D.Wow, the best experience I could hope for, given I needed my first tooth extraction. The tooth root was full of pus, the pressure pain was unbearable and I was miserable.
The team were professional, kind, empathetic and even snuck me in for extraction sooner than planned.
Though I'm missing a tooth, at least I can sleep and eat normally again, and I can put away the pilers I was seriously considering. Recommended if you need a professional team that care.
D.Fantastic people. Great dentist. Finally a place making "the dentist" not scary. The friendly faces when u walk in then the check up calls the very next day are nice. Good music 🎶 to. And the added Netflix.
K.I have spent a good portion of my life avoiding going to the dentist. Since going to Dental Associates Papamoa, my whole perspective has changed thanks to Namrita and the team. Namrita is so passionate about teeth, it is inspiring. Over the last 2 years, they have corrected my overbite and straightened my teeth. M.I have been avoiding dentists for about 10 years. I HAD to go as part of my tooth was black and I had been recommended to see Alex. He did an amazing job on my tooth. I didnt feel the anaesthetic needle or ANY of his movement. When anaesthetic wore off, i was still TOTALLY pain free. I am no longer going to avoid the dentist now that I found Alex! The reception was also very friendly and helpful. Thanks everyone!
C.I can't praise Dental Associates Papamoa enough. I have been fortunate in having Alex and his assistant Yvonne attend to my dental needs. Alex is very caring and explains everything that he needs to do and puts you at ease. The follow up call the next day to see you are pain free is so appreciated.
H.Thanks to Alex, ably assisted by Yvonne, for my recent root canal treatment. I had two teeth done over a number of weeks and I was very impressed with Alex’s technical expertise. The whole process was eased by the friendly, relaxed attitude of the team. I also appreciated the follow up phonecalls the day following each procedure to check how I was feeling - a nice touch!
A.I am the biggest wuss when it comes to my teeth, and Namrita is like an angel who made the entire experience comfortable and painless. I was also lucky enough to have Kerry there making me feel comfortable and supported. The entire team is amazing and so welcoming. They are the best, and will never go to another dentist again!

She does a through job and doesn’t skip over anything while explaining everything so easily. E.I read all the good reviews before i chose to come for my teeth treatment. Indeed, as expected, the service was excellent and all staffs were very professional. High recommendation for this place
C.Had a tooth abscess develop quickly so called Dental Associates for urgent treatment. Alex did quick consult which included all alternatives and placed me on antibiotics before any tooth extraction could proceed.
A week later I arrived for the extraction and was very impressed with all staff members. So friendly and caring. Alex was unsuccessful with extraction due to the intense pain of the abscess reforming and me not coping with this pain.
Another week of antibiotics and this time all done.
I had a total of about 6 injections to which I did not feel any which is a first from any Dentist.
Cannot recommend Alex highly enough for his awesome manner, professionalism and of course very reasonable cost.
d.Excellent dentists (Alex) highly recommend. Alex explains everything very clearly and you can watch exactly what’s happening (if you want to) with the latest technology. Really reasonable rates to boot. Had some bad dentistry experiences and I’m so pleased I’ve found them.
L.I was very apprehensive about having root canal work done but I need not have worried. Alex is amazing, and an awesome guy who put my mind at rest. The equipment is state of the art and the procedure was totally pain free. I would highly recommend this practice. Really nice people who made me feel completely at ease.
S.I highly recommend this practice, the treatment was very gentle and a breeze for both my daughter and I who don't like going to the dentist. Alex is an excellent dentist who puts his patients at ease and his dental nurse is very warm and friendly, couldn't have asked for better.

Absolutely highly recommend them to everyone I know.. I had a huge dental phobia but Alex and Yvonne made me so comfortable there.. they saved my teeth sorted me braces and things have been looking up since.. R.Late last year a front lower tooth was giving me pain and I could see I was going to have to visit a dentist . Something I dread because of COST . Being new to Tauranga, I by ended up in the care (or chair) of Dr Alex Santos of Dental Associates Papamoa. He confirmed I needed a refurbish of an old long forgotten root canal and it was going to cost me about a grand. So all my fears were realised, but as the treatment progressed, (and I counted the $$$) I started to appreciate the care and professionalism he was taking. Alex has a fancy camera /screen gadget which allows the patient to see exactly what is happening in their mouth, and to appreciate just how exacting and precise their/his work is. When I went back for a 6 free monthly check recently Alex was actually interested in my questions . He (and his nurse) are excellent and I would not go anywhere else

D.Never have I not hated going to the dentist! But after today...maybe not so much anymore! What an experience..no pain an watched it all on a TV screen! Was informed pre every step in the process of fixing my tooth. Didn't even feel the injection! Lovely staff. Updated technology to make the visit...well dare I say it...a learning and painless experience in every way. Thanx all
