Best dog kennels by far. It's a half hour drive from our house, but worth the little bit of extra time driving our boy out there. Diesel loves going to Top Notch. It's great seeing photo updates on insta! Staff are fantastic. Diesel always comes home happy and tired from having so much fun.

We have just picked our two elderly moggies up from TopNotch kennels, after their first stay there, and they were in 'TopNotch' condition!! Our mini Schnauzer cross is diabetic, and requires twice-daily injections of insulin. This was administered by the staff, and absolutely no problems were encountered. Apart from receiving 5-star treatment while there, we really appreciated that staff posted photos of all the dogs interacting on their website - it really makes for a relaxing experience when you get to see your dogs happy and contented. Thank you so much!!!

We were visiting the boarding kennel last week to see if it's fine for our dog. She needs a lot of space to run, attention and a warm room to stay. We loved, it has all you can ask for. So we are going to use their service on the future, it is going to be sad for us, but for sure it is the best alternative possible.

We have two pampered 8 year old indoor Brittanys. One had never been to boarding kennels before and we urgently needed accommodation for them due to a family illness. They were very well looked after and were in terrific shape when we picked them up. What a relief for us to have found such a place. Their grounds are beautiful and spacious. Lots of grass and lots of other precious pups.

We have been using Top Notch for the last 15 years for our 2 keeshonds and now our spoodle. Great people and place for boarding our dogs, it's like a holiday resort for them. Highly recommend!

We arrived from Australia in July this year and after visiting and reviewing boarding kennels in Christchurch came to the conclusion of not being comfortable with either the facilities or the attitude of the staff. We decided to give up and try and change our living arrangements with our pet. Our vet recommended to try Top Notch Kennels , we have not regretted the decision to go with them . Warm, caring , receptive staff and owners for both ourselves and our dog Tyson.

If you are going away and looking for a kennel i suggest top notch. Just picked our girl up after 1 week. Her 3rd visit there. She is always well looked after. When we picked her up yesterday they had bathed her, brushed her trimmd her nails etc. Her coat was so shiny, she looked so healthy and happy. Cannot thank them enough. They can supply the food or you can, this does not affect the cost. They get walked twice a day in a huge field. Our dog is very dog friendly so they take her in a group with a couple other dog friendly dogs to play. If your dog is a bit timid they will cater to your dogs needs. The kennels are airconditioned in summer, heated in winter. Lots of fresh water, love and attention

We recently had our three dogs, Sweedy, Spike and Sam stay at Top Notch and we would just like to thank them for caring for our precious ones so well. Many times in the past, holidays have had a bit of a cloud over them because of worrying about the three amigos and, while we still miss them, at least we know they are in caring and professional hands.
