Denise has been teaching my daughter for a number of years. When we moved dance schools we were so impressed with the technical knowledge and the way she explained things. My daughter improved amazingly and continues to grow into a confident, skilled dancer. Denise's calm, caring style keeps classes enjoyable and yet she has continued to push my daughter to improve her technique and performance skills. Productions are wonderfully polished and I've never before been involved with such a calm production environment. Denise Walker Dance Academy has been an awesome place to love to dance.

Miss Denise is by far the most attentive and professional dance teacher I've ever come across. Our two daughters love her classes and learn so much. They love performing in the shows and the photos on her site say it all. Denise was recommended to me by a friend as the best ballet teacher on the Kapiti Coast and she's certainly living up to this reputation. She is fully qualified for a start (not all dance teachers are), has years of experience behind her, has a strong focus on correct technique and injury prevention, as well as having a kind and relatable nature.
