I highly recommend ABC Dogs for at-home training and group classes. The advice has been invaluable and laid down the foundations for good behaviour and calm, happy dogs. We plan to attend more classes!

The A B C Dogs puppy school and in-home training sessions have been a great experience both for us and our 5 month old puppy Polo. We have noticed a big improvement in Polo's behaviour since the sessions and taking on-board the advice, and now feel much better equipped with training him going forward. The approach of A B C Dogs was very caring, informative, respectful, and non-judgemental. It meant so much to have this support through some tough times with a new puppy. Would very much recommend A B C Dogs!

Janelle was so paitent with both myself and Bailey, being an older puppy owner she explained everything clearly. I now have a well behaved dog that is a pleasure to have around Loved her visits as we learnt loads

ABC dogs is amazing, I would give more stars if I could! We have a much calmer German Shepherd puppy and less stressful home after only 4 sessions with Jonelle. She has been so patient and kind as well as extremely knowledgable and full of helpful strategies. I have attended many obedience schools with different dogs, but this tailored in-home approach has been by far the most successful experience. Jonelle has helped us, and Rocky, with so many common challenges - over excited behaviour, reactivity, pulling on the lead, digging. Everything is significantly better now and some of our issues resolved within days of the session. She really knows dogs and Rocky loved her visits as much as we did. Our only regret is that we didn’t find her sooner and we wish she could just keep coming to visit forever! Highly recommend.

Jonelle was very patient and supportive in teaching us how to have a less-reactive dog when we meet other dogs or when the doorbell goes. We learnt lots and our dog is already so much calmer in situations that he used to over-react to. We will come back for help with the next difficulty we encounter. Highly recommend this training - it is personalised and very specific to you and your dog's needs.

Jonelle was amazing! We had issues with our labrador pup food and resource guarding and the kids being abit too rough and full on with him causing him to get aggressive, but she helped us deal with with these issues the best way. The amazing part was her working with the kids to help them have a better understanding of how to behave towards him and they actually follow through with the instructions on the daily which has been fantastic for us! We also got help with a few other things like better recall training etc so I can not recommend Jonelle enough!! It's definitely a much calmer and peaceful place at home now ❤

Jonelle has been fantastic. We did puppy school at ABCdogs and she teaches valuable tips and training. My concerns were addressed that may have only been happening in the home not outside of. Highly recommend.

Frankie and I just completed the reactive dog class for small dogs. The class was very informative and Frankie did so well! Ive noticed a massive difference and will continue to use the tips and tricks we have learnt along the way. We now have a much happier doggy 😊 highly recommended!

After initially enrolling in the dog reactivity class, Jonelle quickly worked out that my dog didn’t necessarily need that. She was willing to assist me with my pack, and once meeting them gave me some very helpful tips and tricks to help to calm their energy down. It’s only been a short time, but I have already seen results from her teachings. Thanks Jonelle.

My Labrador used to pull far too much making walking on the lead nearly impossible. After great advice, clear instruction, tips and understanding, all in just a handful of lessons, we are enjoying, relaxing daily walks! We are both so much happier… literally a life changer. Thank you!

Monty (mini schnauzer, just over 12 months old) had developed some anxiety/stress. He was a nightmare to walk because of his pulling/barking at anything and everything, and was unable to regulate himself back to a calm state. He was also getting worse with barking around home. I did in-home training, and he’s now amazing to walk, I no longer worry about walking him before everyone wakes up ‘to keep the peace’. He still has work to do and we continue to practice and learn (and are going to do some of the short courses for small dogs offered)-however he is like a different dog! We made some changes to a few things based off the advice given and worked with positive reinforcements. He wags his tail more, and is definitely far more relaxed and happy. He is now managing to be around other dogs whilst out without pulling or barking most of the time, and for instance at schnauzer group catch ups, he no longer jumps up at people for pats (his favourite), knowing and putting into practice-that he will get cuddles etc if he sits quietly. I have learned so much about Monty behaviourally and really understand his stress stacking/triggers so am able to now minimise those things. He has always had the most beautiful nature-and now that he is less stressful and anxious these characteristics shine through. I have particularly appreciated the consistent advice (I have been able to contact ABC training via email long afternoon his training to get advice on how to manage any situations that have been stressful) and the confidence I now have, in knowing what is right for my dog and his temperament/nature. We have solutions and steps to follow in times where Monty reverts back to any old ways (which is pretty rare now), and I’ve seen first hand how the process works-and have every faith he will continue to get better. Monty and I have always been very close-but I feel with his training our bond has strengthened even further, and I am so happy and incredibly grateful to see his anxiety and stress levels reduce so much. I would definitely recommend-and wish I had done it sooner.

Thank you so much for offering up some much needed advise over lockdown. Getting a puppy days before unexpected lockdown has been a wee bit stressful but Jonelle gave me super helpful advise to reassure me things were going ok! Looking forward to having her around home to find tune some things with Pup! Highly recommend

Jonelle has been absolutely amazing at helping us to train our 8 month old dog. It never felt like she was judging us, and always explained the new ‘rules’ for the dog in a way that was easy to understand. We couldn’t recommend her enough!

I’ve been having reactivity issues with my 18 week old black Labrador during our walks. She heels perfectly on lead then pulls desperately whenever she passes another human or dog. They suggested I try the engage and disengage technique. I’ve tried this inside with my family and she was engaged despite all the silly antics I had them doing. Next step is to try this outside and then on our walks.

Jonelle has helped us to solidify the training basis of my dog Maui, and to improve his socialization with other dogs. His behavior has much improved and he is much calmer and more chilled

Our two dogs have loved their outings with Jonelle, and their behaviour is hugely improved due to her expert advice and guidance. Knowing our dogs were so very well cared for and exercised while we were overseas was a great relief. Jonelle provides a very professional home based pet care service. I have on several occasions left my much loved parrot with Jonelle to look after. The service provided is of the highest standard. Jonelle is really nice and helpful when I was totally lost with what to do with an abandoned baby kitten maybe 5-6 weeks old! Rang her almost midnight and was offered useful suggestions and instructions regarding feeding, toileting, and etc. with her patience, which were a huge relief for me and also the first night at a strange place for the kitten. Jonelle also kindly texted in the second day morning, enquiring for the condition of the kitten and also suggesting some potentials for the kitten before a permanent adoption is secured for it, though this lucky one got a nice place very soon. Here I would say thank you, Jonelle!Would also strongly recommend to come for her professional help and advices if needed.
