Tails on Trails has proven to be a fantastic adventure for my very energetic Heeler, Mila. Mila has been going out on her weekly walks with Nick since the end of 2021 and has absolutely thrived. I have noticed her confidence with other/stranger dogs has increased, she is no more the shy wee puppy that would run for cover if approached by other dogs. I always look forward to seeing the video at the end of the day, is great to see her out have an absolute blast with a great pack of dogs, in the forests, fields, mud and ponds for a swim. Highly recommend Tails on Trials for anyones dog that not only needs to burn off some energy, but meet some new canine friends and just be a dog. Communication and updates are provided regularly by Kat are fantastic and professional. It is great to be apart of a community bound together by mans best friends

Tails on Trails are honestly incredible. After our 18 month old retriever, Ava joined once a week we could see quickly why they had such an incredible reputation. They genuinely care about each and every dog that is on their adventures and are so willing to work with you to do what is best by your dog. Ava now goes on her Tails on Trails adventures three times a week. It is definitely her highlight of the week and will wait with anticipation for the crew to arrive. Her recall has improved dramatically (definitely not our hard work), she is a lot calmer around new distractions when out and about and just overall a lot more responsive to us. I couldn't ask for a better company to look after my girl and feel incredibly fortunate to have Kat, Charlie and Nick to all take care of her ❤

Absolutely love Tails on Trails! Kat met Percy when he was about 5 months old and took great care in deciding which group would be best for him. His confidence has sky rocketed thanks to going out once a week with Kat/ Nick. He always comes back happy and tired, so I know he's had a great time and the videos they put together at the end of each session are so great to see what the pack get up to :) Its nice to not have to worry about him being home alone while I'm at work, and having a big adventure mid-week is great for keeping his energy levels more manageable for me during the working week as well. Totally reliable and I cannot recommend Tails on Trails enough!

Every Wednesday morning, our lovely Luna waits excitedly for Nick to arrive in his van ready for her adventure. When we first started looking for this type of service, I was incredibly impressed with how professional Kat's approach was. From her assessment of Luna to her specially designed vehicles to provide her passengers with the best in comfort and safety. Luna is a very boisterous and friendly girl who just loves to play. I have been impressed with the way Nick has focused her play whilst out with the pack and I am definitely noticing what a calming influence he has on her. I love watching the videos of her morning outings, they always make me smile knowing that she has had some real 'free time' to sniff and run and play. We have also had some one on one time with Nick and his recommendations for harnessing her energy are working well. Tails on Trails is great. We chose TOT because we have an energetic Kelpie who urgently needed some socialising. Nick came round to meet our doggo. Instant rapport with our little mate and just great with him, you can see his passion for the furry kind! We have been with them for about 6 months now, our dog loves when Nick comes to pick him up and has gained confidence overall, and now is much better behaved when we walk him and he meets other furry guys. Tails on Trails sends through on a text a video of what our little mate got up to on his walk which adds a nice touch! Super easy service, highly recommend this business that obviously has a passion for dogs. Not expensive and great communicators - all round good experience. Get your dog into a Tails on Trails pack!! They'll love ya for it!

Our overly energetic pup absolutely loves her adventures with Tails on Trails. She is super excited on pick up and suitably tired when dropped back at home. All team members are approachable and have the dogs best interests at heart, they will meet you first to see which pack is best suited for your dog then keep you updated if any situation arises. I highly recommend Tails on Trails.

Tails on Trails has been excellent. Very easy to communicate with, Nick takes great care of Mocha and sends through a video of the adventure after each one. Mocha eagerly awaits Tuesday to get out and explore with Nick and the other dogs. I would definitely recommend Tails on Trails to anyone considering joining their dog up to an adventure pack!

Our pup, Pip, loves her adventures with Tails on Trails! She gets so excited when she hears the van pull up to collect her on Monday mornings. We love that she gets to blast a whole lot of energy and socialise with a great bunch of dogs, and we are envious of all the cool places she gets to explore – an awesome mix of Dunedin’s beautiful beaches, forests and muddy rivers. The wee videos that we are sent after each trip are a fun bonus too.

Having started as a puppy, our dog really developed his confidence and social skills quickly with their wonderful support and the experience they offer.
