Great experience at the Ti Rakau Dental Centre. As soon as you walk in the door you can tell it has great modern facilities and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I saw DR Aisha, who I can say without a doubt is the best dentist I have visited. Her workmanship was excellent and she was very thorough explaining along the way and ensuring I was always comfortable. She is also a great human being and has knack of making you feel at ease and relaxed. Will highly recommend to anyone who needs to visit a dentist and will keep going back for sure.

The team at Ti Rakau Dental were amazing from day 1 with my son having his braces put on. They always created a calm & professional environment for every visit as he was quite nervous about the whole process. After a few months he looked forward to the visits and we were always given the times that worked well for us. An amazing team to work with. My son had his braces removed this week and we are so pleased with the beautiful results. Thanks again everyone, we look forward to our next visit with you. 🤗

Had a great experience at this surgery. The dentist was very professional and also very caring. He is the first dentist that I have had in my mouth for the last 25 years that I would sing praises about. So good dentistry would recommend. I have to go back after the lockdown and have no problems doing it. I was also so impressed with the last surgery done, I dropped of a Black Forest Chocolate Cake to the Dental Team a couple of days later. Best Dental Practice, I can remember Joe Downie Keep the good work up!!

I'm not the easiest person to have in the chair, I have panic attacks with dentists. Since coming to Ti Rakau dental centre I can actually drive there in my own, a little nervous but on my own. Dr Karen Lim and her assistant just rock, they have never made me feel silly. They are just amazing l. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I am very fortunate to have had the best dental experience ever as I faced a holiday period with a tooth that had lost its crown. Thank you Rachel for fitting me in on a public holiday, you and the team are rockstars!

They looked after me and my family for the past 5 years especially Dr. Ellen which I am grateful of. However, I do want to give feedback on my experience with the South African lady who I was not pleased with. She is unfriendly and quite abrupt on the phone. We had a hard time understanding each other and she kept probing me for more information about my appointment when I simply requested an appointment with Ellen to check out a tooth which felt an issue but I didn't know what it really was- as the dentist is the expert and they would know best right? I work in customer service as well and I would like to kindly ask that she needs to be mindful of the way she phrases her answers as I felt "backchatted" to. After all of that, I discovered my appointment was never booked and I waited so long during lockdown. Such a shame otherwise this practice has been very helpful.

I’ve been to a number of dentists in the east, south and even west. With none of them being satisfactory, I would never go back and just deal with it until I couldn’t anymore. One day I stumbled across Ti Rakau dental and my dental world changed forever! If you’re someone who is afraid of the dentist, you no longer need to be. This has been the best, gentle, caring and affordable service I’ve received. Scared of needles? Dr Tisha Yang makes sure the area is numbed properly and talks you through, making sure you are comfortable and checks on you throughout the procedure. The staff are very lovely and welcoming, always making sure you are okay. Can’t say thank you enough to Dr Tisha and her wonderful team, I’m so happy with my teeth and my smile confidence has been given a massive boost. I actually enjoy visiting the dentist these days, great and quality service. You won’t regret it! Happy smiling

I was seen in short notice during Level 3 lockdown. I am very happy and received good treatment effectively. Amazing and effective service, fast response, great communication, super friendly staff, professional and affordable price!!! This will be my family dental for the future!

Found the service to exceed my expectations during Covid, considering I didn't have the best experience with the medical center. The dental department is run differently so I recommend to visit the dental department. Dr. Ellen Yang did a superb job with looking after my mother's teeth and was quick to get the job done effectively. I was also impressed with Rachel whom personally I felt radiated "big sister" vibes. She made us feel easy leading us through these restrictions and instructions in a professional but unpatronizing way. Though we are all going through these difficult times, some people have lost their human touch and sadly treat you like a "number" choking you down with suspicion and the many things "you have to do", "need to do", "dont stand there", but you can still find humanity and understanding at Ti rakau dental :)

Great, caring & amazing service. They were accomodating on a day they were pretty much booked but they managed to squeeze me in & take care of a severe toothache I had been suffering thru the night before. Have made them my new dentist due to this. 5stars🙌🏽

I broke a front tooth and ended up having to have an implant to replace it. The team at Ti Rakau Dental Centre were fantastic and I can now smile without looking like a pirate. I should point out that I have a gagging problem so don't enjoy going to the dentist much, but I was well looked after. I was kept calm, the work was always done quickly and very professionally with no pain and no drama. I wont hesitate going back when I need to and I highly recommend Ti Raku Dental.

I went there after looking at the good reviews. Dr Ellen definitely made my time worth it and genuinely took great care of me throughout the entire procedure. This Dental Centre will 100% be my permanent place to go for all of my dental needs. 10/10 would recommend to everyone else.

I cannot recommend Ti Rakau Dental highly enough. I went to see them to get a second opinion as my usual dentist seemed too overly concerned with me being pregnant to even do MOH declared safe procedures like a filing. The initial consultation was quickly booked, and very affordable with all options covered of what might need to be done, and the safest way to approach my treatment. The work was done a few days later and not only was it the most pain-free dental experience I've ever had, my wallet didn't get hurt as much as I expected either... it was over half the price that I was quoted by my original dentist and it did not require me oral surgery as my now-ex-dentist initially suggested. Dr Ellen and Belinda where amazing to chat too, very helpful with my queries and for the first time in over a decade I am actually intending to go back for regular appointments (not just when I absolutely have to), and taking my family there as well. If you need dental work, routine or otherwise, or even just a second opinion to check up that you're not being taking for a ride by your usual provider, use Ti Rakau Dental. They're knowledgeable, value for money and very understanding and kind to deal with.

Look, I'd rather have all my toenails removed with pliers before going to a dentist. But, as life would have it, had a wee incident with a hard piece of toast and viola, ended up with an internet search and more options I imagined. So glad I picked Ti Rakau Dental Centre! Not only could they see me almost straight away, the service was simply awesome from reception staff right through to the wonderful and very kind dentist herself! Hasta la vista, I will be back! Two thumbs way, way up!

We highly recommend this dentist. The dentist did the extraction very painlessly. Both times also, Rachel treats us like family and looks after us very well. She is very sincere. Very effective communication and delicate care. Facility is nice and welcoming.

I have a fear of dentists like everyone else and extremely apprehensive but I came here and the dentist was incredible. I got my tooth extracted with numbing juice which is a huge step for me for someone who has to be knocked out. During the extraction, dentist was very reassuring likewise his nurse Rachel, who is highly charismatic and super down to earth, to a point you can trust her voice from the initial phone call to taking sincere consideration of you during the appointment. Just a calm, unique demeanour from them that you feel everything will be okay. They came across as “very human” during a vulnerable time for me. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

The follow up call to see i was feeling aftermath tooth extraction was very well done on Ti Rakau Dental's behalf. Ellen Yang made me feel very comfortable kept talking to me through out the process. I didn't feel judged by her at all. Will definitely go back to see her again.

My 8 year old daughter had a severe overbite where her teeth would stick out over her lip even with her mouth closed. We went to Dr Ellen Yang last year who treated her with a removable plate to bring her bottom jaw forward. Dr Ellen and the team have been kind and gentle to my daughter and made the whole experience wonderful. The price was very reasonable (much, much less than braces!) and we saw immediate results. Now, after just over 10 months of treatment, my daughter's smile is perfect, her confidence has increased and I am thrilled to hear we may have prevented the need for braces when she is older!

A big thankyou to Garth and The staff at Ti Rakau Dental they are amazing and very reassuring when I had my wisdom teeth out. They follow up on aftercare to make sure everything is going well, I would highly recommend to all!!

This is the first time I have written a review for anyone but it is deserving. We had a great experience with Dr. Kelvin and his nurse Rachel. It seemed quite busy for a team of two but we were impressed everything was handled in a professional, prompt and competent manner. Very knowledgeable nurse as well. Put us at ease and feel confident about this place. Dentist was honest and felt trustworthy. Reasonable price for an after hours clinic.

I made an urgent appointment same day as one of my back teeth was crumbling. Seen a few hours later and required root canal. They started on it same day. So informative and calming staff. I highly recommend them.

We found this place one weekend after a night of dental distress and our family dentist was closed. The whole process from scheduling an appointment to the actual appointment was effortless. Outstanding service, the energy was awesome and they made us feel cared for like family, really attentive and professional and showed genuine care. Highly recommended as an emergency practice as well as your main primary dental care clinic.

Really pleased because I received good service from the dental centre, the staff there are really helpful. Dr. Yang is very professional and patient with giving advice and very skillful during work for my Invisalign treatment. Highly recommended.

Great service. Rachel was fantastic. Clear and cut and made sure I was properly communicated with even calling me at night to see if everything was okay. Follow up care and was impressive no messing around, no delays in receiving my documents.

Extremely pleased with the professionalism and friendliness that was demonstrated during my recent visit. Dr was attentive and approachable not heavy handed and was genuinely sincere. They are easy to schedule with, and very helpful.

Recently had to have a molar pulled. To say I am an uncomfortable patient is an understatement. However, the staff were so supporting and calming whilst performing a pain free extraction. Can not recommend enough. A dentist you won’t mind visiting. I called on a Saturday after visiting 4 dentists that were closer and ‘open’ on Saturday’s but weren’t.

I saw Dr Bryony Mccartney and her assistant Rachael just after x mas for emergency treatment after being in pretty bad pain. They gave me treatment options and sent me home all fixed up and made me sleep like a baby in no pain at all. I have been back twice since the 30.12.19 for other treatment and they have always exceeded my expectations with their professionalism and quality care towards me. I could not recommend them highly enough. As soon as you sit in that chair your problems are over, Great prices also...Once again thank you Ladies.

For many years my fear was visiting the dentist. At a young age I had a bad experience with the dentist and after that I just stayed away. Not a very good idea😔 I developed an abscess and needed the tooth removed...it also came to me needing to remove all 4 wisdom teeth😫I was horrified. But after a consultation with Dr Ellen, she made me realise dentists are not all that bad😉 She said she’ll fix my teeth with not much pain at all...I believed her and she was right...not much pain at all. Had more pain with the abscess. All went well with the extraction...couldn’t be more pleased. Then I became even more brave to go back to see Dr Ellen to get Invisalign to straighten my teeth. I am definitely happier now my teeth are healthy. And happy to go back for regular check ups. Thank you Ti Rakau Dental😃

They have been phenomenal. Despite restrictions and procedures they have to follow at the moment due to covid19 have felt looked after the whole way through.

Very professional and transparent

Went in for a wisdom tooth extraction. Was attended too by some lovely receptionists. I was nervous as you can imagine, but my goodness from the numbing to xray to extraction took half an hour and boom it was over. I'm very fussy but Dr Aisha knew exactly how to deal with a nervous anxious patient. Once the numbing kicked in I didn't feel a thing. Definitely recommend Dr Aisha Ali. Thank you again 🙂

Clinic appears to be well regarded for ordinary day to day family dentistry. However, have doubts about whether or not some of the information on the website is still current and whether the procedures as advertised on their website are actually offered at all. e.g Tooth splinting. While both the receptionist and subsequently the dentist who attended to me were friendly, Got charged ~90 dollars only to be told they wouldn't splint the tooth without explaining in lay mans terms why. In addition, upon seeking a copy of the X-ray (which I understood formed a component of the cost and which they verbally agreed to supply), they claim a systems error caused the image to be lost. If a given treatment is only offered under very specific circumstances, then may I suggest that the website should explicitly mention this, otherwise strongly suggest arranging with your web developer to have the information in question promptly altered or removed from the website as I believe this would constitute a clear breach of the Fair trading act in terms of false or misleading advertising.
