N.Amazing customer service. We arrived after closing on Friday. Owner greeted us (all on motorbikes) and he couldn't have been more helpful. Rooms were spotless and beds were comfortable. Not the most modern decor but we all agreed we would come back. Highly recommended
M.We were passing through and made a last minute call while we got our car sorted. Tony was super accomodating and helpful. It's a bit of a retro style complex, classic roadside motel styles, the pool is great, and there's some nice garden space to hide from the sun. Rooms are perfect - simple, clean, with supercrisp sheets, there's aircon/heat pumps, and they're a great base for exploring the area.

D.Visited some one else but the rooms were decorated simply with a black/white scheme that was tidy and clean and comfortable. Nice with outside pool and inside heated pool.

We had a great stay in a very affordable and comfortable environment that was emacutely clean.
Full kitchen, bathroom and separate bedroom come living room.
Nice surroundings and we could bring our little dog.
Great pool for a dip.
Family friendly and lovely hosts.
On leaving we saw the next room being cleaned and could see the cleaner holding the glasses up to the light to check that they were super clean.
Thanks for the tip on keeping stainless steel like a mirror.
As an aside when in a shop down town ,being a tourist, I mentioned where we were and while they had not stayed there they knew this motel and said they are such great hosts and have repeat business .

D.Very good to be able to bring my grandchildren too. Hosts most accommodating. All staff very friendly. Hot and cold pools a real hit.my oldest was chuffed grandma taught him how to ay pool. That's for everything .
f.Big rooms, kitchen has full size oven, bathroom clean and shower pressure excellent.
Comfortable beds and free wifi.
Loved the outdoor pool, there is also a indoor heated pool.
It was cheaper to stay here than in a small cabin at a local campsite.
Manager and staff friendly, highly recommend.

M.The owner is amazing, very helpful. The 1 bedroom units are amazingly clean, everything thought of to make your room more pleasant, for example, ice in freezer&fly spray! Very roomy. 38 degree pool incredible. Facilites fantastic. Highly recommend.

B.I stayed in unit 8. Full kitchen, bathroom, 2 bedrooms and a lounge/dining room. You get all that for a very reasonable price. Unfortunately the shower took a while to heat up. Short walk from ocean and shops. You can bring your dog/s with you as long as they don't bark constantly, stay off the furniture, have their own bowls and bed and you clean up after them. However, is next to a busy road so if your dog barks when cars go by this could be a con. Owners/workers were very nice and didn't hesitate to make your stay more enjoyable. Both indoor and outdoor pools, the outdoor one is only open in summer and heated by the sun/solar. The indoor I never saw as it was being repaired when I stayed there, but, it is heated so you can swim all year round.
d.Family friendly and a great place to stay. Took kids to New Plymouth for a weekend away and they loved the pool . Will go back and stay again when down that way
G.Very clean and spacious, gave us free chocolate fish. Motel includes both indoor and outdoor pools plus trampoline. Although since they used sky tv, no Chinese channels were available to watch.

Hot pool is a large 3x12m and we'll maintained.
Outdoor saltwater swimming pool is Devine.
Room serviced daily and was bliss to come back to.

S.Been staying With Marie and Tony for many years. They always bend over backwards to assist a pleasant stay. Units are always clean and great ammentities
C.Stayed a week with them, must say the breakfast was delicious and on time! Not a nosey area so sleep was good. The service was amazing lovely host always available when you need to know or see anything always generally interested in our work and how our day went. Apart from the parking space being a tad bit tight our stay here was great.
Would definitely recommend and come back here again!!

F.My partner and I stayed for 5 nights and we enjoyed ourselves. It is a great place to relax the hot pool was never over crowded and stayed opened late. The room was so clean and the servicing of the room daily was awesome as well. I felt that Tony was a great down to earth Host we will be going back in the near future.
J.Loved our stay here. Very handy to everything including the beach... ALL of the staff are amazing and very kind. We got a lovely decent sized room which was great for our dog to have a bit of space. And the beds were so comfortable and everything was so clean...
T.Super clean, newly painted, nice linen. We really enjoyed the games room and a hot soak in the hot pool at night. Friendly owners who provided pool towels and a surprise treat on arrival. Would definitely stay again, great for the family and quiet.

R.Great motel. Nice and clean. The two pools are great. Lovely garden. A bit dated but that doesn't affect your stay. 1 bed in the unit was soft, which is not to my taste. My kids didn't want to leave!

L.I'm really impressed with this place. Little touches like the office getting in touch with us before we arrived as we were running late and telling us to have s safe trip. And a good selection on sky...never had that and I have been to many hotels. Chocolate fish in the fridge and our room was made up really well.
B.Great stay here comfortable bed nice clean accommodation stayed here for a week while playing chartered clubs outdoor bowls. This motel complex also had a great outdoor swimming pool, really nice cool swim after a hot day of playing bowls.

G.Whilst the decor is dated, it is clean. There's a great outdoor pool and an inside hot pool. There is a garden with a trampoline and slide. Games room has a pool table and table tennis table. Can walk to town (about 10 mins) and 5 mins to coast.

But the flamingo and owner completed our stay! Very helpful and choc fish was tops😁 room furnishings a bit out of date but everything was there bathroom super spotless (you must congratulate your cleaning staff👌👌👌) kitchen omg perfect has everything and clean oven, trays like new nice touch with prelining them.
But what nailed it was fresh frozen ice trays and very cold bottle of water highly recommend and if need be will stay again
Ps I booked wrong date but thankfully had one room for us😁 superb
