Karen Lee has been the dentist to 3 generations of my family for almost 30 years and I frequently recommend her. Within the extended family, she has completed many complex procedures that have saved teeth, however her primary focus is always on good oral hygiene and care to prevent problems occurring in the first instance. My adult children have seen her since childhood; her kindness and patience with them removed many of the terrors of dental visits. I have been particularly impressed with the many new technologies Karen has adopted and mastered over the years. This allows her a level of control over the quality of her work that not all dentists enjoy. Karen "re-straightened" my teeth several years ago to correct the effects of 40 years of life on my original orthodontic work. I continue to be thrilled with the results. She has made two crowns for me using her in-house technology. She is a skilled dentist, gentle but confident in her abilities. She is creative and always learning. Karen is ably assisted by Pauline, her chair side assistant and their teamwork is amazing. They are also lots of fun. Dental visits are therefore pleasant experiences and it's always good to see Karen for a checkup, knowing that our dental health is in good hands. We are grateful for her skill.

I was a patient of Karen Lee over 25 years ago, and even at that time I thought she was a top-notch Dentist. Then I went overseas for a long time, and have been to different dentists in both the Netherlands and Australia. A few years ago, I returned, and now both my brother and myself have Karen as our Dentist. In my critical opinion, she is one of the best Dentists in NZ, and probably the world. Karen takes time to discuss all the things (n.b. you would be surprised at some of the things that you have probably overlooked) that can directly affect the health of your teeth, and will give you printed recommendations as well. She is super intelligent, and highly ethical. Just for the record, we actually have to drive into Wellington, from a small village located quite a distance away, and there are numerous dentists much closer. Yes, we did actually call a couple of these originally - purely for doing simple check-ups, but after evaluating the responses (to our inquiries) decided "its just not good enough." So yes, it is a long way to travel, but our teeth are critical, so we're not willing to settle for less than the best. If you live in Wellington, then you are lucky to be so close to Karen. I'd highly recommend her to all. You won't regret it.

I've been seeing Karen since about April this year for fairly extensive clean up of decayed teeth , fastbraces and lots more to come . Karen and her assistant Pauline are very professional , extremely knowledgeable and highly skilled. She takes a holistic approach which is appreciated and I have no issues reccomending Karen Lee to ANYONE I know without hesitation . I used to be terrified of dentists ,Karen has eased that fear (mostly lol) .
