Some of the staff here are your average Joe, but there are others that really make you feel they care. Stacey was one of my most favourite people I have ever come across in the NZ health services. She was so lovely, welcoming and considerate. Its a shame I only got to see her for my initial Ropata consultation, but if her work sees this- she deserves a raise for sure ❤️

We were 10minutes late for a daughter's immunizations once so they made us rebook. Last 5 times we've been there they've been 20-30min+ late to our appointments and that's not a problem for them. Doctors are great.👍🏻

It would be hard to find a better place to have your Covid19 vaccinations. Adrian, the Practice Manager, did such a great job on a super busy day. He provided fabulous entertainment to those in the queue, while kindly accommodating those around us who required greater care. I look forward to seeing his ballet routine on my next visit. Once inside, everything ran very smoothly with all staff providing efficient, professional care.

Awesome service. Turned up at short notice, and Adrian the practice manager, accommodated my urgent needs superbly. This is the second time I've used their service and recommend them highly. You should discount some of the other weird low rate reviews as they clearly indicate a cheap shot without the right of reply.

We are new to the area and the practice, but have only found the staff to be warm and helpful. Shoutout to the admins - I'm never worried that I am inconveniencing then.

I have always had a good experience with all staff at Ropata. Yes there is a long wait if you ring but this is because the receptionists are having to also deal with arriving and departing patients. That could be looked at but I am quite happy here

With trepidation I arrived at Ropata for my 2nd covid jab today. Trepidation was caused by torrential rain and long queue. However the Ropata vaccination team was friendly and well organized. They lined us up in appointment time order and the processed commenced. I was due to have my jab at 9.05. I was in the 20 minute waiting room at 9.06. Well done the Ropata team

Ka rawe! Had both my Covid vaccines here and it was run like a military operation. Super organised, amazing attitudes from all involved given the huge workload you've all been under. All the best for the rest of this mammoth task of getting everyone through ! Thank you

Had my 1st vaccination. Wasnt looking forward to it. Very efficient. Great entertainment at the front entrance by the Practice Manager, Adrian. Good distraction.

Nervously came to get my CV19 vax without an appointment (Mine was to be elsewhere near my office next week) Manager Adrian greeted me and said not a problem Thanks Ropata team you are a credit to the system !

I find booking through manage my health app much easier than trying to get an appointment via ph. The new location has a significantly improved parking area. The new premises also has an on-site cafe. This new premises has an amazing lot of sun and when visiting both the Dr and Nurse midwinter I felt extremely hot. Wear layers So you can regulate your temperature. The service provided by both Dr and Nurse is always professional and caring.

My Dr wasn't available so requested any Dr. The one who treated me was excellent, really professional and helpful. I had to Google Dr as I never used him before. All the Drs I've had over the decades have been amazing. Reception has changed polite and inviting. Nice new premises.

Never had a problem, staff always seem great whenever I'm there. Doctor is great. Can't understand why people feel so aggrieved to 'one star' the place. I'm sure if all the people who had good experiences there put a review online they would swamp the negatives!

Brilliant doctors. But you always end up waiting at least 15-30 minutes to see the doctor after your actual appointment time. Really good after hours facilities and good response for emergency appointments. I would totally recommend this to anyone who is looking for a new GP.

Went to get first Covid shot. Excellent service despite being in a pandemic. Hope Adrian gets his prize 😀

New building and facilities are great, never had a problem with admin, they often have a smile. Note you must book an appointment days in advance as other reviewers seem to believe that no appointment is necessary, then are disappointed..

Ropata has been my medical centre for about seven years now, and I have never felt like any particular drug or form of therapy was being pushed on me (as per Tom Acott's comment), and I always feel like I am being treated as an individual according to the symptoms I present. Perhaps it depends on which doctor(s) you see, but I've seen a few at Ropata since moving to Lower Hutt and all have been very good. My only gripe would be that you sometimes wait 30-40 minutes past your appointment time to see the GP, but I don't imagine that's unique to this centre...

My Dr at Ropata is brilliant. Has been my Dr, and my own family's Dr for close to a decade, and has always given 100% to us all. However, it is not 5 stars because others I have engaged with have been less so... lttle things - just got a statement, but there is no bank account number on it to pay them. Tomorrow I have to ring them... blah blah blah.... 1st world problem I know, but so close to brilliant it is scary.

I've been going here over 20 years now. I have always had a good experience. My Dr Paul Rowan is the best doctor there and Dr Painter is lovely too.

Excellent fast efficient service. Adrian kept those waiting for vaccination entertained.

Amazing doctors and kids area is good.brenda smith is by far best doctor iv ever known. They relly know everything an very helpful in every way they can be. Love these doctors AAAA+++++

Good friendly team and good service. Don't like that is $37 to see a doctor though as I find it hard to pay for it that's why I don't pat the same day
