It is with great enthusiasm that I would recommend working with Dr. Samuel Shay. I happen to be a physician. In the recent year I have learned about what could be best described as "Functional Medicine" and have had consultations with various providers regarding various lab tests I have had. My consultation with Dr. Shay was, by far, the best I've had. He takes complex information extracted from my laboratory data and combines that with my lifestyle and dietary habits. He then analyzes the info and comes back with easy to understand explanations and recommendations. He is not judgmental and is realistic in what can be accomplished given what I told him about my lifestyle and habits. His recommendations are clear and concise. And they are presented in a very attractive and user- friendly format. Dr. Shay is efficient. He is a good listener. And he happens to be quite funny - which helps when dealing with these serious issues. Please consider consulting with Dr. Shay regarding any health, addiction, or dietary issues you might have.

I've had chronic pain in my left wrist for 2 years following an ice skating accident where I fell and broke my wrist. They sent me to physio which barely worked and the pain always stuck around. I was desperate for help and found Dr. Sam Shay the health detective! He used acupuncture and other techniques the first session and my pain vanished. I was so shocked I went home and cried with relief because I had forgotten what it felt like to not have pain. Ever since then my wrist has been improving in strength and the pain has also gotten way better.
