I did my limited medical test and chest x-ray here and they offered me excellent services. The staffs here are really nice and patient to give me instructions step by step. I was quite nervous about blood test because of needle, but the doctor started to have casual talks with me to distract my attention, which was really nice of her. They even guided me to the place to do X-ray. By the way, I got results back in 2 days, which was super fast. Staffs there are super professional, friendly, and efficient. I am so grateful for their work and I definitely would recommend it to my friends.

I couldn't not possibly overstate the warmth and excellence of the service my family have received in this incredibly welcoming place. Dr Lisa, Marg and Shea are a great team with love for people that is evident in every thing they do and the way they interact. Can guarantee that this is the best place for immigration health in Canterbury. Went in there, a bit nervous as I had not faced a medical test here in NZ before. Fast and efficient service, I was done with everything just over one hour and everyone took the time to talk to me and check in! I had a fantastic experience here. 10/10 bedside manner from all of the staff. :) Such a great team! I was feeling immensely stressed when I arrived because I got caught behind a train and couldn’t find the entrance but they were so understanding and accommodating of this, which I appreciate very much. By the end of the appointment, I felt really happy and reassured that things would go smoothly with my visa. My immigration medical was quick and they didn’t have me do any tests I didn’t need. I thought I needed another chest X-ray and they cared enough to stop me from getting another. No up-selling. Additionally, this was the first time in years I’ve had my blood drawn and didn’t get a massive haematoma. Way to go! I received a personal email from Dr. Amin the following day with my results. We chatted for a while about our pets and vegetarian-friendly restaurants. She really is lovely, as is the rest of the staff, and I will definitely return should I need to do another medical in the future.

I think it is one of the cheapest centers to take the tests requested by immigration, perhaps the cheapest in Christchurch. Still the service is excellent, all the staff are very professional and friendly; Marie, Shea and especially Dr. Lisa. I called because I urgently needed the exams and they gave me an appointment in half an hour so I am grateful. All the process is very fast (no more than 1 hour) and the results are the next day. My partner and I came to Christchurch Immigration health to get our full medical and chest X-ray's done for our application to extend our visa. Booking in was really quick and easy. The Medical was really easy and we were made to feel really comfortable and relaxed, I personally don't like having blood taken, but I was cared for really well and barely felt it at all. Dr. Lisa who completed the medical was so friendly and caring and gave my partner and I lots of support during the medical. The results got sent directly to Immigration NZ (so we only had to quote a reference no. on the Visa) and we got our results very quickly. Overall excellent experience, if you need a medical examination for immigration look no further, can't recommend them enough.

I had looked at a couple of other facilities that required you to send a deposit of several hundred dollars prior to your appointment, which really just struck me as unnecessary and a little fishy. The service that I experienced in CIHC was great. The nurses were friendly, accommodating, and really builds rapport with their patients/customers, and Dr. Lisa was superb! The facility was also clean and has that good atmosphere.
