Absolutely awesome customer service backed up with great instructors. I am a bit of a novice but they really helped me through my Basic Handling Course. Wayne was my instructor and he was very patient with helping me out and also correcting a lot of the bad habits I had picked up. If you are thinking of getting your motorbike license or getting some instruction these are the people to go and see. I will definitely be back soon to do more courses. Thank you very much

Amazing!! I have never ridden a motorcycle. It's been my dream to. I have goals to have my full license. Dan and Wayne are going to be a huge part of making that happen for me. Wonderful! Clive you're so knowledgeable, experienced, and a true expert at what you do! The staff are passionate, excellent teachers, and it's refreshing to learn from people who love what they do and want to pass along their knowledge to others. The Ride Forever Silver course is designed for intermediate and/or experienced riders working towards their full license. The course was very detailed and helped me in every way. Not forgetting the head checks and braking technique! 100% Recommended! Thanks Karan

Completed my 6F CBTA with Pete & can't speak highly enough of the guy. He fostered a very calm learning/testing environment & walked me through the marking criteria prior to jumping on the bikes, so that I'd understand how the assessment was conducted. Professional, approachable & incredibly knowledgeable. Great experience.

Had an intro session with Steve on Saturday, and then did my BSH Test with Peter a couple of days later and passed, after not sitting on bike for 30 odd years. Both of them were terrific instructors: patient, funny, and encouraging. Five-star operation, and really a terrific experience. Can't recommend highly enough for their enthusiasm, passion and obvious knowledge about safe riding. Looking forward to working my way through the Ride Forever courses next!

I did the Ride forever silver course with Ornsby Motorcycle Training today and they were excellent. Patient professional trainers made the day easy. 5/5 I will be back to do my gold course

it took me 3 hours to get the pass for learner license theoretical test from having no motor bike skills. friendly staff and good facilities! highly recommended.

I've done two Ride Forever courses with the Ornsby team, as well as a cornering track half-day at Ruapuna, and have come away from each a more confident and assured rider, albeit a little more cautious than before. Each instructor is an enthusiast as well as an expert; you can see that they love riding and bikes and want everyone else to have that same passion. Whether you are just getting started and want to improve and gain confidence or, like me and have been riding most of your life, there's value in doing these courses.

Amazing experience, the approach and tutor ensured I quickly got over my initial nervousness. From there the coaching was enjoyable and made the test at the end a breeze to pass. Worth every cent and worthy of more than 5 stars! 👍🏼

Took the ride forever Gold course on Sunday. This time, Hank was our instructor. I had taken Bronze and Silver (twice!) on my way to getting my full licence. I have been lucky enough to interact with Dan Ornsby and Pete Daly on my previous courses, and Hank certainly did not disappoint. I find that all the instructors are highly qualified, but they all have their own style and put emphasis on different aspects of riding, which is a good thing at the Silver/Gold levels and makes it worth taking the training multiple times. I personally try to take one course at least once a year. Cornering is probably in the cards for me in the future! Thanks guys!

I did the bronze Ride Forever course with Eddie. He was a fabulous instructor. His instruction was superb and his critique of our riding issues spot-on, I think. He obviously has passion for the job, and is very skilled. I feel a learned a lot, and feel I am a much safer rider now.

Professional and extremely useful course for beginner motorcycle training. Also advanced training. Everything explained so everyone understood. 100% rating by me. Will use them to advance my skills without a doubt.

Wyne is a wonderful instructor. He is very knowledgeable and I find easy to talk with him as compared to other trainers/instructors in the past. I had a really good experience with him. I highly recommend Wyne please contact him. Thank you Wyne for your kind advice on the way back to the camp :))

I participated in a Ride Forever Silver course with Clive on 28.11.20. Clive was a great instructor; he knows his stuff and just as importantly, how to give feedback- both positive, and .... constructive. I came away a better rider, and a safer rider. Great outcome. Highly recommended.

Wayne took us out today for our Bronze course and made the day a memorable one and opened my eyes to how much more there was to gain and learn on a bike and how much more to be aware of and be cautious of ahead and behind. Did the silver course last week end. Have returned to biking after 20 plus years, they say you never forget how to ride a bike, but what you know and should know are two different things. I have learned a great deal from this course, my riding Technics are now on track for better riding and a better understanding of awareness whilst riding urban and open road. The instructor made it easy to understand both in theory and in practice, having a one to one instruction on the road made it easier for me to adjust my riding habits and greatly improve my cornering and braking skills. Had a great day out, well worth the money, look forward to the gold course.

Great course - great instructor. Pitched at just the right level for reasonably experienced riders on medium to big bikes. 'Every day is a school day' and there is always a benefit from listening to the experiences of the instructors and fellow course participants. Highly recommended - I will be doing a Gold course before the end of summer!

I had a Great Experience doing my Bronze Course, Jared Cantlon was very helpful and shared his knowledge with us. The course was well structured and enabled me to build my confidence quickly. From being nervous at the beginning to feeling confident at the end of this course. Jared provided information so that I know what to practice for my Restricted License. Excellent day on the bronze course. Jared is very experienced and knowledgeable and is very thorough. I have experienced other training schools and definitely rate Ornsby above the rest. I look forward to a continued relationship with Ornsby as I progress through silver and gold.

Have done both the Silver and Bronze Ride Forever course with Dan. Very knowledgeable and approachable. Also, if you're just starting out, I did my Basic Handling test with Dan too and he was patient, helpful, and provided constructive and supportive feedback. Cannot recommend enough. Hollie is an absolute pleasure to deal with too in organizing the courses and assessments.

I participated in the Silver Ride Forever course, after riding daily for the past 10-15 years. I got a lot out of it and really enjoyed my day out. Dan was really constructive, giving me a couple of simple things to work on to make my riding safer and more enjoyable. I'll be back for the Gold course sometime. Highly recommended.

Just completed my second Ride Forever Silver Course, this time with Dan. Great communicator, very passionate about riding and safety, great day out on the bike! Every rider should do this course and consider recaps every 4-5 years. Even if you only take home just one piece of advice that could save your life, it was worth it!

Attended the Ride Forever Bronze Course today with Hank. The course was amazing and extremely helpful! A day well spent learning and riding. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to better their skills and improve their confidence. Thank you, Hank!

All trainers are absolutely great, can't recommend them enough. Initially I did Ride Forever Silver as pillion with Pete, then since have done my Learners with Steve, Ride Forever Urban Commuter with Dan, and Ride Forever Bronze with Pete. All the course are worth any motorcyclist doing regardless for new riders or refreshers. I intend to keep doing them annually at minimum. Top trainers!

Completed Bronze course on Saturday with Jared Cantlon instructing. Jared was very professional and yet made it fun as well. Thought it was so good I booked the commuter course for next Saturday not long after I got home. Preparing for the Restricted License Test which I will book with Ornsby MC training as well. Thoroughly recommended.

Dan and his team are passionate about making you ride with confidence and a smile. Not the easiest when it comes to CBTA and beyond as they care about developing riders to a very high standard, trust me your family will love you for training with Ornsby.

Wayne was my instructor for my basic handling test, he was extremely patient and polite all around and seemed very passionate about keeping people safe on the road. I look forward to coming back at some point and furthering my motorcycle skills

I can't highly enough recommend this bronze course. I was a bit anxious in the beginning, but Peter our instructor put me at ease. Each section of the course (theory, practical part, cornering, urban riding etc. ) was so valuable. Peter's way of teaching is fantastic and he is so knowledgeable. I learned on that day more, than in the last 10 years. This certainly gave my confidence a big boost. Our son just did the learner with Dan found this course so valuable as well. He learnt a lot. We had a great ride in the country, did some urban riding and practising other important skills, like emergency braking. And of course had a great lunch and good company. I will certainly put my new skills in the future in to practice. Thanks again for a great day.

Did the Gold Course yesterday and learnt heaps. Have ridden a lot but this highlighted a lot that I hadn't taken into consideration. Cornering (not all about cutting the apex), lane position always changing depending on the hazards around you as you ride along, use of rear brake and where to look etc. Brilliant - highly recommend it. We think we know lots but don't really. Dan was great - happy to advise and pass on his experience. Thank you..

I have just completed my 3rd course with Ornsby's. All three have very beneficial . Being a "returning rider" I have learnt a huge amount, in fact they have literally been life saving lessons. All the instructors I have met are personable and fantastic at "teaching".I will definitely be back for my Gold course .

Bronze Rinse Forever. Jarod was friendly, very knowledgeable and explained theory and techniques very well giving practical examples. Good mix of roads and guidance during the on road tuition with lots of really useful tips. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend any rider of any level on any bike do the 3 courses. 50 yrs with a bike license and have completed the Bronze course, have upskilled to another level. Will most certainly be doing the Silver and Gold Courses. Thanks Team.

Awesome riding school and Hollie and Danny are a super combo. Went in with real rudimentary riding skills thinking I'd skittle the BHS test only to realise the serious importance of knowing how to ride the right way. Dan's the man and has helped gradually and super patiently to eradicate some of my very naughty no no habits. This guy is a bike guru and knows his stuff and honestly shares his pearls of wisdom without making you look a noddy in the process. I can really recommend this crowd to anyone even qualified hog riders looking to be better riders. I respect someone who has the honesty to tell someone when they are not doing something quite right instead of just ticking all the boxes and sending newbies off half baked. Respect!

Motor bikes. If you are interested and would like to improve skills, technique, riding ability, them look no further. The instructors are first class and all is well organized. Maybe equaled, but not bettered

Having completed my second silver course this time with Dan Very knowledgable guy and a keen rider, this was a winter course and the prior instruction was comprehensive and clear, the ride itself was great from Geraldine over to Farile and return to Timaru, As a returning rider and over 60 I found the course to be fun, informative and enjoyable. I believe I will do one or two per yer just to brush up where needed

Absolutely awesome course! Done the bronze and silver. Learned alot on both course's. Beginner or advanced rider you will take something away. I personally will be doing a course annually.

A very good course. I've just done the bronze course in lieu of getting my restricted motorcycle license and Jared was a very good teacher and explained things well.

Big thumbs up!!!! Learnt so much from Clive, great structure to the course, theory and the practical. Highly recommended to all levels, and as it's subsided by ACC, it's ridiculously cheap, $20 for the bronze certificate!!

Have done the ACC Silver & Gold Ride Forever course with these guys. Highly recommend it to anybody who rides a bike. Subsidised by ACC, so no excuses! Great tutors, great day!!
