The people here are amazing. I'm a big wimp when it comes to dentist. I have quite a bit of work to be done. The work I have had done so far was a breeze. They put you so much adverse. Numbing gel before injections help immensely. Then it's just lay back and no worries. I'm not even worried about going back to finish my dental treatments. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I visited g & e dental earlier this year in February. Had had ongoing problems with my wisdom tooth. The reception staff were friendly and informative nice waiting room. The dentist listened to my concerns, did an exam and then took me to the building next door and did the panorama xray, which revealed the cause of my tooth problems. The price was reasonable. The receptionist, when asking questions, realised this was more than a checkup and prioritized my care... the dentist also arranged for a referral to be sent to an oral surgeon in Christchurch.

I recently had a tooth removed and had a new top denture and a partial lower denture made .the whole procedure was a breeze,the dentist put numbing gel on my gums before the needles never felt a thing.the guy that fitted me for my dentures explained everything and they fitted perfectly. I recently went in for a tooth extraction. I was more than impressed with the service I received. My tooth was gone before I even had a chance to work myself up about it. Cannot speak highly enough of my treatment at GE Dental. Went in there with a cracked back tooth fully expecting getting it pulled was best and cheapest option. Only for the dentist to declare after having a poke that tooth was healthy and could be saved. NO x-ray or injection required. The sharp ridges of the tooth were ground down to where I had cracked it and filled. Great outcome, kept the tooth, pain free dental and roughly the same cost as if I had it pulled. Winning.

I had an appointment with Dr Suman Kavooru on Wednesday 22nd of September for a couple of extractions and fillings. In general i'm not a fan of going to the dentist due to childhood trauma with a terrible primary school dentist. I can wholeheartedly say that Dr Suman Kavooru is an absolute LEGEND. He made the whole process stress free and had a natural calming presence; it also helped that I was sedated. The only downside was apparently during my sedated state I told Suman that I needed to go for a 5km run, so it may have been beneficial if he did the appointment on a treadmill instead of in a chair. The receptionist was also very welcoming. Overall I cannot recommend G&E dental enough and will definitely be a life long customer.

I was very impressed with the team at Rolleston when I visited. Faye is very professional and gave good advice and explanation. I'd like to send thanks to the receptionist who rung ACC for me to get my ACC number- I think she was on hold for over half an hour which I just didn't have time to do, so really appreciated that.

Recently a quite large filling broke loose and fell out from a tooth. G&E Dentists arranged to see me the next day, before pain set in. The dentist was very efficient and informative in replacing the filling - no discomfort at all. This high level of service has consistently been the case over the 10+ years that they have looked after my family's dental health needs. I originally was introduced to G&E Dental when I accompanied a very nervous family member for urgent treatment. I would recommend them for that reason alone as the dentists were outstanding...at all times patient, explained procedures step by step and made efforts to calm fears. I have been to G&E Dentist Ashburton three times in the last few weeks. Twice for my very young son who needed a tooth extracted. He was treated so well and his experience was extremely positive, he even smiled the whole way through the procedure. I had to go last week and was extremely nervous, as I really don’t enjoy going to the dentist. The lady I saw was amazing. She was so kind, reassuring, understanding and just made my whole experience so much easier. I have rebooked with her because I have never met a dentist so lovely before, I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to rebook with her again. The ladies at the front desk are also so helpful and really lovely. I can honestly say that the whole experience with G&E Ashburton was very positive and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone!

I was impressed by my first visit to G&E Dental Rolleston Despite being a 'late in the day' appointment, they were pretty close to on time, only a 10min wait. I've spent 45min waiting at other dental practices! The dentist explained the treatment options to me and why a particular one was recommended. He also advised of another cavity and recommended a checkup to ensure no other issues in my mouth that needed treatment. The dental assistant (sorry if that's not the right term) was polite, as was the receptionist, who was helpful, professional and friendly. After having a family member turned away with awful words spoken from the Christchurch Emergency department saying she "wasn't worth getting the emergency dentist out of bed for," we called G&E Dental to get her seen to. Since I’ve been going GE Dental, I’ve seen people who are really passionate about dentistry and for me in general, cosmetic dentistry. This is where I’ve had personal experience with several cosmetic repairs. We all know good shiny well looked after teeth gives confidence and when I first lost and damaged mine I thought that was the end of both. However after treatment at GE Dental. I visited GE Dental in Hornby on Saturday 24th in the afternoon. I was told the dentist was running 15 minutes late but I was still in the chair on time The dentist helped me to make the right decision for my broken tooth. The procedure took less than half an hour and was totally painless. The cost was $195.00 which I thought was very reasonable considering it was a Saturday and I booked at short notice. I would come back to GE dental and I would definitely recommend the Hornby practice to all my friends.

I've been here last week and it was my first time to visit a dental clinic in NZ that I was afraid where to go. finally, I decided to visit the G&E dental and it was my best choice. To whom it may concern Recently I had to get a very bad tooth extracted I couldn't get an appointment but at last minute GE dental s came through for me . They rang with an appointment the next day due to cancellation . I was very Lucky to get Lucy Foley who was very kind and explained everything she was about to do she checked my tooth and told me she could and would not pull it that day as it would be like pulling it out without pain blocker because the infection in my tooth was so bad it would stop the pain blocker working so I got a 5 day script of antibiotics . I went back 5 days later and had my tooth extracted no problems . Lucy is quiet and gentle and tells you exactly whats shes going to do . I appreciate all Lucy did for me

I have no hesitation in recommending G&E Dental. They are fantastic and went above and beyond with my tooth extraction. I was in such agony for more than a week and my dentist appointment was still three days away when my daughter found G&E. They booked me the very next day (a Sunday) and OMG Francesca is the best dentist I've ever had! She paused when I needed to, gave an extra injection when uncomfortable and managed to pull my broken tooth out whole. They even phoned me the next day to see how I was. They saved my life!!! G&E Dental were fantastic! When my local dentist wouldn't fit me in for an emergency situation. G&E did! I was seen Ashburton where everyone from reception to the dentists were welcoming, accommodating and very informative. The dentist engaged with me and explained the issue and my options very clearly, set me up with Antibiotics and an appointment for an extraction. The condition worsened that evening however, and the team then effortlessly arranged for me to have an emergency extraction in the Hornby practice. The dentists and reception staff in Hornby were equally as accommodating and informative, making the whole procedure as painless as possible. A credit to the all of the staff. I have a minor phobia of dentists. I came here with quite painful teeth from not visiting the dentist for several years. I had Suman look after me - wish he had been my dentist forever. He did not make me feel self conscious or as though i had neglected my teeth. He was pragmatic - we had a general exam, formed a plan to break up the work into a series of sessions, quoted all the work. Each session, he explains what we will be doing, he regularly checks my comfort levels. The establishment is clean and tidy. There is a TV to watch while being worked on. Great Dentist! I had two wisdom teeth removed last night and just wanted to say how fantastic both the dentist and nurse both were. The dentist explained everything before and made it very easy to understand. After the procedure I felt unwell, they immediately tried to cool me down and kept me tilted back to help blood flow. They both dabbed my head and even fanned me to reduce my sweating. Eventually they gave me some sugar water and I felt fine again. I would just like to say how professional and personal the experience was. I had my wisdom tooth extracted by Dr Suman (Hornby branch) and he was just fantastic. He is very kind, always concerned if you're in any pain and answers any questions you have. I opted for oral sedation, if you're nervous about the dentist I say the sedative is definitely worth it. I was very calm and sleepy in about 10mins & after about 20mins it was all done. Can't even remember the car ride home!😂 Surgery and after care has been brilliant. Reception is warm and friendly. Definitely going back for any dental work :) A+

My son needed to see the dentist, he was a week away from turning 18 so after a good clean, he needed some fillings and the appointment was made in time for him to still qualify for his free treatment. Our previous dentist wanted to charge him $190 for a check up and clean because he'd left school. The surgery is very nice as are the receptionists and dentist. Hi, I've had quite a few visits to G & E Dental, initially relating to tooth decay problems after radiation for cancer; more recently, just follow up work on old fillings etc. The dentists I've seen have been fantastic. They make one feel relaxed, show and explain after x-rays are taken, have great numbing "stuff" prior to injection and keep one up-dated of where and what they are at, as they do the procedures. The cost of procedures is always discussed prior, so one has the choice of decision. Their prices are competitive and my results have definitely been worth the cost. I highly recommend them for your dental work.

I had a problem with a tooth, and I was desperately looking for a dentist. I am usually very scared of dentists since I have had a lot of bad experiences in the past. One of my friends encouraged me to try G&E Dental, and I am glad I listened to her. The dentist was incredibly gentle, and I felt no pain whatsoever. He was very thorough in explaining the problem and I didn't even realise when he was finished with the treatment. I recently went to G&E Dental with a severe tooth ache, the out come was that the back molar had split in half. The treatment I opted for was removal and while this was a little uncomfortable the job was done quickly and efficiently and with very little discomfort following the extraction. I was very happy with the way G&E handled my situation. I had a tooth pulled and an infection in my gum/cheek treated a few months ago! Unfortunately my gum never really healed the way it was supposed to and eventually my GP advised me to go back to G&E because 'something' was obviously not right. The same dentist who initially removed my tooth and treated the infection told me that there was still an infection going on deep in my gum. He promptly cleaned up the hole in my gum/infection and told me there would be no charge, which I do think was appropriate given the circumstances. Having said this I am very impressed with G&E Dental and the attending dentist and with the way I was respected and treated. No fuss, no cross questioning, no haggling, just "OK man we will sort it out, don't worry" sort of attitude!! I will recommend G&E and I will be back!! Thank you guys!

After some horrendous experiences with dentists over the years I am beyond terrified and had avoided going for 15 years. This time my face was so swollen and l was in so much pain l had no choice. Was impressed that l could get an appointment for the next day. Staff on reception and the dentist were incredibly kind and caring. Had 6 abscesses and had to have a root canal and 5 extractions over 2 visits but much less afraid now and will be able to return for regular check ups. Down side is place is quite a way out of Christchurch and is a bit tatty looking from the outside although the inside is much better.

I had a root canal procedure followed by the fitting of a crown. I can't praise my experience high enough. I have major anxiety issues going to the dentist and I went to rangiora gedental as I had half a tooth fall out. I had Dr Su Chun Lee who was absolutely amazing, he suggested using a sedative and was so careful and made sure I wasn't in pain every step of the way that even though I had a tooth pulled it s by far the best dental experience ever and I will definitely be going back to him for all future visits.

I have only positive comments about my visit to your dental surgery. I had broken a filling and part of a tooth, and so needed to have something done rather urgently, at least temporarily. For some time now I have been thinking of making an appointment with this surgery, and this incident prompted me to act. So I emailed from the website as soon as I arrived at work, and was surprised to receive a reply within a very short time. Amazingly, I was offered an appointment that very same day, with the dentist of my choice. In that time, Kathy repaired my broken tooth – permanently rather than temporarily – and she took x-rays to investigate the other problems I have been having, and then offered me options to deal with this. I now have a further appointment to address these other issues. Very happy to have found Kathy at this dental surgery.

I have recently had a tooth out by Suman at Rolleston, I was extremely nervous about it as have had bad experiences elsewhere in the past, but right from the time I entered the room, everything was explained very clearly to me and I have to admit it was all done so quickly, that I will not fear this again, should I have to go through it. I always hated going to the dentist, so with sweaty hands and a slight dizziness I went to GE 2 weeks ago. Meena, my dentist took all the time to explain to me what needed to be done, showing me the x-rays and calming me down. A root canal and 8 fillings it was. The same day the root canal was started, and despite all the stories, no pains (even before the injections i got some kind of numbing gel on my gums to make that less painful then it normally would be). A week later the second half of the root canal and the 8 fillings. The dentist and assistants were friendly, patient, relaxed, professional and caring all the time, giving me a feeling they cared for my teeth and me and not just about the money.
