A.I saw Esmari today im such a nervous person when it comes to the dentist, they were so gentle i got an appointment so quickly, highly recommended would go back again thank you Esmari.
R.Excellent dentist without a doubt. I have been seeing Dr Alwyn Prinsloo over 10 years (though admittedly not as regularly as I should have much to my detriment). His work on my teeth has always been excellent, along with his comprehensive explanations of the work involved and any potential issues surrounding that work. I have always felt safe in his professional care. The only issue I had was his reluctance to extract a slightly embedded wisdom tooth in my bottom jaw. He explained to me that 'no dentist should remove it unless they have surgical experience.' I was then directed to an oral surgeon, whom upon contacting informed me the initial consultation (3d xray, needs assessment etc) would cost $355 and then atleast $1000-1500 for the actual extraction of one (1)embedded wisdom tooth. I then contacted my other dentist (also highly professional and recommended) to get a 2nd opinion: After a specific wisdom tooth xray ($95 approx) he informed me he was happy to do the extraction as there was 'enough of a crown' for him to latch onto of the wisdom tooth (visible in the gum, not completely embedded). The next day and $439 dollars later, the tooth was out, painless and quick without a hitch, whole and intact. Suffice it to say, I was happy and so was my wallet.
