Very friendly staff. Had to get an emergency appointment and last minute wisdom tooth removal. Dentist, and dental assistant were very kind, talkative & caring. The receptionist called me the following day to see how I was doing which was very lovely. Not my usual dentist but highly recommend!

Having a wisdom tooth extracted on Sunday 27 March I was feeling very anxious, however as soon as arrived at the reception the service I received was absolutely warm and welcoming, this eased my anxiousness so much. Thank you reception team. The whole establishment has a relaxing atmosphere, lovely decor. A huge thank you to Neil and Ardi for your fantastic expertise, very painless and efficient procedure. You both made my experience……a happy experience! Looking forward to my personal plan in a couple of weeks. Thanks Lou for the follow up call to see how I was feeling , I really appreciated that 👍 Last of all thanks to Kat whom I first made contact with on Saturday 26 March, after my conversation with Kat I had no hesitation to visit Naenae Dental Clinic. 😀 Thank you so much Team

Cannot say enough positive things about NaeNae dental clinic, I was a new client calling in pain, from the moment Lou answered the call it was like receiving a warm hug, she was so lovely and genuinely concerned (making people feel calm!) Lou recommended Dr. Collette said she was available and was lovely, professional and gentle. I need to give a HUGE shout out to Dr. Collette she is incredibly good at her job and was so kind and caring to a crying and terrified middle aged patient. Re booked me and then even congratulated me for turning up as she knew how scared I was! Phenomenal work I didn’t feel anything, lovely team can highly recommend if you are nervous, anxious and need work done! My husband and I are SO thrilled to have found a wonderful dentist! Wasn't too sure what to expect today as this was my first visit. Was greeted and seated by a friendly reception. Collected by the DA (Blanche) and taken to meet the dentist after that. All I can say is WOW!!! Dr. Ahmad is a dentist you want looking after your teeth. His customer services and experience is outstanding. He is very down to earth and doesn't sugar coat what needs to be done. The truth in an honest and open, friendly approach and easy to understand what he was explaining. He has an awesome DA who is very friendly, polite and welcoming. Highly recommend this Dentist and DA for your visit. I'll be back again to visit this Dentist and DA for my follow up visits. Thanks Dr. Ahmad and Blanche for an outstanding first experience at your practice.

I cannot recommend this practice enough. I have spent time at many different clinics and nothing compares to the quality compassion and caring nature of all staff at Naenae dental. I don't usually keep on top of my dental care but because of the way I am treated and looked after at Naenae dental I am quite happy to keep up regular appointments. Dr Ahmed is fantastic and I feel like he really cares about his patients wellbeing. Never have my teeth been in such good condition.

I lived in Europe, Australia and New Zealand and I am confident to say that Naenae Dental Clinic is one of the best dental clinic I have been to. If you are after a highly skilled dentist who can explain procedures in a simple manner for you to make informed decisions about your dental health, I highly recommend Dr Ahmad Al-Hassiny. If dentistry was an ecosystem, Dr Al-Hassiny would be at the top of the food chain!

Liked that I was able to book online. The appointment allowed me to get an understanding of what work needed to be done and what the cost would be. The staff were very knowledgeable, friendly and talked me through what they were doing so I was aware of what was being done.

Hello all, I would just like to say a thank you to Hamid(dentist), Claudia(aide),Mustafa(maker of teeth and man who like me enjoys peanut butter and banana together lol) Sally( puts you in dream land) Lou (follow up chick to make sure youre ok) and all the staff at both Naenae and Wainuiomata for being a great experience ( never thought i would ever say that about dentists) but the professionalism and friendly comfortable atmosphere the staff put you in make them the top in their field. Naenae Dental have done an amazing job with my teeth. I started visiting them over 7 years ago and at that stage my mouth was in alot of trouble. With the combined effort of Hamed as my dentist and his team of very knowledgeable and skilled hygienist they have really turned my mouth around. The front of house staff are so pleseant at every visit and extremely helpful in finding appointment times that fit in with my busy work schedule. I cannot recommend Naenae Dental enough. Having had a traumatic night and panicked morning trying to find an emergency dentist to assist with a severe toothache, Naenae Dental Clinic were not only the easiest to find a time on the day but made multiple efforts within the day to organize an earlier time for me. This was done without even having spoken to me, having been from an online booking. This is incredible service. They were very humane and caring on the phone. The interior was relaxing despite being in pain. The wall monitor with informative video shorts on Dental care was actually very well put together and entertaining. As a first time client, it was simple to sign in. The root canal procedure was the most pleasant experience I've had at a doctor. The doctor explained thoroughly and concisely what my options were. The actual procedure was painless and pleasant. It was both the staffs caring manner and professional confidence that put me at ease during a stressful time. I am so appreciative of all of the care given by the staff, from whomever looked at my web appointment at 4am, to the front desk to the assistants and to the doctor. I do trust and highly recommend using them for any Dental procedure.

Had an implant done to replace a missing tooth which I lost when I was 15. Had not eaten from left side of my mouth for 30 years. Dr Karson Low and Aaadi (with the technical expertise of Dr Ahmad Al-Hassiny) have given me a new tooth. All were excellent professionals and worked with me for 6 months. I am very grateful for their professionalism, empathy, understanding and great technical expertise. I'm ecstatic about the result. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Fantastic to have been able to make a last minute appointment to have my sensitive tooth treated. Neil was great and very informative which put me at ease before having a filling. His assistant Aadi was also great. I have no hesitation recommending this dental practice, the care they provide is brilliant!

Had a fabulous experience at Naenae Dental Clinic- I had terrible pain in one of my teeth, called one evening and had an appointment the next day for a root canal. I have had terrible anxiety around going to the dentist and have put it off for years- but Dr Karson and his wonderful assistant made me feel at ease straight away, explained step by step my treatment plan and was upfront with the cost. I am also pregnant, and they kept me informed and comfortable. I left with a numb mouth but so happy with my experience. Would 100% recommend!

I have just had new dentures made by Mustafa Ali, I found him to be very professional and caring. His workmanship was 100%. I highly recommend him and Naenae Dental Clinic.

Highly recommended and a very helpful team. Had severe tooth ache due to wisdom tooth. Finding emergency was very difficult during lockdown. After neglecting my teeth for many years I've spent a decent chunk of time here over the last few years. Every time I've been the team is more than welcoming, friendly and professional. Through fillings, extractions and now an implant to replace a missing tooth, I have absolutely no complaints. I really appreciate how they even call me the day after my appointments when I've had any sort of procedure to check how I'm doing. Their business hours are perfect for anyone who works a 9-5 with multiple late nights and both weekend days available for appointments.

Got my wisdom tooth taken out and was the best dentist experience I've ever had, very professional and didn't take long and even got asked if I wanted music playing so I had bob marley jamming while getting my tooth taken out which was choice. I can't remember the guys names that were taking my wisdom tooth out but done a bludy good job especially in the time they done it much appreciated and highly recommend going here to get any work done to your teeth 👍

I had Intense pain in one of my teeth and need it extracted ASAP, I emailed A bunch of dentist in the Wellington area outlining what the problem was. Not only was Naenae Dental Clinic the first to reply (quickly, on a Sunday), they offered the best price and the earliest appointment (the very next day in the morning) which was a huge relief. Dr Ahmad Al-Hassiny preformed the extraction, he was very professional and put in a lot of effort to make sure I was comfortable and to make sure I felt no pain. Very comfortable dental experience over all. Highly Recommend.

I was very anxious about my visit to the dentist today knowing that I most likely would need to get a tooth pulled out. Needed to get a sore Wisdom tooth dealt with, tried to see Wainuiomata Dental who couldn't see me but they were able to book an appointment with Naenae Dental as they are all under the same ownership. Managed to see Yvonne 24hrs later, she is very good and didn't rush the job. Kept stopping to make sure I was ok as it was an extraction procedure but managed to get the problem tooth out like a pro.

The two fillings I had were well done, no complaint with that. But the technician lost control of the polishing tool and it skipped across my face taking the skin off, leaving a red welt nearly 2 inches long from my lip downwards. I amend from 1 star to 3. The clinic would be worth another star or two if I didn't have a scar as souvenir. I amend this review to reflect the fact that after I posted the original one, the clinic did contact me several times and were most solicitous. They refunded the price of the filling that did the damage and did several follow ups. I think they were genuinely trying to do what could be done to be sure I was ok. An accident can happen, though it shouldn't, but it was the initial non-action of it that caused my anger. I think it was not an intentional dismissal, but rather staff not knowing quite how to handle it and just letting it slide. The owner rectified that and I'm sure that if there are any further unfortunate incidents - which there probably won't be, as the clinic does strive to give good service - the matter will be immediately attended to. Live and grow.

I have been extremely nervous about going to the dentist but the wonderful Ahmad and Blanche have taken such great care of me. They do everything they can to make me feel at ease and reassure me about what is going to happen. I recently came into this facility to get a checkup and general work. This place is head and shoulders above anywhere else I have been. It's always nerve wracking going somewhere new but the receptionist made me feel right at home straight away - the front office often sets the precedent for the rest of your experience and your team are awesome! so welcoming and on to it. I had to bring my newborn along with me and all of the staff were warm and receptive to our little guy which made the visit so much easier than i thought it would be! I'm looking forward to my follow up appointment.

Excellent customer service and lovely staff! I went in for an extraction and as nervous as I was to have it done, the procedure was painless and the dentist made me as comfy as possible. To my surprise it was also very cheap with no hidden costs. The dentist had outlined the full cost of the procedure before he started work which is something I really appreciated. Definitely recommend!

My first time to Naenae dental clinic a few weeks ago. I have been appointment to Dr Yvonne and her 2 assistants Olga and Tanziba. Together they delivered outstanding work on 2 of my teeth. Lovely and professional service. 10/10. Also great value for money. I am booked in for a checkup and a clean with a hygienist in the near future. Highly recommend Naenae dental clinic.

Wonderful, could not recommend them more. Not only was I seen on a Sunday for an urgent appointment but the dentist was perfect. I am very anxious about the dentist and he put me at ease, did not criticize me or try to push anything extra on me and always let me know i was in control. Since arriving from the UK I have struggled to find a dentist I feel comfortable with. Emergency treatment brought me to Naenae Dental Clinic but the highly competent, extremely knowledgeable, passionate and trustworthy service I revived from Dr Ahmad Al-Hassiny and the team is the reason I will stay. Dr Al-Hassiny has a excellent manner with patients and provides a level of compassion that is extremely helpful for those who are a bit nervous. I have experienced excellent customer service across the Naenae dental team and would highly recommend to anyone seeking a new dentist or advanced or specialist dental treatment.

Just wanted to say thank you to Tia for providing an exceptional hygienist experience. She was thorough and gentle. Overall I have been really pleased to have switched to Naenae Dental they are superstars when it comes to customer service and excellent modern dental care.

I called Naenae Clinic at 430pm today and was offered an emergency appointment for 530pm (how good?!) So thankful because I was in so much pain! I really dislike coming to the dentist! The only time i go is when I’m experiencing pain which is terrible. This appointment is by far my favourite!! I was greeted by Liam and Jeanette, they both had me in fits of laughter throughout most my of my appointment! Ensured i was so comfortable, thoroughly explained everything, talked to me throughout the dreaded numbing injection stuff (the bit I hate the most) even threw on some six60 music (who doesn’t LOVE Six60?!) This place is always so immaculate! The real winners here though, are the staff! So thankful for a great experience. Liam and Jeanette - thank you so much!!

Just got back home after an extraction. Like a lot of people, I have had terrible experiences in the past and was convinced that every dentist appointment would result in pain. Dr Liam and his lovely Dental Assistant Shameran were amazing! Dr Liam walked me through everything so I understood what was happening. He made sure I was comfortable and I felt as though I had some control during the appointment which is great for someone with dental anxiety. Shameran was an absolute delight, even going as far as offering my support person a cuppa. She was great at her job, always anticipating what Dr Liam would need even before he knew himself it seemed. No pain during the procedure, and fair price for the amazing skill and tech they have. I am enthusiastic to book for a consultation and make a proper dental plan. First time I have ever been able to say that. Thank you so much!

Very happy with Naenae Dental Clinic! I've been to many dentists that just check your teeth and don't give you much discussion or options where to go to from there. My dentist Ahmad always goes the extra mile to sit you down and make you feel at ease and explain everything that is happening and where to next for future appointments etc. His dental assistant is really lovely too and always has a friendly smile. I have been coming to Naenae Dental Clinic for a few years and have found them to be outstanding. The Receptionists are helpful and friendly and make an effort to give you an appointment asap. Today I saw Dr Alex, she and Candy were kind and provided clear options in a professional and friendly, caring way. I couldn't recommend Naenae Dental Clinic more highly.

My husband is in a lot of pain with a sore tooth. I phoned Naenae Dental Centre this morning and they were able to give him an appointment tonight which is so good as he has just started a new job and cannot take time off work during the day. They are warm and professional.

DEFINITELY RECOMMED THIS DENTAL CLINIC. Like most of us I hated going to the dentist, was never a nice experience when I was young, even with the cotton wool butterflies that were made. Since going to Naenae Dental Clinic and seeing Ahmad Al-Hassiny (3 times now) there is no more anxiety or stress involved. Each time you are welcomed, any procedure required is explained beforehand and you get to lie back and listen to your own choice of music. Cant express how great Dr Liam is. I always have trouble getting teeth out and was really nervous. He took the time to ensure I was comfortable and explained everything and took x rays to ensure the tooth would come out easy. It sure did within a couple of mins (last time I had a tooth removed it took over an hour). Definitely recommend anyone to go see him. I will be coming back for further work.

I started going to Naenae Dental Clinic a couple of years ago, and am now under the care of Dr Hamid Al-Hassiny, a dentist with vast knowledge and expertise. His assistant Monique is outstanding too, always skilful and friendly. I have a strong gag reflex, so must be one of the most difficult clients imaginable, but Hamid and Monique are always patient and encouraging. Naenae Dental Clinic is space-age modern and ultra-hygienic, yet the charges are fair and reasonable. They're well organised too, so that there is little waiting before appointments. Strongly recommended.

Hi had a hygienist appointment with Tia first thing in the morning and wow what a way to start the day! She was wonderful to chat with, made me feel comfortable and was very thorough - totally pain free. Highly recommend

I had some work done at Naenae Clinic for the first time last week and I was very impressed with all the staff and the presentation of the clinic, very modern facilities and equipment and the open layout is great. As soon as you walk into the clinic you are greeted warmly by the front office staff by name. Their dental professionals always explain all of the options available to me before starting any treatment, and its painless too! I highly recommend this amazing team!

I had 3 of my wisdom teeth taken out here recently , the servive was incredible, from the lady on the front desk to doctor Liam's and his lovely assistant, they did everything to ensure that I was comfortable and happy. Cant rate the clinic highly enough. Had some major work done 3 weeks ago, and the follow up phone calls meant alot. As soon as you walk in your greeted by the nice reception staff. ( with luvly teeth lol), then going through to the appointment its self , woth orsum dentist and luvly assistants. Thankyou to the team out there.

Could not recommend any other Dental clinic. Both my parents are currently getting their teeth sorted. The service has been amazing, and has been such an easy process for the work that has needed to be done. Shout out to Dr Haidar a.k.a the oracle ;)and Divya, you guys are awesome and make a great team.

Only in the country for 12 months and all my dental requirements seemed to co-inside. What a breath of fresh air. I was fortunate to have Ahmad as my dentist. I have never ever in my life left a dental surgery having felt like I enjoyed the experience, a real spin out. You have a gem here Nae Nae dental clinic, make sure you keep him happy. I had the last of my root canal procedure finished yesterday and a filling done, I swear to you I almost nodded off at one point I was so relaxed. You guys are one of the more expensive dentists in the area but worth every penny. Great attitiude, great manner, first class work and advice, great customer service. If I could give you more than 5 stars I would. Ben

As somebody who’s been in and out of dental/orthodontic treatment for nearly 8 years now, I can honestly say I’ve never had an experience that comes even slightly close to the friendly and professional environment here. My regular orthodontist is in Christchurch, and when I needed some emergency work done I was able to get an appointment here within an hour of calling. Naturally, I was apprehensive, as the only thing I’ve had worse experience with than dental care is emergency dental care, and I was pretty much dreading the whole affair. Honestly, I couldn’t have pictured a more opposite result to the one I got. Friendly doesn’t even begin to describe the staff and they explained my issues to me clearer than any of my orthodontists ever have. I wish I could go back in time and tell 11 year old me to go straight here for all my dental work, i think it would have saved me a lot of stress. If you’re afraid or even just think slightly negatively of orthodontic/dental care, i couldn’t recommend this place enough!

My experience at NaeNae Dental Surgery was exceptional! I would like to thank Beth for being kind and understanding while managing my fear of needles. On arrival I was meet with a warm and inviting smile by the receptionist checking me in. The treatment process was thoroughly explained and any and all questions I had answered, with the treatment itself being pretty painless 😌 Never once did I feel I was an inconvenience. On leaving I was seen to by another lovely receptionist. I would highly recommend NaeNae Dental Surgery!! Thank You 😊

I am a terrible paitent, I am seriously upset just thinking about a dentist let alone going to one. I needed treatment and the only one I could get into was Naenae. From the first initial friendly contact from the front team to the dentist I was incredibly impressed. He explained everything to me and I did explain to him how I cope by crying, thats what I do and I didn't want him to be upset by this. He was very understanding, kept me informed of everything he was doing, asked how I was coping. I can not recommend this team highly enough. Thank you everyone who works they for your wonderful caring service.

First visit here today after being recommended by an acquaintance. I'm a serious coward when it comes to dentists but was put at ease immediately and despite having to have a tooth extracted it was (for a dentist visit) a pleasant experience. I was advised throughout what was happening and talked through my future requirements. I'm also impressed that they can give you a precise price for each treatment - it means I can proceed with my treatments at a pace to suit my pocket. Thank you!!!

I haven't seen a dentist in many years. Grew up with a natural fear of the dentist having dealt with the 'murder house' dental nurse! I rang up the friendly front office staff and booked an exam. I saw Dr.Ahmad and his dental assistant Candy and they made a plan for me. I felt so comfortable and even booked myself in for an extraction. They made what would normally be a terrifying experience, quick and painless! Highly recommend these experienced professionals!

Over the last few years I've had all my dental issues resolved at Naenae Dental. I needed to have two implants, two crowns and another crown with a cantilevered bridge. That's a lot of work and pretty tricky stuff. Hamid and the team did a superlative job using lots of tech that other dental practices don't have (I checked). I particularly appreciated the detailed explanation of options and clear communication throughout the whole process. Fantastic clinic! Went to get a tooth extracted a couple of months back now and was happily surprised to find friendly, professional staff from customer service at the reception to the dentist and nurse attending to my procedure ... dentist took on board my requests regarding what needed to be done and was thoroughly informative and helpful the duration of my visit!

MY experience at naenae dental clinic was outstanding. Was visiting from sydney and had a toothache and was seen by Haidar Al-Hassiny and his amazing assistant Rayan who was caring and friendly the whole time. Would definitely recommend the clinic to anyone

I had horrible wisdom pain and couldn’t get an appointment at my dentist to remove it until December, Liam looked over my tooth took some x-rays and did a risk assessment and turns out the tooth wasn’t as bad as my dentist had thought! This is all thanks to the great equipment and team they have I highly recommend to anyone super polite and kind!

I had a wonderful experience with Dr Alex and Emma- professional, caring and genuine! I don't know what I was worried about. They even phoned me the next day to make sure everything was ok and checking I was comfortable. I would absolutely recommend this practice.

Very satisfied first time patient: phoned on off-chance I could get an appt for a broken tooth and within 45 minutes was 'in the chair'. From the initial phone call ,through the surgery (tooth needed to be extracted) to settling the bill I was treated with kindness, good humour and respect. The dentist (Ahmad) fully discussed options and the agreed treatment in a competent 'straight up' manner and like the rest of the team was totally professional with that touch of humanity. I’m not even sure I’ve got the right terminology but this teeth isolation practise was orsum for me as a patient! And just to prove it, I’ve attached a pic of my fabulously, orsum, friendly and 2nd to none professional team going about BAU. And because I’m a novelist when it comes to providing voluntary feedback (and only when I think Customer Service exceeds all my expectations, which I have very high standards btw), I can not recommend enough how excellent this group of people are! Right from Hamid (the man that works his magic, supported by leading edge technology available to market) to the wonderful and personable ladies at reception. If you are thinking of moving your dentistry for whatever reason, then you need not look no further. This is not an ad, but a very satisfied client sharing her experience here at NDC and how compared to other dentists both in the Hutt, Welly town and from the Deep South - Queenstown, NONE will come close to this Dental Centre! In particular my chair side team of experts whom I am privileged to have treat me as their client and how I have come to unequivocally trust that they have my best interest in mind over the past month with more visits to come. They go so far to provide their wooziest client with a blankie and heat pack and let me play my music full noise) with a genuine NO PROBLEM. Many many thanks to you all. As much as I hate going to the dentist, I thoroughly enjoyed my appointments with these doctors. All the doctors and staff were extremely professional and very warm from the moment I walked into their clinic. I'm very happy to finally have a dentist who dont rush me through appointments and take their time to look after me. 5/5

Thank you to the team at Naenae Dental. From the first visit to have a broken tooth extracted to the full plate replacement and implants the service was impeccable. Fantastic modern surgery, great staff and fantastic dentists. No hidden costs as quotes were provided for the whole process.
