M.Margaret has taught us how to adjust our new additions behaviour to be a very social, well adjusted 4 legged family member. Her classes are hands on for both adults and children with lots of fun activities and plenty of opportunity to discuss concerns or wins. Her light hearted humour keeps you thinking and on your toes. Would definitely use Margaret’s services again if we require further help or get another addition down the track.
V.I would recommend anybody with a young puppy go to High Five Puppy Skills. I took my collie puppy Remi. I loved Margaret's straight forward and positive approach to working with puppies. The class was well structured and of a good size and finished off with the puppies have a good play together. We had a lot of fun, thanks Margaret!
M.Great way to get to train your dog both one on one and in groups, awesome to sed your dog achieve big or small, learnt so much and my two puppies have come along way. Was good as we haven’t had a dog for quite a few years so was good to get pointers to hopefully train them correctly.
H.Margaret is truly amazing at what she does. Her methods were extremely effective and she was able to keep my puppy calm and focused the whole time. She took the time to explain the reasons behind her processes and gave me some great tips for crate training and obedience. I feel confident now that I will be able to train my puppy to be a confident and well behaved dog. I can’t wait to go to the puppy workshops and learn even more!

M.Margaret really helped our puppy to settle in our family . Having little kids could be very hard when you have a puppy but after having a session with her everything started to get so much better. She was available when we need it her for advice and she gave us lots of information and resources to train our puppy. I will highly recommend High Five Puppy Skill.
S.Jimmy and I had a 3 hour 1 on 1 puppy skills session with Margaret when Jimmy was 16 weeks old. Margaret covered everything from basic sit stay commands through to tasks that I was sure were too advanced for Jimmy 😁. We left feeling so much more confident in our ability to train Jimmy reinforcing good behaviour and establishing boundaries. The puppy manual we left with is a great tool to keep referring back to.

C.Margaret was absolutely fantastic in terms of breaking down each training tip to help our precious girl (Bailey) grow into a well-behaved and obedient pup. More importantly, I was highly impressed by the fact that she spent over 20 minutes conversing with me over the phone to answer the many questions I had around training without ever forcing her program onto me or making me feel obligated to use her services. The standout feature for High Five Puppy Skills (along with Margaret's honest and integorious persona) is personalisation. Unlike many other schools out there, she makes it mandatory to do a 1-on-1 session with your pup (before attending group sessions) and customises her approach to the breed, personality and behaviour of your pup. Not to mention, her pricing is very competitive. Therefore, I highly recommend the services of High Five Puppy Skills.

D.Fantastic resource for our new puppy. Theres obviously alot of work and effort that goes into training a new puppy so we met with Margaret right at the beginning. She covered really helpful information like sleeping arrangements, diet, exercise and some basic behaviours to teach.
For anyone interested in this it's important to note theres a one on one at the beginning which gives you a great base then 2 separate group workshops which is a great chance to get some refreshers and further help. You puppy also gets to meet other dogs and you get to understand your puppies play style under some guidance from Margaret so its safe and fun for them.
We live locally to avonhead but given the experience we had id recommend making the trip from anywhere around town.
Nice job Margaret - what a nice environment you create. Both my wife and I are more confident than ever being dog owners now.

J.I couldn't recommend Margaret more! We took our girl Lulu to High Five Puppy Skills and completed the one-on-one sessions and workshops. Lulu really benefitted from the sessions and it was a great introduction to how to be a well rounded dog. It was also massively useful to us as owners too. Getting a puppy can be daunting, but Margaret made sure we were fully prepared!
M.We took our 4 month old golden Labrador Harley (aka Marley) to Margaret for one on one lesson. It was worth every cent! We including husband and two daughters learnt a lot from Margaret. We were doing so many things wrong and poor Harley was confused and was hyper like a grumpy toddler. We have a great bond with our pup and I can actually enjoy being at home. I would highly recommend taking your pup to Margaret even though vets say to wait for their 3rd injection. The sooner the better I reckon.
N.I took my Border Collie pup to High Five with my 11 year old daughter. We learnt some cool ways to train our puppy for round the house routines along with many tricks. Margaret is a great trainer.

U.High Five Puppy Skills is amazing! The one on one session was the perfect way to delve into learning the skills to train Lenny. He also loved the group class and we have been practicing all of his new tricks. This is the only puppy skills training class I would choose. Thank you so much Margaret!
