Really impressed with this dental clinic. From the 1st phone call to be quickly fitted in for my first appointment on the same day, to being warmly greeted with 'it's your 1st appointment, welcome' to meeting Dr Aaron who did a fantastic job with my filling. Thank you, My existing dentist was going to make me wait for over 2 weeks. I'm glad, because of that I found this clinic. Highly recommended and yes, I will be making this my regular dentist from now on and hope to rope in the rest of my family and friends.

Couldn't rate DentalCare West highly enough. After walking in absolutely petrified after having years of horrifying orthodontic treatment done on my mouth in earlier years, i was welcomed by super friendly receptionist and dental assistant. To have Dr Zeb put me at ease and extract my tooth with zero pain or discomfort even in the days following, felt like a miracle! Never thought it possible. My wife and I went to the dentist for a regular check up and x-ray. We both needed work done so we made another appointment for the following week. My wife had to have two wisdom teeth out so was abit nervous. We found the Dentalcare West environment so nice and non clinical. Just had tooth extraction done by Dr James and I was petrified as last dentist visit at a different place was a horror story but Dr James and his lovely assistant were incredible and talked me through all the things necessary. The whole process was so easy and he took on board my fears and made sure I was feeling comfortable and at ease the whole time. Had had the best dental experience today. Dr Allen and his assistant were so gentle and caring. Walked out with a big smile on my face and no longer scared of the dentist. The receptionists were so friendly too!

Very happy with work carried out by DentalCare West. I have had a root canal and crowns done by Dr Scott and Dr Alex and both carried out their work to a high professional standard. I was so very 'scared' to see the hygienist because I have had only bad experiences and pain since the murder house as a child. BUT Rochelle was so gentle in manner and technique - I honestly didn't feel any pain. The whole experience was almost pleasant. Definitely recommend Rochelle if you are fearful about visiting a hygienist.

I learned a lot of things on how to effectively take good care of my teeth at home during the check up. Everything was explained to me clearly by the dentist before the procedure I had chosen was performed. The service was excellent and I was given the chance to choose from a variety of schemes on how would I want my dental treatment will proceed. The staff members were so professional and accommodating and I would definitely recommend this dental care services provider to those people who are looking for affordable and quality dental care services.

Finally have been able to get my son's braces put on last month after having a free orthodontic assessment and plan put together last year. Never thought I would be able to afford to get my son's teeth fixed but their prices compared to other dentist are more affordable and there are no hidden costs everything has been included in the plan and interest free which is awesome.The staff are friendly and professional and I feel at ease knowing we are getting the best possible care. They also have one of the nicest dental practices I have seen. Highly recommend

I had my braces done at the DentalCare West Clinic and had such a great experience with my Dentist, Dr Inah especially with the amount of professionalism she provides to her patients. Every time I go to their Clinic, the staff are always friendly and easy to approach! Excellent service!

Glen Eden is lucky to have such a well staffed modern building with up to date facilities and helpful staff. Highly recommend Dr Alex Wu - especially if you are scared or nervous about going to dentists. For the first time in my life I dont feel afraid and look forward to going to a dentist instead of waiting till I'm in agonizing pain that cant be ignored. My experience was beyond my expectations I went to Dr Aaron for my First visit and I would say Dr Aaron is a very Professional Dentist everyone is entitled to their views But I Like the service that Dental Care West offers my First visit was an Consultation and it was Free and I got treated with dignity & Respect at all times when I went in for my first Procedure it was an Excellent experience from that first experience I now use Dental Care West now and I will continue to use their service to the poor raters the 1-4 stars we as Consumers do have Rights so I would suggest to the 1-4 Rating people to talk with the Clinic & their Reception and try and resolve your poor experience by talking with the Dentist's I know they will be Happy to help you with your issue I didn't look at the Reviews before going there I made the correct decision as I was treated well by the Reception staff & Dr Aaron I also had an Hygienist Clean with their Hygienist that was Excellent as well I don't agree that they want money I say they want to help you Keep your teeth for Life it includes caring for your teeth at home as well by Brushing twice daily & Flossing Once a day every day meaning continue to do this always as the Dentist says not Brushing & Flossing everyday will mean if you get Fillings it won't last for as long as 14 years as the Fillings have a minimum of 5 years that it can last for we were told that the Fillings can last for around a maximum of 7 years if you visit Regularly for a Checkup & Hygiene Clean and Brush & Floss at Home the Fillings can last for around 14 years given you visit the Dentist at least twice a year for a Checkup & a Hygiene clean I also like the Fact that they do Accept Finance payments this makes Dental Care more accessible & more affordable I would advise people to don't take the poor ratings from other people for the service it's their opinion & their view I would suggest visit them and find out for yourselves because you may be treated differently by the Dentists, then your view may differ from their views so just ignore their views & go and visit them and see their service for yourselves. Professional & friendly service I will be going back there.

I had a great experience with Dr. Elvira at DentalCare West today. One of my molars had deteriorated from the inside from an old filling, and a chunk of that tooth had broken off. I have a bad fear of needles and the repair required novocaine, and they were extremely patient and understanding with me, and helped to calm me down before injecting the novocaine. The overall procedure lasted a little under an hour, and they ended up filling in another cavity on that same side while I was in the chair. They were patient, friendly, and knowledgeable, and the new facility is really great. They even have TVs on the ceiling so you can watch tv while they work on you!

I was seen promptly at Dentalcare West, just when I needed it - when I had "teeth with great pain". The preliminary examination was free yet very thorough and carefully done. An appointment was made in short order. It was not cheap but was professional and I elected to spread the payment over 2 months, which was free of extra charges and with no interest or other fees. I can’t speak highly enough of my experience at this practice! After being told to do my homework by other orthodontists and dentists who couldn’t take on my case of a severely impacted canine [adult] that is growing in the wrong direction, I came across DCW on the web and read very good reviews. I went into my consultation so nervous, desperate and defeated but Dr Aaron Lee was so kind, professional, and empathetic towards my case. At first I thought he was too young to be an orthodontist but this actually made him more easy to talk haha! He made me understand it all and outlined my options and what plan of action to employ which was missing from other orthodontists. This really made the world of difference in giving me a new, better and brighter outlook on the whole thing. I felt supported to give this a good fight in order to get the smile I want. You can't really ever say you love going to the dentist but I was so pleased I went to DentalCare West and had Dr Inah look after me. The new premises are modern with plenty of light and good views, Dr Inah offered that I could organise payment over time, and I was impressed with her professionalism and care, explaining each process to me. It was a great advantage to have the crown made on premises so a crown could be completed in one appointment. I live in the city centre so catching the train to Glen Eden was an easy hassle free way to get there as you can see DentalCare West from the train platform. I would happily recommend DentalCare West to anyone.

I am 68 and my teeth were falling apart. I knew something drastic had to be done. I researched dental surgery costs in Thailand, Russia, Ukraine, Germany and other places as well as New Zealand. I set up a spreadsheet to calculate currency exchange, airfares, hotels, taxis, food, etc. to compare the costs. And although some of the quotations I received were very attractive, how could I factor in the risk. The risk of price increases. I imagined being strapped into the chair with the dentist standing over me with the drilling buzzing ready to drill into my jawbone for an implant while he explained that the cost didn't include anaesthetic. Did I want anaesthetic at extra cost? Or were the ceramic crowns I insisted on actually put in my mouth or replaced with something cheaper? And can you really put the crowns on the implants just a few days after putting in the implants? With these, and other worrying risks, I still had to take time away from my business if I was going overseas and I couldn't get any certainty about how long I would need. Some told me that I couldn't travel for a few weeks after getting the implants. Some said they could fit crowns and implants at the same time while others said I needed months between getting the implants and getting the crowns placed on the implants. I didn't know for how long I would be away or how many trips would I need to get the job done? My spreadsheet was by this time a mess of confusion! I decided I couldn't chance the risks or take the time from my work so I began looking at getting it done in Auckland. Sure, everyone I approached could do it, but their prices were frightening! And when I looked more closely, many did just the crowns while I went somewhere else for the implant surgery and that was charged separately. Just as desperation was ready to overcome me, I noticed an advertisement by Dentalcare West challenging anyone thinking of getting work done overseas. I made an appointment and went to meet with Dr Scott Waghorn. I found him to be a very direct, no mucking about sort of guy. He showed instant understanding of my dilemna and gave me pricing for all the work, including the surgery, that was almost as good as the overseas prices, but without the uncertainties or time away from my business. Now that the work has been completed, I'm so VERY PLEASED that I didn't attempt getting it done overseas because it has taken several weeks. Scott did all the dental and surgery work. He is fast, sensitive, and expert. He has all the necessary equipment and skills. His business and staff buzz with the culture of professionalism that he has imbued. I am very pleased to recommend Dentalcare West and Dr Scott Waghorn to my family and friends.

I had a bad experience a few yeas back with a Dentist that I had been using for a number of years and it was such a nice surprise to visit Dentalcare West receive such a very good professional service right from the Receptionists through to the Dentists and their Assistants I just want you all to know we appreciate the work that you all do to make the visit to the dentist not a scary thing

Amazingly professional and super lovely. I was very nervous at the major work i had to have done but it was completely pain free and a very positive experience! Highly reccomended!
