Mark had been my orthodontist from the end of 2015 till 2019. During the entire treatment period, Mark had been nothing but knowledgeable, professional, attentive and friendly. I had not experienced any unbearable discomfort during any of the brace adjustment appointments. Mark continued to caring for his patients and monitoring their retainer fit and usage up to two years following the removal of braces. My usual dentist also showed great respect to Mark. It was a very positive experience for me and I am grateful to Mark and his lovely team . This review is long due. I would recommend Mark to anybody who needs an orthodontist in Christchurch.

Mark Kum is the best choice that can be made for getting braces done. I’ve known Mark for 5 years now and has been just over a year since I got my braces off, I still have very straight teeth and remain very happy with the results. Mark was always willing to talk about treatment and I decided to go for the option of only taking out one tooth and having braces on the top and bottom. He always explained what he was doing and what I could expect from the result. He made absolutely sure my teeth were aligned and got my parents to confirm before he took the braces off. Although from South Canterbury the opportunities for orthodontists were very limited however we found Mark's practice online and never looked back. Mark and his team were a pleasure to deal with and their personal approach was outstanding right from the very first visit and continuing to our final visits. Communication was always directed to our daughter who was the focus of all visits making her feel comfortable and at ease which removed any fears, with the full inclusion of us as parents.
