C.Poppy super happy to go to Petminders. I have no hesitation recommending this clean tidy daycare as Sharon and Jason are so caring and professional. Great play area and big rooms for Boarding.

S.Sharon and Jason have looked after our dogs a number of times now both at home and at Pet Minders. They are so caring towards the dogs, walking and playing with them. Nothing is too much trouble - no matter what we have going on they are always happy to assist when we go away whether it be at our place or theirs. Highly recommend Pet Minders, they are very reliable, professional and responsive but most importantly the dogs are very happy. Sharon and Jason's love of animals is self evident, they are so dedicated.

T.My puppy rose 🌹 has being going to pet minders since she was a puppy she's 15 months old now she had been going to do sleepovers at night while I was working which has taught rose its ok to be away from my human mum and she will come back to get me . I can safely leave rose on her own now and she's a very happy girl .Rose goes to pet minders once a fortnight now so she can have fun and mix with other dogs she used to go 4 times a fornight when she was learning to be on her own but now she's very happy at home.She really loves Sharon and Jason who look after her for me and keep her safe big thanks to you both.
M.We have 3 little dogs that love coming over to Sharon and Jason.They love our dogs and we have noticed that the small dog area is beautifully thought out.Their is so many toys for them to play with.We have no hesitation on recommending Sharon and Jason.

J.I have used Sharon and Jason's services for over a year to provide care for my elderly uncle's dog when he has been unwell or in hospital.
This has often required them to pick up Brin at very short notice for an uncertain length of stay. They have been 100% reliable and always very caring. As my uncle can no longer drive they have picked Brin up and returned him home and have also taken him to the vet on several occasions. Brin has always been well cared for and always comes home happy.
J.Sharon and family are the nicest family I know. Absolutely dedicated to caring for the dogs in their care. They looked after our parrot when we went away on holiday for a week. When we came back she was well socialised, well feed and happy, much better than staying home alone.
Pet Minders is home away from home. The dogs love it here. They start talking in excitement from state highway one they love their friends and it is piece of mind, knowing they are well cared for, while I go shopping.
The rates are very reasonable so thank you Sharon and family. I am very greatful we found you.
C.I have no hesitation in recommending Pet Minders, Jason and Sharon genuinely care for our pooches. We regularly use both the boarding and daycare services. Our dogs so excited when I take them there that they can't get in the door fast enough. The facilities are clean and there are plenty of spaces for the dogs to play and chill out - it's a great set up.
S.We have used Petminders for several years and have always been very satisfied with their service- the care shown to our animals, house and garden is always exceptional. It is such a great service and gives real piece of mind while you are away as you know everyone/everything is being looked after well. I highly recommend this service. H.We use Petminders once or twice a week for our dog Millie, I looked at several doggy daycare's before we decided to put her in Petminders. Millie absolutely loves the interaction with other dogs, the outdoor area is spacious, there's lots to play with. She gets so excited in the car when we turn down the drive to Petminders. WOuldn't go anywhere else, great service and a bonus we can put her in over night when we go away on holiday! :-)
A.Sorry for the long review but... i have an anxious little girl who lacks confidence and social skills after her foxy brother passed away (he was her protector). Taking her the dog park or on walk ended in her being petrified. I took her to Petminders as I felt they didn't judge her and her breed (staffy) and were more than happy to help me with her and the issues we were facing. After 2 months and only 2 visits per week I have found my little girl to be so confident. Her behaviour is much more consistent and happy (she was getting bored at home) she goes to daycare excited and comes home tired. Sharon and Jason have taken so much extra care of her with (as they do with all that go to them) extra walks and one on one time and making sure she doesn't have too much going on at once. I cannot express how grateful and thankful I am for them, they take care of her as if she is their own and it shows as my little girl is so happy. I highly recommend their business and cannot express what a lovely, professional people they are and the fantastic business they provide. Thank you Petminders. 😊
R.We have been leaving our standard schnauzer dog, Trixie, to stay with Sharon and Jason over two-three years now and we would highly recommend them if you are looking for either doggy day care or longer term stays in their overnight kennels.
Sharon and Jason are professional over the basics of ensuring your dog is up to date with its vaccinations, flea and worm treatments. This is reassuring when leaving one's dog with them. They are very obliging regarding pick up and drop off times. And they are clearly very attuned to the needs of the dogs. Their kennels are comfortable, clean and there is good outdoor space for the dogs. There's also iced water and shade for the hot summer days.
Their rates are also very reasonable.

J.Love sending our two dogs to Pet Minders Whangarei. They absolutely love the daycare there and overnight stays when we go away. They always come home and sleep all evening after being at daycare as they've had so much fun playing all day.
c.Highly recommended! Sharon and Jason supply a friendly, flexible, helpful and apparently fun (judging from the response of our dogs) day service for our 2 dogs. We have used other doggy daycare facilities in the past but find our dogs, for different reasons, couldn't handle/didn't appreciate the full on nature of them. Pet Minders offers us peace of mind when we work long days and our dogs a calm, secure environment to play, relax as they please.
D.Sharon and Jason are the nicest people and really go to all lengths to make sure your pets are happy and looked after. I also adopted a couple of labs from him and they are the nicest healthiest dogs, with a lovely nature. Jason also gave us pet toys which he didn’t need to do, highly recommend these people to look after your fur baby’s 😃
C.My partner and I apoted our dog, Buddy, 3 weeks ago. Buddy is a high energy dog that can't be at home alone for long periods of time.
Finding Pet Minders has been a BLESSING. They treat Buddy so well and have been extremely KIND to both of us. They have the option of picking up and dropping off which is AMAZING for my partner and I (we do shift work). They have been flexable with us too which I appreciate so much. We are still trying to figure out our new schedules and Pet Minders has proven that they will do their best to help with Buddy. As I mentioned, Buddy is high energy... He comes home TUCKERED OUT! He gets along with all the dogs and has so much fun there.
THE PRICING is beyond reasonable and worth every penny!

C.Toerag was kicked out from barkeys 18mths ago due to old man syndrome along with his health issues and other doggy daycare didn't want to have him. Sharon and Jason took him in with no issue. G.We used the service of several other dog kennels in the past in another district and when we pick her up she would have no voice for couple of days we suspected it was due to excessive barking. Since we moved in Whangarei area about an year ago , Google searched for a kennel and Pet minders was one of the highly recommended therefore we choose to take our Spaniel there for three nights. We explained to the owners about the problem with the barking, they smiled and answered " we will find out". When we come back from our trip and picked up Iya couldn't believe how happy and playful she was and still had voice. This showed that Jason and Sharon are very experienced and they know how to please and comfort our pets. Now we use their services regularly and never looked for a different kennel anymore. We highly recommend Pet minders and in our opinion its the best kennel in the area. Therefore when we leave our dog in Jason's and Sharon's hands we have no worries at all. Well done guys .

PET MINDERS came up as 1 of 2 of the many that I had researched.
I am so happy I chose to send my two dogs to Pet Minders.
Sharon is helpful, intuitive and experienced which put my mind at ease as this was the first time I had boarded my dogs.
Our anxious dog bonded quickly with Jason and both of them were happy to be left. I also felt very confident that all would be a.o.k.
After 5 days I picked up very my dogs and they were excited to see me and happy to come home but it was obvious a bond had been formed with Sharon & Jason as they were so relaxed in their company.
I cannot recommend PET MINDERS enough. We have already booked in for another long weekend later in the year.
D.My dog has been coming to petminders for two years and this is the only shelter he has been happy and content in and looks forward going everyday to play with other doggie friends. Sharon and jason (the owners) have got a great system in place for the dogs to run around and play with a fantastic outdoor to play in with many toys that keep the dogs occupied. A.I highly recommend Pet Minder. Good value, friendly and I have been very happy with Jason & Sharon service. I can pick up any day & time on arrangement. The kennels are clean and lots of space for the dogs.
T.I've been really pleased I found Pet Minders. Its cost effective, down to earth and really beneficial for my dogs well being. It's one of the few places that works in with my longer work hours and I've been surprised at how flexible Sharon and Jason are when accommodating owners. Not sure what I'd do without them!
S.I am in the process of moving districts and need long term board for my dog. My dog was very unsure when I dropped him off, being a bit of a mummys boy, but when I visited him this week he was more interested in getting back with the other dogs in the play area than having cuddles with me! The dogs' quarters are immaculate, the play area is full of fun things to do and the owners are delightful. Thoroughly recommend this kennel to anyone looking for a caring place for their pet.
G.My dog Ivy has been cared for by Jason and Sharon for 10 years. She is always excited to see them. Jason has helped me with advise and care. From puppy problems right though to old lady tantrums. He is amazing with my much loved girl. I know my girl is in the best hands when I go away. Which, due to my job is often. So if you want to pick up a happy tired and loved dog at the end of the day place your fur baby here.
s.Whilst on a family road trip from the South Island, an unplanned change in our itinerary meant that we had to put our dog into a boarding kennel for a few days.
After trying to get in touch with a few different places, and having no joy, due to everyone being booked out during the Christmas holiday period, we found Pet Minders online.
They were very easy to deal with, and were more than happy to make room for our dog. This was a huge relief and saved us from being in an awkward situation.
Upon arrival, even though the kennels are located in an industrial area near the port, they were clean and tidy. There was plenty of space for the dogs to roam around, with shade and paddling pools for them to cool off in the heat.
The owners seem to have a genuine caring interest for the dogs, and I never saw any dogs looking stressed out or agitated.
when we picked our dog up a few days later, he was in a happy, healthy state.
I would happily use Pet Minders again if the need arises.

G.Hi there, to anyone looking for a pet minder who will give them total piece of mind........Jason & Sharon are the people you want. Our precious boy "Bustah"....had been a regular resident shall we say for about 8 years!! He loved going so much...he would wait at the gate in anticipation of being picked up by "Uncle Jason", and going to spend the day with all his friends. His routine was for Monday/Wednesday/Friday. I (Mum)...started this for him while I was working full-time. He was a real company dog...and the family i adopted him from when he was just 11 months old, had not trained him at all. When Jason came to our property to meet Bustah, I knew there was an instant connection, and Jason helped with training him and socializing him with other dogs. From there the rest is history.
Sadly our boy had to go to sleep two weeks ago....and he has left a huge hole in our hearts as well as Jason & Sharon's. This is how much they cared for our dog....he had become a huge part of their family also!!!
Whenever we went away....we knew exactly where he was going to stay!!
They catered to his needs as much as his fussy, probably over the top mummy did...and I am forever grateful for this!!!
We have referred friends, family, and complete strangers to Pet Minders and they are all very grateful to have their pets with Jason now.
So do not hesitate. When you drive into the premises it may feel a bit out of the way...and look a little "industrial"...but dont be put off by this. They keep their premises VERY CLEAN. The kennels are professionally built and serviced daily.
Jason is the most caring and thoughtful man my family and I have met. He is very genuine.....and passionate in his comittment to give your pet the best care!! Daily walks and outings in the van are somthing our boy truly enjoyed. And their is no doubt in our minds that he loved Jason & Sharon and their lovely daughter Shila!!

W.Lovely owners who love dogs. The most important factors for the dogs themselves are there: an open run area during the day, a safe individual space to sleep at night. The 5 stars is based on our Dingo being picked up happy and without stress.

S.My experience at Pet Minders Whangarei has been exceptional.
They are a unique service that is not only value for money but what I would consider a premium pet service. Sharon and Jason are full of enthusiasm and genuine care for my dog (and the other pets there!). The
fewer numbers they choose to take for daycare and boarding reflect the great level of care and attention my dog can receive…unlike some other pet care services around town who have such a large number of dogs on site that it feels like nothing more than a money machine. The team have recently upgraded their site to a larger area with brand new buildings and outdoor sheltered areas for the dogs which look awesome. My dog has stayed over for boarding on several occasions, and I feel so peaceful knowing she is with them as they live onsite and are right there if needed.
My dog is a rescue girl and gets quite stressed at times, but she absolutely loves going to Pet Minders. As soon as we pull into the street she knows where we are going and starts to wag her tail and gets very excited until I get her inside. I chose my dog daycare in the same way I chose my children’s daycare: fewer numbers, caring people looking after my family and great, safe facilities. Pet Minders are superstars of the industry!
