D.I had a tooth extraction done at Tahunanui dental centre and I am very grateful they were able to fit me in so quickly as i was in so much pain. I saw the dentist Joyce and her assistant Liz and they are definitely one hell of a team. Joyce was so gentle with the injection and extraction I did not feel a single thing throughout the appointment! I have been terrified of the dentists all my life but now I feel much more at ease- Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a great dentist!
A.Previous reviewer must have had a different receptionist because I found Trish on reception SO outstanding that I moved dentist to join the practice.
I live in Nelson so there are plenty of more convenient practices closer to me, but the care I’ve received from Joyce & Liz (dentist & chair side assistant) has been exceptional & I would highly recommend to anyone :)

Absolutely painless tooth extraction, I was very nervous but both the dentist and assistant were very gentle, checking that i was okay and comfortable throughout.

K.Having spent all of my life deathly afraid of the dentist I have come away from this centre with a truely positive experience.
I had spent the weekend in tremendous pain, called the centre and was welcomed by Trish the receptionist she was friendly and kind and has a way with customer service that is so warm it’s remarkable as a recruiter this is something for which I have very high standards, standards that were easily exceeded. They fit me in last minuet and I was seen by their lovely dentist Joyce and her wonderful assistant. I had my 3 year old son with me as was unable to find last minuet child care this wasn’t an issue they helped care for him during the procedure and were equally as patient with me and my phobias.
Now I’ve had a tooth extraction before and it left my mouth bruised and very sore however this time there is no bruising no pain only a very slight ache.
I would highly reccomend this surgery infact I already have to my nearest and dearest!
