I was given an appointment the same day as I rang with a cracked tooth. The treatment options and costs were explained. The restoration of my tooth is absolutely brilliant. I was treated very kindly and respectfully throughout the entire process.

Brilliant service, from the initial phone call to the service throughout my procedure. I was very happy with my care and service today. Recommend this dental service 100%.

I went in for a tooth extraction. Rahul and his team were wonderful and professional. The extraction itself took less than a minute and everyone went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and relaxed before the procedure. It was also relatively painless which is testament to Rahul's skill as a dentist. Would highly recommend.

Last night, they went above and beyond to help me out. I cant remember their names but the nurse/assistant was so compassionate and even held my hand while I had two molars extracted. The dentist was so efficient and gentle and patient with me. First time I have had an extraction without any pain once atheistic has worn off. I needed an emergency dentist appointment, as I could not get in to my usual practise until later in the week. I was able to get in with them that night and they are honestly life savers, before i saw them i was in alot of discomfort and i had no idea where to turn to. I was seen by Lav and David. They were so gentle and were happy to treat over the areas concerning me where my bite was being affected by some new veneers. Thanks to them I am feeling so much better.

Friendly staff, great environment, excellent dental work!! Doctor Rahul has been AMAZING!! I have veneers and was incredibly worried when getting a root canal done, however the Doctor took the time to explain the process in detail and was incredibly careful and his work was impeccable. He is by far even better than the top dentists I visited in Colombia. I 100% recommend this place, I found it through Google Reviews and I'm so happy I did.

I had a wisdom tooth removed that had a hooked root. Rahul extracted it so professionally it was a breeze. 100% recomend them.Im booking in for some more work and feel no stress about it as i know they will take good care of me.

After reading some of the reviews I was a bit put off from coming here, but after calling up and speaking to them my mind was put at ease. They were straightforward with costs which I was told beforehand. It's not just about them making money here and they genuinely care about what is right for you and your situation. David is amazing, he was very thorough and did not rush me, he offered all the treatment options best for me, I opted for an extraction and did not feel a thing, he makes you feel so comfortable and it's like chatting away to an old friend. An added bonus is that they are open late and do not charge extra for that service. I am very happy with this clinic and recommend them to all. Thanks David and team.

Had a serious tooth ache so did a quick google search for nearby dentists. Read the reviews for HDE and thought I’d try them. Their receptionist was very friendly and helpful, which makes such a difference when going to a place I hate to visit! The treatment was quick, easy and painless. My only complaint was the doctor not cleaning out the hole where my tooth use to be (after extraction), before sending me home. Other than that $350 for a tooth extraction seems reasonable.

I had a bit of an accident and smashed a few of my front teeth and the hospital sent me here, they were very busy but made time to see me anyway! Was very nervous as I don't like the dentist but they made me feel so comfortable and at ease. They have been extremely helpful, would 100% recommend them! They are super gentle and lovely people to talk to😊 me and my partner will definitely be coming back here if we need any dental work done. Thankyou you guys!!

awesome customer services. very willing to help. I used to hate coming to the dentist because I didn't like how it hurt when I was getting the injection to numb my tooth. but for the fist time in my life, the care and precision that was used here to help me feel comfortable and confident was absolutely outstanding. they truly care about you and looking after you. My first experience with dr Rahul and Vimal and it was the best one ever ! Dr Rahul know what hes doing and they make you feel comfortable while they are taking care of you ! Most important was they were very nice with the payment as well ! I love it ! Will always go here now !

I had a fantastic experience at this dental clinic today. Rahul and his staff are friendly, professional and competent. He made a fantastic job on my broken tooth and then spent an additional 20 minutes buffing and polishing the tooth next to it which had become very dull and grey, (tooth has a veneer) for no additional charge. Highly recommend!

This dental practice is by far my first choice. Rahul takes pride in his work and explains everything regarding the procedure being carried out, I’m always 100% satisfied with the end result. Lily always has a welcoming smile and the assistants are great. With this team I feel comfortable and at ease. All in all, a friendly, great quality service that I highly recommend to all.

They where so awesome with my 9 year old daughter. She had to get her 2 front teeth fixed after breaking them. They made her feel relaxed an comfy while fixing them. She was one happy child when they were finished😁

The entire team at Hamilton Dental Emergency Centre are fantastic! They all went over and above just dentistry. They were so caring and so sensitive to my son and our whole family when my son needed some teeth extractions that were complicated. I have attended Hamilton Dental Emergency Centre for a few years now. I cannot speak highly enough, or thank Rahul and his team enough for the very exceptional dental care that I have received. Rahul is a very highly skilled Dentist who provides a very reasonable priced service with very caring and lovely staff. Honestly, his wife Lilly (receptionist) is just beautiful and really goes out of her way to get me an appointment as quickly as possible, she is just lovely and very caring. I also have to mention Jess (their very highly skilled dental technician who is also absolutely lovely and very caring. In addition to this, the whole practice has only been further enhanced by the addition of Dr David Smith who is also amazing! I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone requiring a very trustworthy, honest, hardworking and reliable dental service that is provided at a reasonable cost! However, please remember to go up the stairs to their surgery as there is another dentist located next door and I have witnessed his shocking behaviour over car parking and certainly would not recommend his services!

I needed a tooth to be taken out and with a fear of pain and dentists I didn't look forward to it. But everybody working there is so nice and caring and before I knew it, it was all over and didn't hurt very much. It also was not difficult at all to get an appointment, Dr Rahul goes out of his way to make sure you are ok and explains everything to you with his great knowledge. Everybody there is fantastic and I will recommend them anytime.

Bless the dentist, I was so relieved because this dentist was an absolute lifesaver, and I mean it. I'm really scared of dentists & I had a poorly done patch job back home on one of my tooth, which caused an abscess. Thank you so much to the dentists & nurses, I could never thank you all enough for all the help & support you all provided me with. I was in a lot of pain & headache, and I was legitimately scared, but you all made me calm down, especially right before my root canal treatment. Eternally grateful to the amazing treatment & care given here. Highly recommend for any dental emergencies or treatment, I really trust the dentist here.

100% recommend going here. The staff were all really friendly and supportive, everything was explained before it was done and they made sure I was comfortable and understood everything that was going on. Prices are really good and affordable (for dental work). Two wisdom teeth extractions and a clean/scale done quickly and with expert precision. Barely any pain throughout. Will be coming back here for all of my dental needs in the future.

I became Dr Rahul Gautam’s patient more than five years ago. I have always received caring and highly professional treatment. The examination carried out by him is always very thorough and its outcome as well as the possible treatment are explained in a lucid and easily understandable manner. I am impressed by the high standard of equipment in his surgery. His assistant and receptionists are friendly and helpful. I can recommend his service with confidence. Note: The Hamilton Dental Emergency Centre, where Dr Raul works should not be confused with Dental Emergency which is an entirely different practice and situated at a different address.

I can tell all the best for both of the dentists and the medical staff at this Center. They are very kind, helpful and professional. I broke my tooth at my job. Dr Rahul did the extraction and, after the wound was healed, I got the replacement tooth first and, after a while, the bridge. All the procedures were done with no pain or any complications. I am very satisfied because everything was finished within two months. Most of all I am happy to be able to eat with no difficulties and to smile again before Christmas. Doctor Rahul promised that and succeeded to finish everything before Christmas break. The colour of the teeth is perfectly matched and the feeling is like these are my natural teeth. Awesome service here I wouldn't go any where else, there been doing our families teeth for years. Fair price and well looked after. Be careful off city smile down stairs they will lie too you and try and get you too go too them like they are apart off Hamilton Dental but infact he is not (doesn't that say something) I accidentally went in there for my appointment he also told me they where the same place untill i realize it was not the same dentist I know my bubbly Lily and my dentist Raul I trust them so at that point I realized. Be careful Hamilton Dental Emergency is still up the stairs where they have always been.

Awesome service today, I went in feeling quite nervous and came away deciding this is going to be my regular dentist from now on. I was pretty nervous going in as I had a toothache and knew I had to have an extraction of a wisdom tooth that had broken down to the gum, ended up I had two broken teeth and had them both taken out. I was booked in for 8.45am and left at 8.58am, feeling fine. Now going to the dentist makes me nervous but the whole process was so calm and pain free and very quick. I would definitely recommend going here, really reasonably priced and very friendly service. I'm glad I read the reviews on this page before I went, their experiences proved true with the great service they received also. Thanks again you have a new customer for life.

What a fab dentist even though we had to wait a long time, David was apolagetic and so caring toward my husband. He did rush but made sure he was comfortable through out the while appointment and the nurse is such a lovely lady very helpful and also very caring towards me patients. Many thanks indeed.

I have had great experiences at the emergency dentist. I have always had a fear of dentists but the team are really helpful and lovely and make me feel at ease. I have had a wisdom tooth removed, a routine scaling and a few other procedures and honestly I would never go anywhere else. It is a bit confusing when you go there, they are up the stairs on the left side of the building. I couldn't recommend them enough

The dentist here is fantastic. Incrediably friendly, years of experience and my teeth have never been better. Removed two wisdom teeth and everything went smoothly and pain free, also had filling and scaling tooth which was such an ease. Will be going again to get more done!

So today I built up the courage to get my back tooth filling sorted and thank goodness I went to these guys. Dr David and staff are so professional, friendly and really put you at ease if you're a nervous patient like I am. I ended up needing a massive filling so it was a pretty bit job but I never felt one bit of pain, also the cost wasnt bad either. Thank you guys for an awesome experience 😁

I have been using the Hamilton Dental Emergency centre for the last couple of years and I have found Rahul and his team to be both professional and caring. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. ***Little warning*** Onsite it might be confusing as there are two dental practitioners there but Rahul and his team are the original Dentists and can be found upstairs to the left. Do not go downstairs as I cannot speak to the services they provide.

After a few years of having low self confidence especially when I smiled( because when I did smile you couldn't see my teeth). I now finally love my smile after the new teeth the dentist gave me. I can smile now with confidence and my new teeth have made a huge difference to the way i look. Thank u!!! We have had the absolute best service from Hamilton Dental Emergency Centre, I recommend this dentist to all if you are looking for someone who truely cares, Rahul Graham is sure to meet all your needs. My sister is under 18 so there were are few requirements needed before proceeding, however Rahul was very generuos to attend to my sisters needs first even though we did not have a refererral as she was in pain which needed treating urgently to relieve. He made sure to prioritise her and treated her as a very important patient. All the staff were very lovely and comfortable to be around. Please do not mistake city smile for this centre as a lot of people get mixed up and go next door, you can find Hamilton Dental Emergency Centre on the left upstairs.

I had a wisdom tooth coming through and another tooth that needed pulling, couldn't get an appointment anywhere and was in major pain, on top of that had a business to run so my time was limited. Not only did they accommodate my time by fitting me in to there already busy schedule, but also saw me that day and was around $80 less than other places. The follow up call the next day was a pleasant surprise. Have been referring all my friends and family since then. Top experience, and a lovely husband and wife team, 5 stars from us.

I got back to my dentist Dr. Rahul and had my crown prep done. It went very well again, he had a very light hand to work on your tooth. So now, I am waiting for my crown to be back. But for the experience, it was excellent and the staff are also very good. Thank you so much team!

I had two fillings done at the Hamilton Dental Emergency Centre last week. I found them to be extremely friendly and natural and the cost to be less than I expected. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for good work at fair prices. Make sure you go up the stairs as there is another dentist downstairs and it is confusing.

Both my husband and myself have attended the Hamilton Dental Emergency Centre and been very impressed with the dental treatment we have received. My first visit was out of normal business hours and the staff were very accomodating. Rahul is honest and professional and explains what the dental problem is, why, and what the treatment plan will be. We now see Rahul for all our dental needs. I have no hesitation recommending this dental practise to others. Please note that there are 2 dental offices next to each other,and you go UP the stairs to the Hamilton Dental Emergency Centre.

This is the best dental surgery I have ever been to. David and Rahul are professional, kind and reassuring. They are both very easy to talk to with no judgement. Also, they are available when a lot of dental surgeries are closed, meaning if you have to see a dentist urgently, these are your guys. Great service - great people.

I have been to Rahul and his team several times over the years and can highly recommend his dentistry. Rahul explains all options available to you and is very competent, gentle and his work is of top quality for very reasonable prices. His practice is located next door to another dentist, so make sure you go to the upper level on the left hand side of the building.

Such a a wonderful experience! Every single person I talked to were lovely and attentive. They all learnt my history and current medical problems. I had a consult and was given all of my options which helped me to make my decision. I then came back a day later and i feel a million times better! I have seen Dr. Rahul and his small but dedicated and efficient team on at least 3 occasions. I was informed about all options for treatment of my abscessed painful front tooth and enough time was given to me to make an informed decision making. Although dentist is not my favourite place to be but I would highly recommend this place upstairs to the left side of the building if you want to be treated by a confident team. Caution: A similar looking dental surgery is present downstairs creating confusion as where to go therefore when you go to reception ask for the name of the dentists on duty . This dental surgery has a special place in my heart. I'd put off removal of a wisdom tooth for far too long, painkillers were not working and I was wondering what crazy things I would be prepared to do to stop the pain. They understood my pain and anguish and fast-tracked an appointment for me. 90mins later (on a Sunday evening, I might add), my tooth was out and I was ecstatic. Fairly priced for an emergency dentist. Anaesthesia and removal was effective and deftly executed; couldn't have gone better. Bedside manner was calming. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly - exactly what you need with a mouthful of pain. Thank you all so much!

Me and my family have been visiting Dr Rahul for a long time now. I have had my root canal done which i always heard was a very painful process but i never felt any pain during the entire treatment. Dr Rahul is very professional and did such an amazing job I would highly recommend people to visit this clinic for any of their dental problems.

I wanted to write a review because of the awesome service I have always received every time to need any dental care. Hamilton Dental Emergency (upstairs on the left) first helped me when I had a tooth problem over a Christmas/New Year holiday. I was in pain and they were open! They were easy to find on 481 Anglesea Street, but don't get them confused with the other dentist at the same address (downstairs), you want to go upstairs to the right place. Since my holiday disaster and then relief, I have been back a number of times and they are always helpful and make appointments around my schedule. So if you need a great dental practice, this is the place to go...remember, it's the one upstairs! Good luck all.

I recently travelled to Hamilton, NZ for a conference from Australia and broke my top front tooth. I was lucky to get an appointment at a short notice at Hamilton Dental Emergency Centre (the one upstairs on left – there are two at same add). I was seen by Dr. Rahul Gautam and his team. He did a detailed examination and took time to explain the range of options. I got the treatment done at a very reasonable price. I initially just wanted to get the urgent work done, but Dr. Gautam did such a thorough job nothing needed to be followed up in Australia! Highly recommended.

Amazing service. I had so much pain. Dr Rahul Gautam told me exactly what was wrong. I had to get surgery to remove a impacted tooth that was causing infection. Two days after my consultation with Dr he made the time to get the surgery done urgently. He came in earlier on his off day to help me out. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He is gentle and i can honestly say anyone afraid if a dentist will never be scared to go to one after getting your dental work done from Dr Rahul Gautam.

I saw Dr Rahul for multiple teeth extraction and my teeth were in terrible condition, I feared that it would be a complicated process. Dr Rahul handled the extraction with the highest level of professionalism, it was a seamless process with no complications. I can't praise this Dental Emergency enough. The receptionist was very informative and did her utmost to get me a same day appointment. The Dentist I was assigned to was David Smith. David is a lovely person along with his chair assistant. He does everything possible to avoid causing pain and is so patient & caring. Who else would phone you the next day to find out your progress. A big thank you from me to your team.

I have been going to Rahul ever since I have been in Hamilton. He really knows his stuff and understands the requirements of his patients. A few good things I liked about him is he delivers what he says, doesn't beat around the bush - he is very direct, price is reasonable. I had been to two different renowned dentists one in Australia and the second one was local to Hamilton. They both were beating around the bush to treat a problem caused by the wisdom teeth - cost me revisits and lots of money - in truth the other Dentists were hesitant in extracting the wisdom tooth as it was very close to the nerve on the lower jaw and had a big risk of loss of taste for 6 months or permanent. Rahul took care of it wonderfully for me at a nominal cost and even did a free follow up. There were no problems or side effects of any kind. I have been very happy with his services. There are only 2 dentists that are recommended by my health practitioner and he is the only one in Hamilton.

Rahul & his staff are the very best l have ever had experience with when having the least favourite place to visit. Rahul you put my shattered mind at ease & the outcome excellent. I cannot speak more highly of you & your staff. Thank you so much.

My personal experience at the clinic was pretty soothing.A few things first of all that i personally liked about the clinic were the central location within the town with parking space and the flexibility of appointments offered. I had a painless experience too on the other hand with my treatment every time. I would highly recommend Hamilton Dental Emergency to everyone seeking quality treatment at the most reasonable prices than other dental practices in the city.

Doctors David and Rahul have both done an excellent job with re-cementing my crowns back on. The dentist's late hours makes it much more convenient with my busy schedule to book an appointment.

Went to the upstairs dentist for an emergency root can and was very pleased with the quality of service, professionality and skill of both doctors who worked on me, would recomend to absolutely everyone and will be driving from Auckland for my future dental care, I also had alot of anxiety around dentist visits which were put at ease

The Emergency dentist UPSTAIRS on Angelsea st. If you want friendly professional dental care, with an awesome team then look no further. What was to be a frightning experiance for myself and to most i would think, having 27 teeth extracted and walking out with dentures the same day, to be a comforting experiance, with my needs and comfort their top priority. All information i needed was made clear to me and helped with my adjustment to having new teeth. I highly recommend going to the team USTAIRS at Hamilton Dental Emergency for all dental work, you and your family may require. They also really made sure that i could get the work done that i needed, by doing whatever they could to help me out with advice on paying the costs. 5 stars all day team. After a traumatic accident, I went to hospital they referred me to Hamilton emergency dental. Rahul Gautam, my teeth were splinted, root canal treated, bleached and crowned. Very professional team work, fast and efficient. happy with the result. recommend them,

Hi, Thankyou thankyou THANKyou for taking me in quickly yesterday and firstly, advising me on the options for my broken tooth, and then doing the work so well... This was a rogue tooth that took them 1/2 an hour to get out with stops along the way that we all needed... Despite the extra time and effort, They only charged what they quoted... I really appreciate that. The whole process from parking to driving off was brilliant and joking and compassionate procedures were just normal for all three of them... Lilly was a blessing and even though we travelled from Waihi for this emergency, we will definately always call on these great Dentists when we need them.... THANKYOU TEN stars..... ;-)

I had really a fantastic experience at this clinic. Dr Rahul has extensive knowledge and he is down to earth friendly person. Attended after a silly sporting injury, the care and quality of treatment was top notch and I am really grateful for the efforts of all the staff. Would highly recommend for anyone in a similar position or anyone looking for quality dental work.

Big ups to these guys. Had an accident with a tooth over Labour weekend which was causing me a hell of a lot of pain. Now sadly the tooth couldn't be saved but the attitude of the staff was awesome and within an hour (unbooked) I was on my way. RECOMMENDED

I was informed by my Dentist Overseas that I needed my wisdom tooth extracted. I was scared to have any extractions therefore as usual was trying to postpone my dental work. After few years of ignorance i started having consistently painful wisdom tooth with food getting stuck in that area due to overcrowding. I knew about this practice through my other friends who had positive feedback regarding Dr. Gautam's skill as a dentist. I gathered myself and explained the story about my Wisdom tooth. I was offered a detailed explanation regarding my problem and also offered oral sedation. I felt confident with him and agreed to have my wisdom tooth extracted. The tooth was extracted very comfortably in very less time unlike other stories where I have heard that dentists take ages to take a tooth out. i have no post operative complications thereafter from the procedure after 6 months.I need another wisdom tooth extracted and am confident to go to this practice again.

Amazing people. I came in here balling my eyes out, as i had horrific tooth pain and needed a emergency extraction. But i needed help from winz. They gave me a free injection to tide me over till it was all organized. As the tooth was so damaged the extraction was difficult and the numbing wasn't really working. They calmed me and did it very quickly. Would recommend to everyone!!

Great team here, Was able to have a tooth extracted the same day as calling and the staff were fabulous! Quick, easy and efficient!! Special mention to Lily your customer service and assistant was amazing!

The docter is really very professional amd the staff is really very helpful. I was in severe pain before visiting them but after the treatment of 1 hour my pain was absolutely gone. Its on the first floor and the doctors name is Dr.Rahul and Dr.Smith.

Don't worry we shall pass on your message to your original dentist . If you still have any confusion come and talk to receptionist between 8-5 pm, or otherwise be ready for legal action for defaming. I came to see Dr Rahul Gautam around 10yrs ago as an emergency patient with a toothache and can't praise enough the entire team as they understood my requirements and my expectations. Since then I have never had the need to see any other dentist . Beware to see the right dentist and ask for him or Lily when you come on reception 😂😁🤣

Dr. David Smith was very careful and was able to see me and clean my teeth in the evening as a walk in patient. I would highly recommend him at Emergency Dentist.

I am an overseas student studying at Hamilton. I met with an accident while playing volleyball and ended up loosing my top front tooth. I was very stressed as dentists are very expensive in New Zealand as compared to my parent country. I was seen by a dentist in Hamilton and to my relief he informed me that my treatment will be covered under ACC but there will be shortfall to payover and above what ACC pays. This shortfall was approx $1200 and unfortunately being a student I was not able to afford meeting this shortfall. One of my colleague at Wintec referred me to Hamilton Dental Emergency and take a second opinion regarding treatment options and payment plans. During my consultation I was explained in detail about my injury, treatment options, expected outcome and to my relief the dentist assured me that if ACC approves my claim for injury I may not need to pay any shortfall. A treatment plan was sent to ACC and it was approved within two weeks. My treatment has been completed successfully and I am happy with the results. Most importantly I was not charged any shortfall. The location of the clinic is very central and was a walking distance from Wintec. I am confident to recommend anyone to visit Dr. Rahul Gautam for any dental problem.

These people have always gone above and beyond when I have had to deal with them. I have always found their prices very reasonable and they managed to see me, in their tight schedule, within a few hours as I was in tremendous pain. Do not be fooled by the place down stairs as they can't even share a car park and they were very rude. THESE GUYS UPSTAIRS ARE AWESOME.

Absolutely fantastic place, couldn't recommend them highly enough I had my wisedom tooth extracted and I'm a right baby when it comes to that kind of thing but I was put as ease and it was over before I knew it. My mouth is still numb but even if it hurt like hell once it wears off it wouldn't take away from how happy I was with there service

I was in terrible pain Friday night contacted Joanne Saturday morning she fitted me in, I needed a root canal Rahul prescribed me pain relief to get me through the night and he carried out the procedure for me on the Sunday, I have always had an absolute phobia of dentists but Rahul was amazing very thorough explained everything along the way I felt minimal pain during and after the procedure, Joanne was also amazing she was warm and empathetic she sat with me as she knew I was nervous, I will now continue to go to Rahul, you guys are fantastic, thank you so much :) P.S Joanne also contacted me the following day to make sure I was OK :)
