After being to 2 other dentists with an anxious child, we were recommended to go to Alpers from a friend. Words cannot express how simple and easy they made everything for us, I have one very happy and confident daughter now. They even gave her a gift at the end. No unnecessary work was done/recommended and the pricing is very reasonable, compared to other experiences recently. Thank you all so much.

I first met with the Alpers team for routine dental for my three young children. I was so impressed with their level of care and communication that I revisited to discuss what could be done for my 9 year old son's dental overcrowding and severe overbite. Alpers offer a functional dental approach - which also looked into how our son was breathing - and created a plan with our son's buy-in and compliance (including an appealing reward system!). The team have always communicated very clearly with my son, and their level of care has consistently been well above expectations. I couldn't more highly recommend Alpers for orthodontic work and routine dental.

Having developed a couple of 'Shark Teeth' with her adult front teeth coming down without her baby teeth falling out, my daughter needed to see the public health dentist here in Hamilton to see if they could be removed as one had started to deteriorate. Being the strong willed girl she is, she was determined not to let the dentists near her teeth and we left with the teeth still in place, and her anxiety of dentists increased ten fold. Despite the practice being in Auckland, we booked an appointment with the team at Alpers on the back of a referral from a friend. From the first interaction, the experience was positive. We were booked in to see the dentist seven days later, and didn't have to wait for months to see them. Upon arriving at their practice, my daughter was made to feel comfortable. Our dentist, Nada, established an immediate rapport. She gradually took her through the process, keeping her calm all the way through and making my daughter feel in total control throughout. All of this meant that what I thought would be an hour and a half of tears, anguish, pain and further anxiety of dentists, ended up being a mere half hour. Furthermore, my daughter actually giggled as Nada carefully removed her front teeth. The Alpers team are professional and clearly care for their customers. Suffice to say, we will be back again in the future, even if it means we have to endure Auckland traffic. Thank you Nada - you have no idea how much this positive experience has shaped the dentist experience for my daughter for what will probably be the rest of her life.

Following a couple of bad surgery experiences, I was very anxious about my tooth removal. I was so delighted with the comfort and ease of the procedure. He talked me through the entire procedure, step-by-step, and ensured I was comfortable at all times. I would highly recommend Darren and the team at Alpers.

As a person in my early twenties with crowded teeth, I was quite apprehensive about correcting them. My first consultation at Alpers was stress free, straight forward and I received a proposed treatment plan, which surprisingly required no additional extraction of teeth! I had a root canal, wisdom teeth out, my palate expanded using expander plates and have had my braces for about 6 months now. The results so far have been great! Just like everyone else says, the staff are amazing; warm, friendly, professional and make you feel completely at ease. I actually look forward to my checkups and I can't recommend Alpers highly enough!

Our family has had three of our children having orthodontic treatment with Alpers over a period of more than ten years. Very pleased that we searched for someone who provided a method of teeth straightening without extraction. The results have been great, and the payment schedule much appreciated. What is exceptional though, is the standard of care we have received and the consistent friendly and professional manner of the staff we have had contact with. (And over the years that has been a fair number, for a variety of services). While I'm looking forward to the day when I have no more travelling into Newmarket for teeth related excursions, I'm glad that Alpers are at the end of that journey until it comes.

My kids are all grown up now but they started with Alpers when they were still at primary school and their teeth are beautiful now. We thought we were just going for the standard treatments but they had specialist therapists to help with other little problems before they became big problems. We paid in regular installments which meant the last couple of years were "free". We had our latest visit today so that my eldest could have her wisdom teeth reviewed, she's horrified that they have to be taken out but definitely wants Alpers to do the work. The staff have always been lovely, patient and kind. Thoroughly recommended.

From my first appointment in 2013, right up until this very day Alpers have known exactly what to do to uncover my best smile, and they have done just that! The staff are all so friendly, well trained and throughout whatever dental treatments you are undergoing they are very considerate. The atmosphere of the dental clinic is bright and calming, so it proves hard to be scared of the dentist! Overall Alpers is awesome, and I would most definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone!

My 9 year old Daughter has this to say: I had a really scary experience at another dentist's and we tried 3 times to do a filling but I was so afraid we always had to leave. My mum and dad were worried i would have to go to hospital and be sedated. A friend of theirs told them to try a dentist that only works on kids and they found Dr Nada and even though she worked a long way away from where we live we decided to give it a go. I was more afraid than ever when we got to the new dentists room and i had a really hard time letting Dr Nada do her work but she was really patient and nice and showed me all of the scary instruments that were going to be used and explained how she would use them. my dad stayed in the room and helped to keep me calm especially when the sleepy juice was put on my gums. that was the worst part, and is what i was most afraid of but Dr Nada was so good I hardly felt it happen. Then she did the filling and it was easy. Dr Nada is going to do another filling soon and i am not worried at all.

I've been to a number of dentists, and thus far, nothing has come close to the care, quality and understanding I experienced at Alpers. The literal work on my teeth was gentle and felt highly experienced and trained. Unlike some dentists, I felt as if the health of my teeth and what it was that I personally needed came first, not a desire to make money on fillings where they perhaps weren't needed. I couldn't recommend Alpers more highly!

Gone are the days when the prospect of Orthodontics meant embarrassment and teasing. My kids actually want to go to Alpers! Even the child who doesn't need plates/braces has tried construct an argument as to why they might help her. From the minute you walk in to the stylish (yet not pretentious) premises, you are taken care of. The staff are so friendly and informative. Their compassion towards children is amazing. Prices are extremely reasonable and payment is easy. My son is extremely happy with results to date (as are we). I have recommended Alpers to many people and will continue to do so in the future.

The service at Alpers Dental is great and it provides various alternative methods of treatment to achieve what the client wants whether it's for getting you a perfect white smile, straightening teeth or even helping with care and maintenance of your mouth. The staff at Alpers are all qualified and trained to perfection and clearly explain everything to you in a way you understand and of course are always lovely and kind. Also they have hygienists, dentists and orthodontists so you can get everything you need for your mouth all in one place which is brilliant! I highly recommend Alpers Dental!

Alpers was recommended to me by a close friend and I am so glad they did. Alpers is not just your regular dentist, their premises are bright, clean and colourful and the staff are warm, friendly and welcoming. I never feel rushed when I attend appointments and everyone I have met is happy to answer any questions yet they still manage to run on time (perfect for someone like me who pops out during a lunch break). Parking is easy and they offer an interest free payment plan on othordontic work. Highly recommended for everyone - Alpers has managed to make going to the dentist a plesant experience!

I am a 21 year old girl and the thought of getting braces was a little daunting as seeing as most people have them during their early teens, I felt it was a little late for me. However I can highly say that I am so grateful and pleased that I chose Alpers to help fix my smile. Individually catered to you, the team at Alpers are amazing in their approach. Both child and adult friendly (so no matter what your age :) ) the staff make the experience all the more worth it. The initial use of Orthotropics, which uses plates to create room within the jaw instead of pulling teeth, has corrected my overcrowding and allowed me to gain a broad smile. I then had braces applied, which have straightened my teeth perfectly, and were not all that bad to have on! After receiving the news that I will be getting my braces off shortly I would just like to say a big thank you to all who have been involved in my transformation. It has been great getting to know you all and I look forward to seeing the end result soon. My brother and I have been to Alpers for almost 4 years and the service they provide for us is absolutely wonderful. I really enjoy going there as all the staff members show such good manners and take good care in fixing my teeth. Whats even better is the free wifi that they provide for patients to kill off some time from waiting. Alpers would always remind me for my next appointment through text which I find very convenient. There was one time when the computer for patients to sign in was not working but the receptionist knew who I was and helped me to sign in. From that experience, I thought how professional this dental clinic was to have such skilled and caring people working there. I would recommend Aplers to anyone looking for a great service. :)

She felt welcomed and above all, that she was perfect as she was - not a 'rabbit' as some of her friends suggested. Nick and the vibrant team at Alpers were referred to me by mark 'normal' dentist. Nick transformed my bite and smile. They have since gone onto my daughter's teeth. Their Hygienist services are very competitively price and visiting Alpers is always a pleasure which isn't a usual comment for dentists! I found the pricing way better than others I've heard about plus their approach isn't as harsh as others I've seen and seem to work quicker. For me in Orewa the travel to Newmarket is well worth it and will always recommend Alpers.

I would just like to thank Rachel Aylward. She is the best. After having numerous experiences with dentists, Ive always walked away feeling like I wasn't a priority but this time I was respected and felt cared for. I have never come across someone so positive and comforting. My son had tongue tie so I was very concerned to how he would be treated and cared for. As soon as I got talking to Rachel it was so nice to have someone so supportive and understanding. I was extremely pleased by her help when I had to feed my son, this was great service.
