L.How was dance central? It’s fantastic. Mrs Iggy is extremely patient, a great teacher, and an excellent teacher of her teachers.
Two years ago I started with dance central knowing almost nothing about dance. I wanted to try something different to get out of a mental funk. Dance was always something I was interested in and something I never tried before, as a boy there was a stigma for dancing.
I never felt any of that with mrs Iggy in her adult dance classes. Still going after two years. I have improved my physical strength, flexibility and mental health. So many new friends and experiences I will keep with me for life!
Dance Central is Highly recommended for any adult or your young children!
C.Our daughter joined Dance Central at the beginning of 2017 doing Ballet, and absolutely loved it - so much so that she started Jazz this year alongside Ballet! Ms Iggy and Carissa are amazing teachers, who are professional and make dance fun! keep up the awesome work Dance Central!

She is such a talented teacher and choreographer and makes the lessons fun and enjoyable yet still structured and rewarding. She truly is an inspiration to me and has taught me so much that I'm forever grateful for, and has made me the dancer I am today. All the teachers are extremely dedicated and passionate about dance and I would recommend any aspiring dancer to learn at Dance Central!

We have only been with them for under a year but in that time I have seen my daughter's confidence grow so so much all thanks to the encouragement she gets from all the wonderful teachers at the studio. Here I've learned Jazz and Contemporary as an adult and reconnected with ballet after stopping in high school. Dance Central nourishes the dancer's soul. H.Carissa Yeoman (Director) is an inspirational teacher and talented choreographer. She has been involved with my dance tuition from a young age, and the knowledge and passion she has instilled in me has been invaluable in my transition to full-time dance training and the professional world. I am excited about the opening of Dance Central and know it will be a fantastic place for young dancers to be learning!
M.My daughter joined dance central when we moved to Taupo in June. We have had nothing but great welcoming and friendly teachers & parents. Carissa has everything so well organised and you are always well informed. A special shout out to Miss Tess. You have made Sophie feel very welcome and she looks forward to her class every week! C.Carissa Yeoman (Director/Principle) and the other teachers at Dance Central Taupo are all so passionate and talented, their focus is on the students and the love of dance while maintaining a fun and welcoming environment. The skills and values I learnt while being taught by Carissa Yeoman will definitely stick with me in the future and have made me the person I am today. Dance Central Taupo is no doubt the perfect place for any aspiring dancer to learn, grow and develop a passion for dance.
C.Such a fun place to learn to dance. A welcoming and inspiring environment where anyone of ANY age and ability is encouraged and taught, by such lovely teachers, to dance. I have loved watching my 2 daughters enjoyment at every class and see them grow in confidence as dancers.
P.Results speak louder than words and the studio achieves high results in more than one area of Dance. My daughter Grace can not get enough of her time at the studio. She loves her classes and the people she meets. She continues to do well at both exams and competition work not only because of her own dedication but also because of the support and passion of her teachers.
