Amber Dental has been a proud supporter and sponsor of Gisborne Girls High 1st XI Hockey team for a number of years. They have shown our playing team immense support, and throughout the years, have given the girls in the team a fantastic dental service as well. All the staff I have dealt with have been friendly, approachable and above all, professional.

Amber Dental are amazing! I had previously been referred to a specialist to have my wisdom teeth removed which was going to cost a lot of money and wouldn't be done for four months. Friends had suggested I try Amber Dental so I called on a Monday and got an appointment on Wednesday! All of the staff were so friendly and the dentist I saw for my consult took the time to explain all my options. She was then able to book me in for my wisdom teeth to be removed the very next Wednesday! The procedure was fast and painless, and the surgeon and assistant were both very professional but friendly with a sense of humour which made the whole process much less stressful for me. I can't thank you all enough!

Great staff & great service. Very friendly & accommodating team on reception & the expertise of these dentists is among the best. They offer a variety of specialised treatments that would be hard to find else where in Gisborne. I have always been happy with the quality of treatment I receive here as well as the willingness to assist with help when a dental emergency struck out of town. The whole atmosphere of Amber Dental is welcoming & pleasant.

Best dental care from the lovely reception team to the wonderful dental assistants and of course the dentists who are all so passionate, experienced and above all truly care about their patients. I have always been well looked after, put at ease and the work I have had done has exceeded expectations. I couldn't recommend them enough!

Amazing practice, staff who are patient focused and patient centered. Since becoming a patient with Amber Dental I now have a healthy smile, I'm more educated around oral health and trust the staff to always offer me the right advice. I suffer from a condition that causes dry mouth syndrome but now I know what to do, know how to manage it and have a smile I deserve. I highly recommend this team to everyone, even at my age it was not too late to gain back control of my oral health. Good oral health for all, for life!!!!!

I am a new patient at Amber Dental having put off years of knowing I really should be taking better care of my teeth. I was attracted to the soft social media marketing of the practice but also was drawn to the element of community involvement Amber Dental has committed to in order to reduce inequity that exists particularly for our isolated whanau on the Coast which reduces the barriers and enables dental care to be more accessible. My experience found the team particulatly Dr Nitish very friendly with professional dental advice and guidance. My engagements pre and post treatment were authentic and caring! I have now committed to an ongoing routine of care and maintenance of my niho and an added bonus, I have been given back my confidence to smile again! Thank you to all the amazing team at Amber Dental!!

. I can truely say that amber dental has been a painfree experience with excellent results. . If u are interested in having implants nitish 💯 is the man! He tutors around the world re implants so u can be assured you are in good hands. No pain through the whole procedure. Absolutely amazing! Sujartha and nitish have a great team with state of the art equipment . Highly recommend their services.

I had a really great experience here with Nitish. He is an INCREDIBLE dentist, extremely talented and so gentle. I am one of those people petrified of dentists so for me to give a positive review should say it all! 😄 Nitish replaced 4 veneers that had served their purpose for the last 20 years but we're chipped and looking horrible. I am so grateful to Nitish and his wonderful team for giving me back my smile :)

The service here was amazing! We were visiting Gisborne from Hawkes Bay when my wife had bad tooth pain on Christmas Eve. After being treated with pain relief at A&ae on Christmas Day we were able to get an appointment from the team at Amber and they took great care of us. Even post our appointment they went out of their way to email dental records and prescription to an Ohope pharmacy as we were travelling during the holidays. Super professional from the front desk through to the dentist and dental assistant! Thank you guys! And to top it off the price for check up, X-ray and prescriptions etc was only $65. Highly recommend.

I was experiencing some pretty major problems and it was recommended that I get another opinion from Nitish at Amber dental - sincerely that has been the best thing I could ever have done. Nitish listened and the problem has been fixed beyond any expectation. The whole team from the receptionists to dental care assistants - just awsome. Considerate, respectful, helpful and Always ring the Following day to see how you are. Nitish is a master craftsman to say the least . Can’t thank him enough. Highly recommend this service, the reception, surgeons, nurses & owners were extremely friendly and helpful, you can see they love their job & strive for perfection. They explained everything to me and gave me options, advice, incredibly hygienic & remembered me on my return. I never thought I would look forward to going to a dentist.... but I can’t wait to pop in for a general clean & check after my procedure today.

Today i recieved the best dental care ever. Thankyou to Dr John ? The surgeon from Auckland. Your bedside manner reassurance skill and care throughout the procedure was a very pleasant surprise. My family and I have been to Amber Dental now on a number of occasions and have had nothing but a professional experience. I was given options prior to the treatment and the treatment was pain free. I am a nervous patient at best and yet the experience was the best i have had. I felt confident with the direction I chose and the team there are wonderful. Its unusual to make a positive comment, but great service and high standards are hard to come by, so there you have it.

As someone who had a horror of dentists I am delighted to say that my experience at Amber Dental was, and continues to be, a positive experience. All staff are very friendly and professional. I have had treatments from both Sujatha and Nitish. Exquisite care has been taken every time and the modern technology means virtually pain free dentistry. I highly recommend Amber Dental.

I've been with amber dental since I started highschool back in 2012. They've looked after me with great care for all of my dental and orthodontic treatments despite my many complications and scheduling issues. If you or your child are thinking of changing dentist I cannot recommend them enough.

This is my second visit to this Dentist, apart from running late both times,( which was explained) I found the team pleasant to deal with the and the work I had done was of the highest standard, The price was quoted and an explanation of the work done. I have nothing but positive things to say about the team at Amber Dental. I admitted to them on my first visit that I feared going to the dentist, due to a past experience - but Nitish and his team went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. They supported me through all the work I needed and I have subsequently become a lot more relaxed when attending the dentist. I have been under the care of Amber Dental since moving to Gisborne 6 years ago, During this time I have had routine fillings and hygienist work done, as well as more complicated root canal and extraction work. I have always been impressed by the professionalism and caring attention of both Nitish and Sujatha, as well as their support staff. Most recently, when altering my partial plate clasps, Nitish made an innocent simple mistake, rendering it less effective. He immediately offered to have a new plate made for me, at his own cost. When that inexplicably went missing over Covid19 lock down, he repeated the process by getting a second plate made for me - again at his own cost. I viewed his immediate willingness to do this as a great credit to his ethics. I am very happy to continue using the services of Amber Dental and would happily recommend them to anyone else needing dental care.

Very friendly helpful and amazingly quick specialist that does their difficult wisdom tooth removal. I was in and out in less than 30 min and no pain.

After a serious accident 7 years ago, I've had ongoing dental issues including needing multiple root canals, implants, and veneers to repair chipped and broken teeth. I have been extremely impressed with the level of pain free care provided by the Amber Dental team. Nitish and Sujatha have gone above and beyond expectations to meet my dental needs. They have met me at short notice to alleviate pain (compared to having to wait weeks for an appointment elsewhere) and to repair teeth in emergency situations and have always done this with a smile on their face and treated me with the utmost respect. Something I have really appreciated is the way they're always upfront about the cost. I've always known what my treatment was going to cost and they created a really good long term plan for me to cover all the work I needed, including what each part would cost. There were never any surprises and their charges are very reasonable. All members of the team at Amber Dental have fabulous attitudes to their work and to the people they deal with - nothing is ever too much or a problem. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone and everyone. They are very talented - Gisborne is lucky to have dentists that are so well qualified and so good at what they do. Some 3 years ago I had an unpleasant customer service experience with a local dental clinic and as you do, made enquiries via my network of friends and Amber Dental practice name came from three trusted sources. So I gave it a go! The experience was indeed 5 star. The surgery is very modern with first class equipment. The staff are attentive and friendly The Dentist Nitish whom has now work on my teeth several times is an absolute professional. Dr.Nitish has placed two implants for me with CAD CAM crowns on them , it has now been over a year and they are doing great, feel like natural teeth .I have found his team to be professional , kind and very thorough, would recommend his office for anything dental.

Very lovely staff do an excellent job you feel at peace at this dentist. All the technology is a bonus recommend to all for fillings, cleaning and what else you need doing.
