Our boy Max has been going to Albany Pet Resort since he was a pup (over 5 years). He loves it here! He always jumps out of the car and runs in! When he comes home we know he's had a good run around & exercise at the resort as is ready for a nap. We have always found the owners wonderful and caring. They tell us about what he's been doing, the dogs he's played with and his behavior. We can tell they really love dogs and care for our Max.

My dog loves it here. Comes a couple times a week while I'm at work and overnight whenever I need to. My boy loves it here and can hardly contain his excitement every time we pull in to the drive. Not sure what all these reviews are about, Staff here are incredibly nice and animal loving. Haven't had any issues in the year or so Ive been taking him. A much better alternative than indoor and loud warehouse type daycares that are over stimulating and traumatic in some cases for the dogs. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Cheers for looking after my boy!

I would highly recommend Albany Pet Resort our girl Lily been going there since she was a pup so for the last almost 5 years. She is always super excited on the days she goes to daycare and sulks on the days she doesn’t go. She also loves having her overnight holidays there too and I always have great peace of mind leaving her there as I know she will always be well cared for. Anya and Liam are always so lovely and friendly and clearly care a lot about the animals that stay there, especially when Lily was recovering from her cruciate ligament surgery they were nothing but accommodating and nothing was ever a problem. They are always happy to offer great advice when any issues arise which has been very helpful as Lily is definitely full of personality with her funny quirky ways. She always comes home super happy and very exhausted.

Lovely staff & owner - clearly care & love animals! APR was recommended to us by friends of ours a couple of years ago & we’ve taking our Labradoodle Bella there ever since. Even though we only take Bella there a couple of times a year they remember her well & we know she’s in good hands! Bella is always happy when we drop her off & collect her - great to know that she is well cared for while we are away 😊

We are super happy with Albany Pet Resort. Our Golden Retriever loves coming here, which makes it easier for us to leave him. Their communication is great, and they often have a story about what he’s been up to, or who he has been playing with. They really know each pet that they are caring for.

We have taken our young huntaway border collie cross to the Resort many times. We have found the staff to be helpful and kind to our dog. She always looks happy and well fed when we pick her up, and we always get an update on how her stay has been. We would recommend the Albany Pet Resort to anyone who wants to be able to leave their pet behind, comfortable they will be well looked after.

I started using Anya's services just as she took over the business quite a few years ago! I used the doggy day care on a weekly basis for many years and now use the boarding kennel facility usually for a week at a time. My dog Amber loves it here and I'm happy that she gets to exercise with other dogs. The team genuinely love animals and I highly recommend the Albany Pet Resort.

Makes me feel very satisfied,deep inside to know that there are genuine people who care so much about my dogs but also ask how my day is too !!! & the good thing is they listen to my answer, which shows me they look after the customers. They seem to always look after their customers, pet owners like me and I have a good relationship with them. I am always very satisfied with the way they look after my dogs. They have lots of fun.

I have taken my dog for both daycare sessions and weekends to stay with Anya and the team over the last year. She is a pedigree show dog so I am extremely particular where I leave her. I started with daycare sessions first to see how she responded to short stays then tried a couple of weekend stays. When we arrive her tail is wagging and she is very happy to see the staff. They always welcome her so I am very comfortable leaving her in their care. I love that she gets to run and play with other dogs which is something we can't do here at home. Thanks Anya for providing such wonderful care for our special girl.

Great kennel! Anya and Lyam know what they are doing and go the extra mile to ensure the dogs are safe. I have taken my dogs here a few times and both times I have received great customer service and really good advice which worked wonders on my dog. I highly recommend this kennel if you are looking for somewhere that your dogs will be looked after and will have a good time

Anya and Liam are awesome! Pipi our small pug x has been coming for years and we 100% trust Albany Pet Resort with her, and know she is in safe hands when we leave. They definitely understand our dog! We highly recommend.

We have used Albany Pet Resort several times for both our cat and dog - they are absolutely fantastic. Staff are very professional and welcoming. Being away from home can be stressful for pets but ours are now familiar with the resort and appear content and settle easily when they return home. We fully recommend and will definitely book again :-)

Our Westie is always very happy to go to Albany Pet Resort for his holidays and I think that always says something about his experience there. Always reliable, friendly and professional. My kennel of choice for sure.

Miss Darwin has been boarding here for short and long-term stays for close to 10 years. She also frequents the doggy day care.Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and professional and the rates are very reasonable. They have come to know and respect Darwin's unique 'personality' and have catered to it to make sure her stay is relaxed and secure and as happy as possible. They deliver a high standard of welfare and have impressive kenneling facilities. Darwin returns from her 'school' days with a wagging tail and thankfully, with a little less energy after her day playing with her doggy friends.

After yet another lovely weekend experience with Albany pet Resort I always like to show our ongoing and immense gratitude to Anya and the team for their hospitality - my 6 year old terrier has been attending day care and holiday stays since he was a small one year old pup and in fact gets so excited at the mere mention of going here that we cannot tell him until we are a few minutes away!! He has so much fun playing with his favourite friends, and I'm always impressed at the way he is matched with a variety of dogs to play and explore with, never a bad experience to date. I feel secure knowing I have had a full tour of the kennels which are always well maintained and can envision where my little guy is hanging out when we are not with him. It is a great feeling knowing there is always a reliable place I can trust he is well looked after, exercised and attended to and absolutely LOVES visiting! A huge thanks yet again to Anya and the team - highly recommend to all who are looking for a professional, well run establishment. :)

Anya and her team have looked after my Cocker Spaniel for many years, long term and short term. Norma Jean (my fur baby) loves staying at the Pet Resort and has fun every time. I trust Anya and her team completely with my dog as they show that they can truly look after my dog as one of their own and make sure they are well taken care of. Great people who care so much about my pets. Anya has given us a lot of help with our dogs and I really appreciate the time this lady has spent talking with me on issues that even the Vet couldn't help me with . Anya just knows, she just has a present and internal knowing in her in regards to dogs. Very natural for her. I cant word it any other way but she is fantastic .

Anya and Lyam provide a fantastic service, very responsive to querries and bookings. They offer a professional service for pick up and drop off. My Labrador stayed for two weeks last Xmas, when I picked him up he was in the best shape I've seen him. I've started feeding him the same food the do. They take fantastic care of him.

The dogs had a great time and were very happy when they came home. We found the managers very accommodating and very supportive of our pets individual needs. We will definitely use them again.

This kennel has been Recommended to me 10 years ago, by so many people and WOW they are amazing. So very glad that I finally took my beloved dogs there and I will never go back to the previous kennels my dogs went to. So clean and tidy and my dogs are so very excited to go there. Every time I drive into the Avenue they are turning cartwheels with excitement. Love it!! .The best kennel ever!!

We have had two pet dogs over the years since the late 1990's, Pumba and now Blaze and both have been so happy when we uplift them. This in turn settles us. We would not go anywhere else because of the positive reactions from the dogs. In fact we feel left out sometimes because Blaze (current dog) is so excited he's out of the car and doesn't look back to say goodbye. He's focused on meeting new friends. Thank you to all Staff. We had our sheltie stay at Albany Pet Resort at numerous occasions over the last few years. The staff is caring and professional and always take a personal interest in him. Lovely country location. Highly recommended!!

Highly recommended, friendly people who took great care of our dog and cat for the weekend we were away. Both were very happy and exhausted when we picked them up, clearly had some good play time!

Albany Pet Resort is just that, a resort for pets. Anya and the team at Albany Resort provided our girl with a home away from home. Her first visit was as a puppy, we were so apprehensive to leave our fur baby so young, however, we need not have been concerned. Gracie had a fabulous time there, she loved the outdoor spaces and playing with new friends, the team reassured her and also us whenever we checked in. Even though we are from Hamilton we always drop our girl off to the resort on our way to the airport. While it adds some travel time it gives us peace of mind, we know she will be treated with the kindness she is used to. They are professional, loving and dedicated to providing the best service possible. I would not hesitate to book your fur baby in here, its holiday fun for them too when they cannot come with you. Thank-you again guys for taking care of our girl recently, her tail starts to go as we head up your road.

Our Coco is always happy to go there.. Our holidays means he gets a better vacation than us.. Anya, Lyam and team are amazing. Anya is exceptionally great at tips for a holistic life for dogs.. Made a world of difference to our Coco. Highly recommended. Love it ! Thanks

I'm very happy with Albany Pet Resort. My cat Tui much prefers staying in his own room lounging in the sun rather than communal rooms offered elsewhere, (Prior to finding this place he usually came back lacking body weight / condition.) Prices are very good too... Thank-you to Anya and Liam for caring for Tui, keep up the great work!

I have been taking my two dogs and cat here for a while now. I started to bring my dogs in during and after doing some renovations on the property a few years back. I really liked how they ran the place and we got along really well. I can strongly recommend them

Our experience with Abany Pet Resort is highly recommended , Our dogs are always so happy to go there and also happy running up the gate way to see us pick them up. They always come back so happy, satisfied with a sparkle in there eye, unlike other places on the shore which was a terrible experience, they had come back with mites and smelt like moth balls. But not Albany Pet Resort, the only place I will ever take my dogs, Anya you are amazing and thank you for always making sure our babies are comfortable when we leave. You truely make us feel fully at ease when we know they are in the best care. Thanks again. :)

We recently went away for a long holiday and were looking for a place to trust with our dog. The team here were kind, caring and looked after our dog so well. When we came back from holiday our dog was clean, happy and looked in great condition. Thanks so much!!!

How anyone could write a bad word about you saddens me hugely. What is wrong with these nasty people? I feel totally disappointed in them & they must have very bad outlooks on life & are unbalanced. We recently adopted a gorgeous Japanese Spitz puppy from Anya based here. The puppy has clearly been well cared for and has such a beautiful nature. This shows how Anya is knowledgeable and responsible with her dogs, and she's had excellent communication through the process. Thanks again Anya for bringing such a delightful little girl into our lives.

They care for our Galah Parrot when we are overseas for just 10.00 per night , so a very good price. I bring her with her cage with her food and they then feed/water and clean her cage for this price . They have had her for short stays as well as long stays and she has always been cared for beautifully. I cant fault them and enjoy the friendly, kind service they offer and real bird lovers helps me feel good about leaving her there. I would recommend Albany Pet Resort for looking after small animals with excellence and feel very lucky to have them do this for us.

Originally recommended by a friend, my precious pup Poppy loved Anya and her team from the very first visit. She ‘lives in’ when I go away and visits regularly for fun and socialising at day care. We are both happy with the friendly caring service, thank you all.

We were extremely grateful to the staff and the time taken to look after our dog who had a major operation . Not many people were interested when we phoned them but they really were helpful and nice on the phone. I went and met with them and I knew they would be good to Sammy by the questions they asked and all round empathy and understanding to our situation Our dog Sammy had a major operation and he had medications, ointments and quite alot of general care to be given to him and they did a splendid job looking after him. We phoned asking how he was and they gave us updates and were really lovely to talk with. I felt so at ease to have chosen them as Sammys new parents & this allowed us to have a relaxing holiday .

I highly recommend Albany Pet Resort, from taking my Neo Mastiff there for a weekend as a young pup, and two years on he goes there once a week for Daycare, if I never decided to take him he would not have been as social . This has had a amazing impact on our Boy. For being a big full Male other kennels would turn us away. Anya and her family are amazing with him, he knows everyone their now and even has a few mates to hang with on his daycare . He use to be a big sook when I first took him, but now happy to run down the alley. I would ever only take my dog at these kennels, which I trust and leave totally satisfied when I drop him off.Awesome guys

Awesome caring people. Highy recommend. Huge, actually massive " Thankyou from all our family for all the genuine care and time you gave to us and our dog. We were told to board here from the local Vet Clinic who takes his dog to them and highly recommend them as having very good boarding facilities and staff who go the extra mile and really care for their customers pets. Our dog being a rescue dog , quite timid at this stage of strangers and just needs nice people around her. Well we found you !! Anya the lady spent 1 hour and 20 minutes talking with us and showed us so many helpful tips and ways to improve our dog we went home excited for the future . We asked to.pay her for all her time and patience with our girl and her response was " I get as much from this as what your dog does, it helps us both"" What amazing words from.a truly amazing lady who didn't expect any money , just wanted to help us, so we could all have a good happy life together.. We have recently moved to the North Shore and were looking for new kennels for our dogs. We are really happy with Albany Pet Resort - our dogs love it there.

ABSOLUTELY 10 OUT OF 10 !!!! FAMILY OWNED AND OPERATED KENNELS THE KNOWLEDGE AND LOVE THEY HAVE FOR ALL ANIMALS IS 2ND TO NONE!!!! i have two hunter-ways and they can be a handful have used Albany pet resort multiple times now and will definitely be coming back again

I am a Veterinarian Surgent who would make assurances to anyone looking at a boarding facility for their loved pet's to look at Anya's credenials , qualifications and not hesitate in trusting her and her team. Talk with her and hear the passion, dedication, knowledge and wisdom that walks with her. It is a pleasure talking with Anya over pet's health, training systems, diets etc she really is a challenging highly skilled and diligent lady who has been surrounded by animals since she was a young girl , which speaks a thousand words for me. Anya looks after my pet's when I'm on holiday, listens to what I require with them ie raw food diets and I know in my heart she is the best care giver in the area. The Shore can be very testing, burdensome standard of people to please and show little appraise to how good the Industry's who are caring for people pets actually are and many Shore people are un_reslistic in their expectations. Vets and Vet Clinics also do their very best and are crucified by the negative nasties of society. This company and staff love animals, there is absolute no question in my mind about their warm heartedness and are marvelous people.

The best evidence of how great this place is: my dog is so happy to arrive, he barely takes any notice of me when I come to drop him off. He loves it!

I read Sheryl Crowes review, so true and well said the staff are totally beautiful people. There is a saying ''Hurt people Hurt people'' and the De laney's look like hurt people, who want to hurt others. They sound crazy. I feel sorry for anyone who knows them!! and writing untrue reviews under different name will come back on them. Karma has a way of returning. As for the others '''GROW UP'' life is not easy for any of us !! and these people work 365 days of the year 10 + hours a day because they care so much about looking after animals and they do an amazing job too. Our dogs love going there & are always clean, tidy happy dogs when we collect them.

I go on feel and this place feels good. My labrador absolutely loves it, he runs inside despite having anxiety about people, has never blinked about this place. Very happy.

Friendly and helpful service. My dogs are always happy and love turning up there for a stay which is a great indication of how they’re looked after!

I have been bring my dog Bruno and my sister's cat Cuddles here for almost a year and the service is always top notch. The workers are always friendly and the animals always come home happy.

Our dog Pickles has stayed twice here now and seems really happy with the accommodation :-)
