j.I was fortunate enough to get a place in the puppy preschool group run by Cleo and I'm so glad!
The facilities were always clean and safe, I can tell the staff take a lot of care to ensure this, I honestly believe these folks treat your dogs as their own.
Cleo was our trainer and she has the perfect skillset and temperament to help reassure puppies and owners. She really exemplifies being kind but firm and our results were outstanding, I never thought my puppy would shake hands until Cleo gave it a try haha.
The shop out front is always well stocked and presented, if you forget your treats for example there is a great selection available as well as high quality food and accessories.
Get your puppy in for all 4 classes, you'll come out of it more confident with great tips for further training 👍
S.Could not reccomend them more!! As a professional couple, we love the fact that we can drop our pup off for the day and not have to worry. The updates on social media of the day and the fact that they are open until late, really makes for an experience that sets us at ease. Our pup loves it and has come home feeling exhausted and so happy! He is also a lot more friendly with dogs on walks! Thank you k9 kindy ❤
K.Unfortunately my boy Bowie has separation anxiety and is socially shy with other dogs so doesn’t like daycare much but that’s no fault of this place!
The staff have always been so good at communicating how his day has been and let me know if he has been overly stressed or if he has tried to pay etc
They also have an Instagram account and snap chat so I could see him playing and see how he was going which eased my stress levels too!
Unfortunately Bowie hasn’t progressed with his stress levels so we won’t be going back but if we ever try again in the future this will definitely be the place we go! Thanks to the whole team!

N.Couldn't recommend Chris and the team at K9 Kindy highly enough! My dog has been going for over a year now since she was a puppy and we couldn't be happier. The staff are always so friendly and trustworthy. I love being able to see my dog happy and well looked after on social media throughout the day. The store is always well stocked with everything your dog needs from food toys which is super handy too.
S.Couldn't recommend K9 Kindy enough. Chris, Cleo and Rhianna are absolutely amazing! Ralph our Lab x GSP has been going to K9 Kindy since he was 3 months old and its one of the best things we have done as dog owners. He has learnt such great social skills going twice a week for over a year now. Chris and the girls go above and beyond with the care and training they offer - even helping me train Ralph to sit and be calm every morning before he enters. Their patience and help with this was so appreciated and makes drop off SO much easier now. Also their opening hours and prices are honestly the best in town. Ralph always comes home happy and exhausted after his day. You guys are awesome!
A.Coco loves kindy, she can't wait to get in in the mornings! It's great being able to see what she's up to during the day too on snapchat and Instagram, and she loves posing with santa every year.

P.Chris and the staff at K9 Kindy are always helpful, reliable and consistently go to the nth degree however they can for their customers - and most importantly the dogs! My dog has been attending K9 Kindy for a few years now and absolutely loves it, being a working dog owner this helps tremendously with keeping him entertained, socialised with other dogs and leaves him tired for his off kindy days when I'm at work. He now also gets taken to and from kindy in the dog taxi which is extremely convenient for me and saves me time at the start and end of the day. 100% could not recommend K9 Kindy more for all of your dogs needs!

C.Our puppy, Murphy absolutely loves going to Kindy. He gets the social interaction and play, comes how a very tired, happy puppy. And we have the peace of mind he is looked after while we work.
R.I absolutely love K9 Kindy and cannot recommend them enough. Chris and the whole team are so beyond amazing with our boy Jimmy. He was unsocialised and a nervous, anxious young dog but has become so much more comfortable and sure of himself since attending kindy. He loves going there so much and is obsessed with the staff who are so patient and good with him and he loves the other regular dogs he gets to see weekly. Since going we are able to take him to public places with lots of other dogs around, which we weren’t sure we’d ever be able to do, as his playing and interacting has improved so much. After a lot of research of doggy daycares around the Christchurch area, we decide to try K9 Kindy as it seemed the best option for our boy. Chris is obviously great with dogs and has so much knowledge and he really has created the perfect kindy. In my opinion, we’re really lucky he chose Christchurch to set K9 Kindy up in. Chris is also very upfront about the fact that he wants to make sure his kindy is right for your dog, and the trial phase isn’t just for your dog, but is for him to assess whether he thinks your dog will be a good fit. To me, this is the sign of a good business as he isn’t prioritising the money but the dogs as he wants to make sure it’s the right fit for not just your dog, but the other dogs in the facility so every dog is safe and comfortable.
K9 Kindy is inside, so no dirty dog to take home, and they have hoses and ice for hot days over summer so they don’t get too stuffy. They never overcrowd like other facilities, as once they reach their cap for the day, they won’t book more dogs in. They always have plenty of staff for the number of dogs and are completely transparent with constant photo and video updates throughout the entire day which are also available publicly to check out beforehand if you’re considering them (on Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat). And on top of that, it’s also better priced than other competitors! Especially when you get the 5 session concession card. Sending our boy to kindy once or twice a week has turned out to be the best money we spend every week!
K.Best doggy day care in Chch. The dogs get all the TLC & attention, toys, cuddles, treats. A tired, happy dog at the end of the day is guaranteed. Plus the girls and Chris always go above and beyond to accommodate all our needs. Very knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend these guys.
L.I would highly recommend K9 Kindy 😊 Chris is amazing with the dogs! It is a safe and fun environment and offers less strict pick up/drop off times. Also, it is really affordable! My little pug Gus loves going there, he always comes home absolutely shattered from a day of playing 🐶❤️
J.Aubrey loves every minute spent at Kindy. He drags us down the road to get there in the morning to see his friends both human and K9. He loves tug-of-war and monopolising anyone who will sit still for cuddles. We love watching the snippets on Snapchat and Instagram during the day to see what he gets up to. Thanks to Chris and the team for the great environment for the dogs to socialise and play.
