This is my first dental experience in Wellington and I am so lucky that I chose Capital Dental Petone. They have an amazing team! All the receptionists are super patient and full of thoughtfulness. As working hour restriction, they always contact me when they got better availability which made me feel cared. The hygienist (sorry I forgot to ask her name) is also lovely and patient. She gave my very detailed information about my teeth and gum that I never received before. She is really professional during the cleaning of the teeth and I quite enjoyed the whole process. She did a thorough cleaning to my teeth and I feel my teeth got a new life. 100% recommended if you are after a dental practitioner. Love it.

My partner came here for wisdom tooth removal and I've come for some fillings. We had two different dentists but both were great, explained what they were doing, really friendly and reassuring and gave us options to choose from. My partner in particular found this helpful as she is quite anxious about dental stuff. I was a bit worried I'd get told off for not going to the dentist for years but they were actually totally understanding and not judgemental at all, which was a relief. Also they are practical about the advice they give - working out what you can actually manage to do / what will be affordable not just telling you the ideal and leaving it at that.

Really rude receptionist does not apologies and takes ownership for her mistake was waiting on a quote she forgot to email me, she also cancel my booking because I was five minute late and she didn't explain. She also got me on a booking for both filling and cleaning on same day when I ask to get it done separately. Amazing service from the dentists but I was almost put off from using the service because of the lack of customer service I receive from the front staff.

Lawrence Fisher is the best dentist I have ever had. He is skilled, efficient and very gentle, as well as being extremely personable. I highly recommend him. For several years Lawrence tended to my teeth, and this year I have been fortunate to have Tiffany take over my care. I choose this dentist as I had been to many, including an expensive one in town and two overseas, and wanted somewhere locally recommended. I read these reviews and am so happy I did. I have recently had the best dental experience at Capital Dental in Petone. My dentist was extremely reassuring and pleasing to talk to. He gave me all the options, details, costs and left me feeling very informed about the process and options. The cost was very reasonable. Would definitely recommend this to anyone. A few years ago I did need a root canal on a back molar and they were not able to do it at Petone. I did have to travel into Wellington to get this done at one of their sister branches, which was a bit of a pain - but I guess it's also good they're part of a network so I did have an option.

I saw Clifford for a routine check up and was really impressed. The other reviews are correct: really thorough, great bedside manner, and reasonable prices. Can't fault the place.

I've been a client of Capital Dental for several years now and have found the staff to be a wonderful team of caring people, who make you feel welcome and immediately put you at ease. Some of my extended family also attend Capital Dental, including my elderly parents (89yrs), who are doted on when they attend appointments. Having experienced the level of excellence at which the therapists work, Capital Dental will remain my first choice. Marija is my hygienist, and has kindly guided me back to full dental health, showing me best techniques and tools to keep my mouth healthy. She's always pleased to see me, and engages on a personal level - I'm never just another set of teeth! Her work is gentle but thorough, and she chats her way through each session, taking your mind off the process of cleaning. I thoroughly recommend these professional people - you won't regret it! I forgot to mention they are also competitively priced, and the reception staff are pleasant and accommodating.

Priya's dental care was great. I loved her demeanor and the way she explained things. However, I was taken aback when told the cost of my filling. No local anaesthetic or x-ray, $170. This seems pretty steep. Not sure I'll be going back.
