S.It has been over a decade since I have set foot inside a dental clinic and i am glad I chose The Smile Company to break me in again. Their customer service is outstanding and friendly. Greeted with a smile and made to feel at ease. There were no nerves felt as I sat in the once dreaded dental chair. Tom and Sammy extruded professionalism through their careful planning of my treatment, their precise and down to earth manner in which they described what they were doing every step of the way. If its friendly professionalism you want from a dentist then Smile Company is the place you should be switching too.
Thanks you all for turning what used to be a horrible experience into one I now look forward to.
S.I cant speak highly enough of the fabulous service at Smile Dental. Friendly service with a smile always from Vicki on arrival and pain free, very comfortable treatment from Tom and Sammie. My most recent appointment was a long one but the attention to my comfort meant I actually fell asleep!. Hygienist Heidi has also been caring for my teeth for years now and always does a great job.
C.I visited for the first time over a year ago, based on a Google review and I was not disappointed at all.
The team (and I've seen most of them) are incredible, professional and a pleasure to be around. After spending many years abroad I wanted to sort out a few problems, and they are always upfront with my options and prices and make it easy for me to choose what is best for me.
It's been a big year, but the thing I've appreciated the most is that they are always a joy to see, and they are upfront about pricing and there are no surprises.
The work I've had done has been amazing, and I can't recommend them enough.
J.As soon as I walked into The Smile Company I was happily greeted by Vicki, the receptionist. Having a fear of going to the dentist quickly dissipated when Tom immediately put me at ease. His calm and gentle nature (with a great sense of humour) enabled me to relax and trust that I was in great professional hands. Sam, Tom’s assistant was also amazing. Tom and Sam make a great team and make any treatment and checkup easy, providing clear explanation of treatment and providing options, along with a great sense of humour.
Anna was wonderful for our anxious daughter who needed extractions to prepare for orthodontic work. Victoria and the rest of team are super friendly and always accommodating. Love the booking system and automated reminders.
Over the years and in our travels we have visited a number of dentists in Aus and NZ, and Smile Co has certainly been the best
E.The entire team here is incredibly respectful and patient. I've never had such good care at a dentist's before. I recommend Anna and Heidi very highly to anyone with fear or anxiety around dentistry. They are incredibly calming, non-judgemental, and they want you to have the best experience possible. I trust Anna and Heidi to help me make good decisions about my dental health. These choices can be incredibly stressful, and having them "on my side" is a relief. All of the staff here make me feel welcome and valued.
C.The Smile Company is my definite choice of dentists in Christchurch. It is a little more expensive than other dentists, however I tried Riverside dental and Colombo Street Dental which I had very negative experiences. So for me it is worth the money here. I have never had a problem at all at this dentist. Tom Egnot and Anna Knight and staff a highly recommended.
a.Anna and Alex are an awesome team and do great work. I've never been a big fan of needles and was procrastinating finding a dentist in Christchurch - I'm glad I chose The Smile Company! Anna and Alex have always put me at ease, answer any and all questions I might have and constantly make me feel comfortable - would highly recommend!
J.My whole family go to The Smile Co - Tom and Sammy as our dentist and assistant and Heidi as our hygienist. They are very professional, super friendly with lots of good banter and good background music. Tom is super careful and even numbs your gum with a gel so you don't feel the injection. N.You could possibly call me as an expert customer at Smile Co. after I'd done my dental implant, root canal, wisdom tooth extraction, cavity treatments etc etc... for the last few years. Gentle and friendly, highly skilled dentists Tom and David, very caring and professional staff including Sam the dental assistant and Vicki the receptionist who is like everyone's mother (much more beautiful than my mother of course). Great team as a whole!!
I know dental treatments can cost a lot in New Zealand, so when you have to go I bet you want to see people who you can trust!
D.I would like to say thank you to Anna and Alex for my treatments. I had a situation where I needed urgent dental treatment and I was dealt with very quickly and now I am pain free. All the staff I met at The Smile Company were very personable and great to deal with. Even the cost for my treatments were very fair. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to The Smile Company and I will never be going anywhere else from now on. Thank again.
L.I can't recommend David enough! I'm an incredibly nervous flyer when it comes to dentists and I've had my fair share of traumatic experiences with other dental surgeries, but smile has really put my mind at ease with their incredible attention to detail and very thorough treatment plan. David booked me in for a session with their in house hygienist who gave me the tools to maintain the best oral hygiene at home. Going to the dentist now is a lot more relaxing knowing that your in the best possible hands. Auntie Vicky is your number one cheerleader as soon as you walk through the front door and I couldn't be more grateful for a more wonderful, and caring team determined to give you the best treatment and the smile you've always wanted. Thank you!
J.Sophie our 9 year old has never been here before but broke both of her front teeth. She is highly anxious at the Dentist and usually needs sedation. Dr Anna was so lovely and reassuring she had them both repaired without sedation in minimal time. Soph said she likes her new front teeth better. Have registered both daughters here now as our Dentist. Amazing service especially lovely Vic on reception she treated us like royalty. Thanks heaps
J.I love The Smile Company. I had the best experience with Tom. He made me feel so relaxed and comfortable. He did an amazing job on fixing my broken tooth and would reccomend him and his assistant Sam to anyone.
M.I hadn't been to the dentist for years mostly because of an ingrained fear of the profession. One trip to The Smile Company changed all that. My new dentist is The Smile Company. And I'll be making the trip from the north to Christchurch every year just to go back. They tick every box - service, quality, right price, follow up. Rave reviews. Rave!
P.This has to be the best dental practice in the world! Not only does Tom do amazing work, he does so with perfect chair side manner too. My husband was quite apprehensive when going to the dentist and used to have to take some kind of medication to relax him (such that he couldn't drive himself there, not that he would have even without the medication). He now goes to Tom on his own, no extra medication needed.
The whole team are what sets this practice apart from others, from the dental nurses, to hygienists, to the awesome concierge who makes sure you don't forget about an appointment and works with you not against you. Nothing is ever a problem with these guys.
Also love love love that these guys are tech savvy and use email and text as methods to communicate with you!
Not only do you get a great smile at The Smile Company - you always receive a smile when you walk in the door! Priceless!!
B.I used to be apprehensive about visiting a Dentist after many negative experiences.
After visiting The Smile Company and meeting Vicki and her team I now enjoy catching up with them all.They are all welcoming and kind.
Tom, the Dentist, is caring, a perfectionist, and explains everything as he proceeds with his work. I trust him implicitly. I now feel confident when smiling.

J.I went here based on the reviews and I was not disappointed. I'm incredibly nervous at the dentist and the dentist and Hygenist I saw could not have been more kind and caring people. In fact, everyone there in general is lovely. I would 100% recommend.

S.Our 1-year old son knocked his tooth back on a Friday morning, despite being fully booked The Smile Company squeezed us in and were able to take a look at it straight away. They followed up with a call later in the day to see how he was getting on. Their service was fantastic!
L.I went in the morning to make an appointment to get my chipped tooth fixed. While I was filling the form somebody called to cancel their appointment. By noon, I was all sorted. I would absolutely recommend this place.
