Great place! Highly recommend. The owners and staff care for the dogs as if they are there own. My boy had the best time socializing with other dogs.

I absolutely love everything about Abbeyblyth, and would happily recommend it as the best kennel in the region. Their facilities are clean, spacious, and well-constructed, everyone on the team is awesome, and they take such good care of the animals as if they were all their own. It is the only place I feel comfortable leaving my dog, as I know he will be well looked after like he's part of the family, and have a great time to boot. Great work guys, thank you!

I have used Abbeyblyth for the last two years for my English Pointer and its been superb. Great facilities, smart attentive people and a great location. Very reasonable rates and also flexible to real life challenges of getting dogs to kennels. Highly recommended.

Absolutely recommend! Heather, Tay and the team are so friendly, caring and accommodating.( As one of our dogs is not in the best of health , and has a special diet and sometimes meds). The kids love going there and it is so great knowing they are cared for. They leave happy and love going back ❤️

Our dog is always happy to be lead off to the kennels. He does not even look back. But in normal daily living as walks and runs, he hates losing site of us. So go figure, he seems vey happy to be at the kennels.

Awesome place, my dog loves going to stay there, and we are happy knowing she is well cared for.

Our pup Fin stayed the night last weekend. We rang up at the last minute to book in as we were travelling from Christchurch for the weekend. The owners were so helpful, friendly and accommodating. The facility was lovely and clean and the price was much cheaper than our usual kennels. Was extremely impressed and wish they were our local kennels!! Thanks for all your help :-)

Has taken a few days for my dog to adjust going in each day, but now she loves it. Great team and clean kennels.

Just the best. Was in town for the day from the North Island, my pup stayed for the day and the service was the best I've ever experienced at kennels. My pup got a bit dirty and they offered to clean her up. The price was affordable and staff were friendly and looked after our needs perfectly. Thanks so much team. I highly recommend Abbeyblyth boarding kennels. A great friendly and very helpful team. I have had two dogs in there care at different times. one of my dogs had special needs and Janine, Dave and there team went the extra mile to ensure my dogs were happy settled and well looked after. I would just like to say, i would never take my pets anywhere else. Thank you team for all you do and have done for my precious babies

Excellent! Have used another kennel previously and Abbeyblyth is so far superior. Faith was well looked after and had heaps of cuddles and played with her lab friends. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending to other doggie owners and will definately use them again. Friendly on drop off and pick up. Big thumbs up for running such a great place for our fur babies

We've used the friendly and caring services of Abbeyblyth Kennels for about 2 years now and our dogs love going here! As any caring parent, the first couple of times we dropped them off we probably felt worse than they did - they didn't even look back as they were taken to their kennel! The first time we came, we were shown around where our dog would stay and play and this really helped put our minds at ease. We didn't like leaving our puppy home alone for too long so she would regularly go to day care at Abbeyblyth when she was younger and absolutely loved it. Now that we have an older dog we tend to only use them if we go away overnight and again he loves it too. The owners and staff are real animal people and the dogs recognise that. I have no hesitation in leaving our fur babies in their care and highly recommend their services.

Our dog loves her weekend stays here. Tay and Heather are fantastic with her as she is a tad shy at times. These recent new owners have improved the kennels immensely.

What an amazing team, Max (GSP) loves it here. We use these guys for long term stays and day stays. Highly recommend. Clean and very friendly.

We have used many different kennels in other areas of New Zealand, but by far Dave and Janine have provided the best service and accommodation for our dogs over the past ten years. Our current dog happily goes into the kennels (Bo is usually easily scared and hesitant) and is always in good condition and happy when he comes out. Highly recommend this kennel, and confidently leave our dog for extended periods when necessary.

Fabulous home away from home for our dog with highly professional service and warm friendly staff. We have a fussy eating dog and are so grateful Abbeyblyth are flexible and creative in ensuring our wee friend is well nourished while away. Our dog has loved his stays at Abbeyblyth. Fully recommend.

We can highly recommend Dave & Janine and the team at Abbeyblyth to care for your pet - in our case a large dog who doesn't necessarily obey commands! He has been going to Abbeyblyth his whole life (9 years) and enthusiastically jumps out of the car on arrival and rushes off with Dave without a backward glance. For most people with pets going away and leaving them can be quite stressful - not when you leave them at Abbeyblyth, you can be confident they are in good hands! I have every confidence in the quality care, close attention, and love they receive from Janine, Dave and staff at Abbeyblyth, who make very effort to ensure their safety and wellbeing while in their care. David and Janine have been looking after our dogs on a regular basis for the past 5 years. The true test for any kennels is how keen your dogs are to return there and ours always leap out of the car without a backward glance. Very caring.

Dog was happy when we collected him and was in no rush to get into the car which is always a good sign that he's relaxed.

We take our fur baby here all the time and have had nothing but amazing service! Everyone is so helpful and helps him settle in (half the time he doesn't want to seem to come home!), and we can go off on holiday safe and secure knowing he is well looked after! We also love coming back and hearing all the story's of what he has been up to on his "holiday"! I have recommended to all my friends and everyone I meet and they definitely going to use also! Thanks so much guys, we have one less stress to worry about when going on holiday.

This is an awesome place to board cats or dogs! The staff are super friendly and really knowledgeable. The place is clean and well set up with lots for pets to play with, and the people genuinely love animals! Highly recommended

Heather, Tay and their team are just awesome. Winston (our wacky Vizsla) loves his weekly visits and it's reassuring to see how well looked after and loved he is.
