I found that Duncan is obviously extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Podiatry. He was welcoming and friendly and quickly put me at ease. He explained things clearly and further explained when I was unsure. He also provided options about treatment. I was feeling quite uncertain about the treatment for my foot pain but came away feeling reassured about my treatment and also very enthusiastic about further looking into the way I walk and the importance of the kind of shoes I am wearing. His front of house lady was also extremely helpful and lovely to deal with. Overall a great experience.

Written by my daughter Tyra 12 years old. When visiting the clinic the receptionist and doctor were very polite and well mannered. In doing this it gave the clinic a friendly vibe. The doctor Keegan, was very gentle and kind when he did his check up thing. Together the both of them made the clinic feel very friendly.

The podiatrist from Tauranga (covering the usual podiatrist) was so lovely and handled my feet with such care. It was a pretty fantastic experience considering I was having a corn removed. He also offered good advice to help going forward to reduce the chances of it returning and didn't poo poo the fact that I had used pharmacy bought corn remover pads in the first instance; he just explained why sometimes they don't work and issues that can arise with the use of corn pads. Very impressed.

Liane in reception made me feel very welcome and arranged appointments to fit with my part time job. Duncan was very thorough and arranged imaging, then custom orthotics and a compression sock. These have been very helpful and my level of pain is much reduced. Im extremely grateful for the professional and understanding service that Foot Mechanics in Taupo have provided.

Foot Mechanics at Taupo is highly recommend. I received the most professional service and care from the first phone call with Leayne and throughout the consult/treatment phase. Traveling to Taupo from Australia for the IM event. Having suffered a major tendon rupture, Duncan went out of his way to quickly develop a treatment regime including sourcing specialist support at such short notice.
