I cannot recommend Dr Michael Kan and his team highly enough. He made the time to phone me to discuss my options and after an initial visit emailed a concise treatment plan with relevant information and itemized fees . I had Periodontal Deep Scaling treatment with Dr Kim . Michael gave me a tooth implant which also involved initial bone graft and soft tissue grafts. I was very happy with the final cosmetic result. He and his team not only have great technical skills but also put you at ease and are gentle.

After 3 years of using Invisalign (with another dentist) my front teeth were straight but very worn out. Michael was recommended to me and I checked out some before and after photographs on the website. I was convinced this was the right place for me and I arranged an appointment to discuss 'natural looking' veneers. I ended up with 6 on the upper front teeth and I'm so incredibly pleased with the results. My teeth look natural and this is what I was aiming for! Michael, John and Chelsea are a great team and the price was within my budget and affordable. Thank you very much - AM

I can't emphasize enough how professional is Dr. Michael, he is literally the most gentle, trustworthy dentist that I have ever met in my life. 13 years ago, he did crown for my front teeth with Lava, so natural, so beautiful and hardly ever anyone could guess it is not my own teeth. I emailed him from Dubai and he immediately recognized me and kindly responded to me with so much care even he knew I am going to visit another dentist, still he didn't hesitate to give me all information I required. After 13 years I am so excited that I am coming back to New Zealand in Sep 2021, and he is in my top priority list to be visited first to appreciate of him again in person and second to do full checkup, hygienist, whitening & see if anything else needs to be done. Dentist for life..................... Always appreciate of him and his team.

I highly recommend this dental clinic. I had my front tooth (cap) come out during lockdown level 3,with great urgency I went to a dentist who basically said he couldn't do anything for me and overly charged me for gluing it back in crooked and sticking out. Dr Kan was empathetic and genuinely cared. With his great knowledge,skills and passion in his profession, he has given me back my confidence to smile. Your work is greatly appreciated. Thank you

It all started with an accident (in alert level 3)which left my son's both front teeth broken and the whole family traumatised. Seeking advice from Michael on the phone he gave me all the necessary information, tirelessly answered all my questions and settled the fears we had in our head, fitted my son in for the first appointment the clinic could do, organised soothing aids for me to pick up to make my son in less pain, and his team efficiently fixing the teeth as planned on the day, putting a lovely smile on his face. I truly appreciate Michael and the team's effort. Obviously no one wants to go to a dentist, but I will definitely go here if I need a dentist again. Michael and Elizabeth both are caring dentists I felt at ease given this was our first time being in deep teeth trouble to have to seek help from a dentist and was quite traumatised. Thank you for explaining what they are going to do during and after the procedure. Professional and first class service from the great team working there.

Michael was fantastic. Needed some dentistry done on my son, as he had a noticeable white stain on his front tooth. After seeing our local dentist, she was unable to fix the problem. Michael was able to fix the tooth effected by a calcium deposit. Will and I are delighted with how William's tooth looks now.We feel so happy to use his services again and highly recommend his practice.

My experience at cosmetic dental was a great one, I am very nervous about getting injections, so to my relief Michael was excellent. He very quickly put me at ease and the injection was painless, which is something I have never experienced going to the dentist before!!! Dr. Michael Kan has been looking after my teeth for the last 5 years. I had a really bad problem with my gums which had been treated by several doctors before Michael but without much success. Only with Dr. Kan I had a noticeable improvement, and after every treatment I felt myself better and better. Michael's hands create magic! Apart from regular scaling I had a bridge and a pair of implants put by Dr. Kan. And every time with excellent results! The highest professionalism and the most friendly service make my every visit to his clinic a really enjoyable experience. Michael is literally the most trustworthy, professional dentist i've ever had. As a young lad with veneers, it can be a stressful experience thinking about the dentist and having work done. But Michael is honest, efficient, he considers your budget, puts you at ease, and only gives you the treatment he really thinks is necessary. A dentist I know i'll be returning to for a long time.

I am an overseas dentist and I worked during 4 months for Dr Kan as his dental assistant. As his colleague I can guarantee that he holds a wide knowledge in all the specialties of dentistry, with an accurate and precise working style as well as achieving immaculate and perfect results. As a professional, he is amazing, outstanding and a totally reliable.

After doing some research into orthodontic work I went to see Michael at Cosmetic Dental. As an adult considering braces I was quite nervous. Thankfully Michael put me at ease and I felt more than confident he was the right person to do the job. The process of straightening my teeth took a little over a year and half and didn't involve any teeth being removed (which was great!). Michael and his team were always very professional, welcoming and patient with my constant asking of "when do you think they will be ready to come off?" When the braces did come off I was more than happy with the result and even now after a year, people still comment on my teeth and how good they look! I would definitely recommend speaking with Michael if you're considering straightening your teeth or having any dental work done.

What a great dental group. I came to Dr Kan to receive an invasalign treatment and less than a year later I have a perfect smile, all stress and pain free. All of the staff at the practice were very friendly and made an effort to remember each and every patient which goes a long way.I highly recommend cosmetic dental!

I have just finished getting the perfect smile with Invisalign. Michael and Beckie have been amazing to deal with over the last year and a half. I am currently 32 weeks pregnant and broke my front tooth. The dentist I saw was so good and made me feel comfortable. It was the first painless dentist appointment I have been too.

I have been a patient of Dr Kans since 1996. Before treatment my teeth were full of amalgam fillings and chips missing. Now I can smile confidently as the amalgam has been replaced and chips filled in. We even have our 9 year old son under the of Dr Kan who has corrected the cross bite and overbite and it has just taken a few months to see dramatic results. The clinic is modern and I love the fact that Dr Kan seems to have his finger on the pulse when it comes to having the latest technology in dentistry.

I had done my teeth whitening 8 months ago in Cosmetic Dental in Remuera. Excellent services, friendly people, particularly impressed by Dr. Kan's professional presentation! Now I wonder how nice it would be if I could talk to people as Dr. Kan does in English! It was a very pleasant experience. Thank you Dr. Kan.

After an unfortunate accident, my two front teeth crowns had to be replaced. I could not recommend Michael enough. He possesses such incredible skills and attention to detail - his work is immaculate. Thank you so much Michael for everything. I'm going back to the States with a Hollywood smile! :)

Definitely a very good dentist like you can go and fully trust. Honest, cost minded, and will provide with full attention and the correct care needed. All the staff is very professional and nice, and you feel straight away comfortable. If you hesitate, dont: Go to this one, you wont be disappointed.
