique changed she emerged into her dance and got lost in a good. One of the first things I noticed was the warmup with the students making sure their muscles and body and mind were always warm before hand. Kimi’s communication was very good she made sure that my daughter understood what she was meaning in every movement, Kimi connected with the dancer on there level, she danced with them…she would ask them how they feel how they felt about there dancing, what they would like, always interacting with the student … brilliant teacher/coach if anyone is looking to do contemporary dance look no further than Kimi from Mindset and Dance on grove AMAZING 💗
