Amber Dental has been a proud supporter and sponsor of Gisborne Girls High 1st XI Hockey team for a number of years. They have shown our playing team immense support, and throughout the years, have given the girls in the team a fantastic dental service as well. All the staff I have dealt with have been friendly, approachable and above all, professional.

Amber Dental are amazing! I had previously been referred to a specialist to have my wisdom teeth removed which was going to cost a lot of money and wouldn't be done for four months. Friends had suggested I try Amber Dental so I called on a Monday and got an appointment on Wednesday! All of the staff were so friendly and the dentist I saw for my consult took the time to explain all my options. She was then able to book me in for my wisdom teeth to be removed the very next Wednesday! The procedure was fast and painless, and the surgeon and assistant were both very professional but friendly with a sense of humour which made the whole process much less stressful for me. I can't thank you all enough!

They offer a variety of specialised treatments that would be hard to find else where in Gisborne. I was attracted to the soft social media marketing of the practice but also was drawn to the element of community involvement Amber Dental has committed to in order to reduce inequity that exists particularly for our isolated whanau on the Coast which reduces the barriers and enables dental care to be more accessible. I had a really great experience here with Nitish. He is an INCREDIBLE dentist, extremely talented and so gentle. I am one of those people petrified of dentists so for me to give a positive review should say it all! 😄 Nitish replaced 4 veneers that had served their purpose for the last 20 years but we're chipped and looking horrible. The service here was amazing! We were visiting Gisborne from Hawkes Bay when my wife had bad tooth pain on Christmas Eve. After being treated with pain relief at A&ae on Christmas Day we were able to get an appointment from the team at Amber and they took great care of us. Even post our appointment they went out of their way to email dental records and prescription to an Ohope pharmacy as we were travelling during the holidays. Super professional from the front desk through to the dentist and dental assistant! Thank you guys! And to top it off the price for check up, X-ray and prescriptions etc was only $65. Highly recommend.

My family and I have been to Amber Dental now on a number of occasions and have had nothing but a professional experience. I was given options prior to the treatment and the treatment was pain free. I have been under the care of Amber Dental since moving to Gisborne 6 years ago, During this time I have had routine fillings and hygienist work done, as well as more complicated root canal and extraction work. I have always been impressed by the professionalism and caring attention of both Nitish and Sujatha, as well as their support staff. Most recently, when altering my partial plate clasps, Nitish made an innocent simple mistake, rendering it less effective. He immediately offered to have a new plate made for me, at his own cost. When that inexplicably went missing over Covid19 lock down, he repeated the process by getting a second plate made for me - again at his own cost. I viewed his immediate willingness to do this as a great credit to his ethics. I am very happy to continue using the services of Amber Dental and would happily recommend them to anyone else needing dental care.

After a serious accident 7 years ago, I've had ongoing dental issues including needing multiple root canals, implants, and veneers to repair chipped and broken teeth. I have been extremely impressed with the level of pain free care provided by the Amber Dental team. Nitish and Sujatha have gone above and beyond expectations to meet my dental needs. They have met me at short notice to alleviate pain (compared to having to wait weeks for an appointment elsewhere) and to repair teeth in emergency situations and have always done this with a smile on their face and treated me with the utmost respect. Something I have really appreciated is the way they're always upfront about the cost. I've always known what my treatment was going to cost and they created a really good long term plan for me to cover all the work I needed, including what each part would cost. There were never any surprises and their charges are very reasonable. All members of the team at Amber Dental have fabulous attitudes to their work and to the people they deal with - nothing is ever too much or a problem. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone and everyone. They are very talented - Gisborne is lucky to have dentists that are so well qualified and so good at what they do.
