It can be really daunting booking a dental appointment, especially with knowing that you have work to do and you're new to the city! Everything about my experience with Tooth Fairy was excellent; easy booking, great staff and a smooth, pain-free appointment. I was pretty scared about having a tooth removed but Dr Alex Booth made me feel comfortable and did the procedure super quick and I didn't experience any pain afterwards. Prices were reasonable. Will def continue using this practice!

The staff at Tooth Fairy Dental are fantastic. I am an anxious patient and they made me feel at ease from day one. Dr Joy Dawson is a fabulous dentist, and she explains things really well so you understand the treatment you are receiving.

Always efficient service at Tooth Fairy Dental. Joy did a great job fixing a crack I had in my tooth, she explained the process thoroughly to me and gave me options for treatment. Thanks Joy.

Warm, friendly front desk staff at the Mount (Belinda & Baelea). Fast efficient, service. I was able to get a same day booking after work for an emergency extraction. Dr Alex Booth is amazing, flawless extraction with no aftercare issues at all. Great price for excellent service. I am a very nervous participant in dental care and so was very apprehensive about having to go . My usual dentist was away , which made me worse than ever . Anyway the whole experience was positive . As I am disabled, it has previously been quite difficult to gain access to the clinic . This time a receptionist helped me to get my disability scooter through the door . Before I went into the examination room I was welcomed by whom I thought was the dental assistant, but it was actually the Dentist Alex . Because I was so nervous , I wasn’t listening properly and when I went into the surgery, I realised it was actually the Dentist . This made me feel appreciative and it was a nice touch. I needed to have a crown fitted to my right front tooth . Everything was clearly explained to me about the steps needed to be taken in the process of fitting the cap . Before the injection was inserted, numbing solution was first put on the gum and the injection inserted just a little at first and then a few minutes later the entire injection of local anaesthetic . Because of the procedure was to be done on one of my front teeth, it was quite a sensitive area and although initially quite tender worked out well. A temporary filling was inserted to last the next two weeks . This was the first part of the whole procedure over ! The second part was inserting and securing the final finished cap . This was completed efficiently and professionally . Thank you to everyone involved in my dental experience from Alex the Dentist, the dental assistant, receptionists etc . Now it appears you have a ramp which was great for exciting The Tooth Fairy premises . Overall a friendly but very professional experience . Regards and thanks, Regards, Emma Wolfe

Lovely helpful friendly staff. Always diffident visiting the dentist but such caring lovely staff makes the visit pleasant. I've been with Tooth Fairy for many years and have been pleased with the care they take here.

Always a pleasant experience at the tooth fairy. I had to get a cavity filled which was a painless experience. Would be good if they gave teeth a quick clean after check up instead of always referring you to an expensive hygienist.

I recently had my regular annual check up and hygienist appt at Mount Maunganui. Sadly my dentist is away at the moment so I saw another member of the Tooth Fairy team. Kevin was just as pleasant and thorough as Tom. Very reassuring and the visit was as previously experience, as pleasant as a dentist visit can be. None of us like to go to the dentist but when you do, it is an added bonus to be treated by courteous staff who genuinely have your dental health and overall health at heart. My hygienist was again as gentle as ever, and I left feeling my mouth was lovely and fresh. If you look after your teeth, they look after you. The team at Tooth Fairy Dental believe in that too and help you achieve excellent oral health. A good measurement of customer satisfaction is the "friends and family test" and as you can guess, I recommend all my friends and family to this dental team as they are affordable, accommodating and pleasant with it all. Appreciate the mahi with my extraction. I was able to book in that same afternoon. I was expected to pay $500+ for two extractions. The front staff was honest and asked if I had a community services card. I said yes. Only cost me $39. Stoked!

My experience has been nothing less than 100% positive. All of the staff have been welcoming and Alex, my dentist, went the extra mile with a smile every time. Thank you

I have had terrible experiences with dental treatment in the past but when I had no option but to go I booked online with the tooth fairy and it was new years eve. Well this was a totally new experience for me from the front desk to the dental chair it was just unbelievably wonderful so I have found my dental service and am more then happy to recommend it to anyone like me with a bad past time. The premises is always clean and tidy. The staff are always friendly and helpful and go beyond. Tom Urie is an awesome dentist and let's you know what he is doing while working on you, and is quite funny... If you can understand the staunch Scottish accent 😁 highly recommend Tooth Fairy Dental and Tom Urie. 🤙

Tooth Fairy Dental, Mt Maunganui are great!! Meletta was absolutley amazing. I was extremely nervous and anxious, but she helped me to feel relaxed and comfortable. She fixed some cosmetic work I had done overseas and went above and beyond to get my teeth looking perfect. I could't be happier. Highly recommend thanks.

I have always had the best dental experiences at the Mount Tooth Fairy! I have been a patient of Dr Tom Urie for 12 years now and he is second to none! I now live in Opotiki but will always make the trip to see Tom because I have the faith and trust needed in an excellent dentist knowing that I will get the best and most gentlest treatment possible. Everyone at the dental practice is friendly and professional. Dr Tom Urie is an awesome dentist and Nikki Fraser does a fantastic job as hygienist. I'd never go to another dental practice again and I'd recommend Tooth Fairy at the Mount to everyone!

The only dentists that I have ever looked forward to going back too! Joy is a complete professional and calmly talks you through the process as she goes. Her quality of work is excellent as is her friendly approach. I have been putting off having a tooth removed for 6 months because I was so afraid. Joy Dawson was amazing. I hardly felt a thing. She carefully explained all the little processes along the way. She was extremely confident. If you need a tooth pulled - don't be scared just go and see Joy she is brilliant.

Dale seems to put great importance on providing his patients with excellent oral care as well as getting to know them on a personal level. I have had the privilege of working for Tooth Fairy Dental Centre for about a year now. After working in The States at a dental practice for five years I was pleasantly surprised to see how similar the dentistry was here. I have been impressed with Tooth Fairy and its staff and how the practice is ran on all levels. When working for a company you see everything first hand and I would highly recommend to people to come see the dentists at Tooth Fairy for excellent dental care.

It was a very good and painless experience. Both the dentist and the receptionist was very nice and patient, and the dentist removed my tooth very fast.

I used to hate going to the dentist but Joy makes the experience much more bearable. She goes out of her way to explain each step of the process (which I appreciate), even the injections aren't so bad. Joy's the best dentist I've seen by far!!!

I have never really enjoyed visiting the dentist (like most!) but since moving to the Mount I have found the experience much less daunting thanks to the awesome team at Tooth Fairy Dental.

Pleased as punch with the prompt email responses and jolly phone calls from Belinda & Tiffany. Makes all the difference to have staff that answer queries promptly, positively, affirmatively. So knowledgeable and kind. This is even before I have even had them look in my mouth. The cost for wisdom teeth removal looks eztravagantly less than Auckland. Very fair priced dentist with alot of care & attention to detail. Being a proper adult now- I can't wait to have my teeth pulled out at my expense! I haven't bothered keeping up my dentist appointments over the years in the past as never really settled on anyone I felt comfortable going to.. Finally came across these guys and have now locked in with a regular dentist for the past few years.. very professional and super friendly - shiny smile from now on!
